Our Own Terrible Way by Chelsey Czargasm - this is epic. ANF to DNF pipeline is so believable and Chelsey really pulls it off. Good smut, good jealous, good banter. What more do you want?

what if we just by @alittledizzy - GUYS! When I read this it hit me so hard, like a truck, this fic was so necessary and so needed and it was like a balm to my soul (as many dizzy fics are and have been for many many years, yeah I have loved her a long time)

soft sunlight & soothed dogs by wooowriter - have I ever cared much for hybrid fics before? no, not really. Do I care now? Yeah, and it's this fic's fault. Realistic world building, realistic feelings. It's good shit.

fucked up and down bad by Dizzy and Alison, my home dogs. I got to beta read this one and I screamed the entire way through. It's so good. I really enjoyed it!

In Safety There is Bravery by @gottagetshiver - i just-- yeah. I liked this one, what can I say? Shiver is awesome and this fic is too.

going through the motions by @hardtofindneuro - neuro has to be next to Shiver, that's just the way the world works. This fic is good so good but extra warning to take the tags seriously. Neuro always hits that angst HARD, but it's definitely worth it <3

hi. when it comes to dnf george fell first and here’s why.

Disclaimer: as always when i make these posts, i’m a crazy truther and i gensrs believe dnf are dating, george is queer, etc. if you don’t like truthing like that then this is the time for you to close this post. also this is just my opinion and i am not claiming to be completely right nor am i forcing you to take this as gospel However i am always right and have never been wrong in my life. anyways GEORGE FELL FIRST LET’S GET TO IT.

there are always arguments surrounding who in dnf fell in love first. my opinion has always been that george fell first, and that this was universally believed due to george’s behavior in 2019-20 until the fandom opinion shifted when dream started softening toward him and became more vocally affectionate in late 2020. i believe that prior to this shift dream only had somewhat of an unrecognized crush on george that eventually grew into genuine feelings for him, but that took time. and long before dream’s feelings ever grew and he came to terms with realizing exactly what they were, george had already been head over heels.

my go to for explaining that george fell first is always to tell people to watch very early dnf content on either of their youtube channels. how they acted was very different from what they’ve become with time. as early as 2019 george’s crazy ass was replying to fanart of him and dream calling dream a giant, aka obsessed with their damn size difference. george is also the one who coined dreamnotfound, with the earliest either of them ever used it being by george in this tweet from 2019.

george’s tweets as a whole from late 2019 to early 2020 can stand alone as evidence for how like. pathetic he was about being in love with dream while dream seems to have not even started questioning the fact that he was queer. in april 2020 we have george’s first ever twitch stream where he and dream make a bet that george ultimately wins and is given dream’s mom’s phone number. he chooses to text her saying “hi this is your son’s boyfriend” and that text and her response can be seen in this tweet. we also have george’s step dream tweet from may 2020 which is. referencing stepbrother porn.

there’s also a vod from may 2020 where at 1:07:55 dream talks about how, off stream, george had been talking about marrying him and the benefits of marrying him. we later found out from dream that, until their plans for him to move there instead of just visiting finally got serious in 2021, george hadn’t even known you needed a visa to live in the us meaning he just. wanted to marry dream and would talk about it IN PRIVATE as early as 2020.

also i know people hate to bring up cursed evil and sinister content but i feel like the 8 hour stream is VITAL to the george fell first narrative. he and dream made a bet where in return for george saying i love you, dream would show him his face. dream finds a loophole to avoid showing him his face and they spend a while arguing about it on stream, during which george gets visibly upset while arguing with dream about why saying he loves him is such a big deal. i just think that there are only two lines of thought that go into why george might have been so hesitant to say i love you to dream. one being that he was hesitant to give the words to anyone. but the other, which makes more sense to me, being that he didn’t want to say it to dream because he meant it in a more-than-friends way. this line of thought makes more sense when you pair it with the context of everything else about how george treated dream at the time.

george has also always just been very soft and kind of crazy when it comes to dream, which is something dream didn’t really start doing in return until early 2021. it’s only when dream became louder than george in his affection that people started to shift their opinions on who fell first, despite the fact that george is still just as fucking insane as he has always been. it’s also when we saw a shift from people thinking george was in pathetic unrequited love with dream to dream being the one in pathetic unrequited love with george instead of. drawing the logical conclusion that maybe just maybe the feelings had become requited.

in this, it’s also important to note that dnf was more of a joke and pandering for dream until early 2021 than it ever was for george, who has always just been. way more earnest about it like dream was making love you george (no gay) tweets while george was in private ranting to him about why they should get married and how it would be beneficial. also never forget that george was the first one of them to ever interact with dnf kiss fanart.

anyways i’m sure there’s a lot more i could include but i’m making this on the spot in about 20 minutes. If you’ve never seen the logic of saying george fell first i hope this has opened your eyes. in conclusion george fell first and dream eventually caught up, but it took him a while. But it doesn’t matter because now they are in fully requited love and mutually aware of it ^_^
