Work hard, sometimes even torture yourself with work, be stretched to your limits, but it is necessary to take rest as well, it is necessary. So be it: exhaust yourself for your own sake, not for the will of others, but do not forget to rest, to lay your head down and dream.

Day 36. De FUCK????
Why do I have this urge to destroy my life? Restrain myself? Hold myself back??
WHY??
Fromm has written that at the core of mastering something is liking that thing that one tries to master.
Also, he basically wrote that the concept of "leisure" has fucked society up. It is an invented concept that keeps everyone from reaching their goals.
Lemmi explain.
A human spirit is courageous, it strives for movement, some different kinds of it: sometimes rigorous, sometimes really gentle, like a wave.
A human moves from one activity to another, just slides (yes, I partially include the Dao's concept of 'still movement').
In last years, humans became so overfed with work-leisure polarities. Like go get burned on the job and then come home, lie down in front of the TV.
People, I AM SO FUCKED UP.
We are.
Leisure does not exist, as does the work. None of these things are real - they are a bunch of constructs to make a human a useful part of the greater mechanism.
Do you ever want to serve something but not you, work for someone on something but not for yourself, do someone but not you?
