─ As Chara progresses through the underground, your asks will steer them towards various routes, and you will be able to choose options for them.

However, unlike the main game, they will have a bit more freedom. If they are frustrated with your choices, there's a chance they will make their own.

Are magic anons allowed?

─ Nope. However, you will have a few abilities that will be revealed later on.
