”Mhm..” he hummed unable to hide his grin as she kissed the palm of his hand. “Yeah? Well, maybe when you get through with those you can come along with me. I’d sure like the company.” Lane wasn’t really the best at letting people know how he really felt. But, he hoped she knew in some small way that he cared for her very much. “Crush? Who said anything about a crush?” he asked with a chuckle trying not to blush.

“I would really like that” she replied softly not able to stop herself from smiling as she watched him blush. “No? I must have been mistaken then” she said with a light giggle in the tone of her voice. Leaning forward looking into his eyes before closing hers once she pressed her lips to his, kissing him softly but savoring the feel of his lips. The lips she definitely missed. Pulling back from their kiss she licked her lips and looked into his eyes. Running her fingers through his hair breathing in slowly. “Lane.. I need to talk to you about something and I’m..” she chewed on her bottom lip nervously. “I’m scared” she said as she started to tremble a bit. She hasn’t had a period since spring break and she didn’t know what it was, and with school, modeling, school activities and finals she didn’t even realize it until this morning knowing she’d have to find out and didn’t want to without him. Breathing slowly to try to calm herself down she figured there was no other way to do this than to be honest. “I don’t know if I am or not but I haven’t had a period since spring break.. I didn’t even realize it until yesterday when I was going through my schedule book. I haven’t taken a test yet because I’m so scared and I-I didn’t want to do it alone and it could be the birth control I don’t know” she said with a trembling tone.

“Just a little, huh?” he asked raising his brow back at her with a small grin still spread across his lips. “You sure about that? I could leave again” he teased back placing his hand on her knee and squeezing gently. He finished his slice of pizza and wiped his mouth again before grabbing a bottle of water. “I don’t really have plans set in stone yet but, I’m sure I’ll be bouncing back and fourth between here and Cali playing sets.” Lane’s favorite thing about summer was the endless opportunities to do what he loved most. “How about you? Are you going anywhere exotic for vacation?” He reached up and rubbed his thumb across the outline of her bottom lip. “You had a little sauce there” he grinned before pressing his lips together.

“I think you know the real answer to both of those” she said giggling softly. “Yeah? That sounds fun. I love when you play shows. I think that’ll be a lot of fun for you.” She finished the second slice of pizza. “I don’t have anything planned really. Just want to go with the flow, I do have a few shoots lined up but they’re not going to take up too much time thankfully” licking her lips after he ran his thumb over her bottom lip. “Oh yeah?” She asked smiling at him she grabbed his hand bringing it up to her face kissing his palm before she kissed his thumb. “So, what are we going to do about this crush you have on someone” she smirked

“I don’t blame you. It’s kind of hot outside and hot days are the best days to lounge around and be lazy.” He watched her as she grabbed some water and sat herself up on the table. “I like it. It’s really good” he commented as he closed the mini fridge and walked over to her. Placing his hands by her sides he leaned in to take a bite as she held her pizza out to him. His mouth instantly dropping open in shock when she pulled the pizza away from him teasingly. “Oh.. I see how it is” he grinned, a soft chuckle lacing his words. He sat down in the chair in front on her and grabbed his own slice taking a bite as he continued to watch her. “Yeah, it’s been a minute” he nodded, picking up a napkin to wipe his mouth.

Arching her right brow as she took another bite smiling. Resting her left foot on the arm of the chair he sat in getting goosebumps, thankful the fan she had on in her room just passed over them. Even though it wasn’t the fan that caused them she grabbed her napkin patting her lips. “Yeah, I think I missed you just a little” teasing him some more. Finishing off her first slice she grabbed another. Usually she would only eat one slice but as of lately she’d been eating more. “Do you have plans to go anywhere this summer?” She asked curiously. Emerson didn’t want to admit that she wanted him around but she did. Watching him watch her she licked her lips while swallowing her bite.

“I could just go get one done somewhere. But, shopping is always fun if you still wanted to go shopping for clothes or something” she smiled. “Oh, I know. I just hope they have a beach and a lot of hot guys. I heard they went to France last year so, hopefully it’s somewhere equally as amazing”

“One time I had to get a spray tan for a winter shoot cause I wasn’t dark enough and the lady got the solution in my mouth” she said laughing shaking her head. “I have no doubt there will be hot guys. Well maybe there’s a little doubt about that” she said giggling. “No, but a shopping trip could be fun. I’m down anytime”

Pushing open the door to Emerson’s room with his hands full he made his way over to the empty table to set everything down. “Hey, beautiful” he smiled over to the blonde before wrapping her into a tight hug when she wrapped her arms around him. “You look comfortable” he commented on her attire before grabbing the tub of ice cream to put into the freezer. He had been pretty busy himself lately booking gigs and working his side job. It felt like weeks since the last time he saw Emerson even though he knew it wasn’t possibly that long. “I got chocolate peanut butter I hope that’s ok?” he smiled holding up the ice cream for her to see before pulling open the door to the mini fridge to put the tub into the small freezer.

“I didn’t feel like getting dressed after my shower before I text you” she replied to his comment on her outfit. Grabbing a few bottle of waters she sat them on the table along with napkins. Watching him move around her room she leaned against the table smiling biting the corner of her bottom lip. “That sounds really good actually. I don’t think I’ve had that yet” Placing her hands on the table she lifted herself up sitting on the table and opened the pizza grabbing a slice. “Do you want a bite?” she asked holding up a slice of pizza while her legs lazily swayed back and forth. Taking a bite before he got there she laughed while she teased him with a bite “This chinese pizza is amazing.” Licking her lips while chewing the bite slowly, after she finished the bite she took a drink of her water. “Has it been a week since I’ve seen you?” she asked tilting her head looking at him before taking a bite again.

Chinese Pizza || Emerson and Lane

Emerson’s room was pretty bare after packing things up for the summer. She decided to wait on her clothes until last minute. After cleaning up and organizing everything she decided to take a quick shower. Getting dressed into her white satin two piece pajama set. She laid on her bed relaxing snuggling her pillow under her head and texted with Lane back and forth. She’d be lying if she didn’t like him. They always had fun together and she really enjoyed spending time with him. She had been busy with a few modeling gigs and hadn’t had the time to really see anyone since being back. After Lane agreed to come over she held her phone while closing her eyes. Being so tired lately she was finding herself wanting to sleep a lot along with always feeling hungry recently. Raising her brows as she heard her door open she opened her eyes sleepily. “Hey” she said smiling at him as she pushed up onto her hands and knees to get off of the bed to greet him. Smelling the food she hummed “That smells so amazing” she said placing her hand on her stomach as she watched him set them down she wrapped her arms lazily over his shoulders kissing him on the cheek before hugging him. “Thank you for coming over”
