leaving for my placement testing for my school next yr

it’s supposed to take 6 hours um

but the tests rnt timed, that’s just the estimate they said ?? so hopefully it will be less than that ??? i wouldn’t be surprised either way

idk how this will work even ?? they just said to bring a pencil and a water bottle so

guys i’m kind of scared not even for the tests really but just that also this is going to be with literally everyone i’m going to school with next year and i only know like two people (however granted this isn’t a social thing like i don’t think i’ll be expected to interact with themm )

also it’s basically just like state testing except it actually matters ish so i really really don’t want to be there just sitting doing work and nothing else for hours at 8am on a saturday

also like i feel like this could be very overstimulating and that would not be good at all

guys idk i hope it goes well it could definitely be like not that bad still i just don’t know what’s happening and i am like not at all the type of person who can just play things by ear like i need a plan except. i. don’ttttt

oh that same teacher was talking to this boy and girl near me and was saying that they should “smile if they like eachother” and they were both obviously uncomfortable and the girl was like “stop you’re being gross, boys and girls can be friends” and he was like “relax i’m just joking”

in ela my teacher is showing us a movie and he said that he had some comic strips to color if anyone wanted to (to put earth day facts on)

and obviously no one wanted the extra work

so then he came up to me and put his hand my my shoulder and ask me to do them bcs i had “artistic skills”

which as soon as he said that i knew what was coming bcs apparently no one can be normal abt anything ever

and one of the kids in front me said “more like autistic skills”

and they haven’t stopped making autism jokes sense

and also my teacher held me by my arm while showing me where the coloring supplies were which like ew ms now i need to do this fucking comic

Spoilers for Watching and Dreaming!

After my fifth rewatch of this episode, I noticed a detail that maybe made me cry. Just a bit. As we all know at the start of the episode Luz, King, and Eda are all stuck in their worst nightmares due to the Collector. The one I want to focus on is Luz's dream.

Now I could rant a ton about this, the details the emotion, but I'll keep this to a minimum. Luz finds Amity first, and Amity starts to try and attack. Luz runs off and ends up with Willow, who is also aggressive and threatening. Then Gus, who passive aggressively attacks her. Then there is Hunter. Now this one is different. Hunter is simply broke down. But the main thing is when the rest of the group, Gus Willow and Amity, start to attack, Hunter does nothing. He simply stays crouched down on the floor, crying.

After thinking about it this means so much more than just he is simply sad. Luz's worst nightmares for each of her friends are exactly as the nightmare goes. She is afraid Amity, Gus, and Willow will feel betrayed and turn and fight against her. But with Hunter, she may be afraid of this, but she is more scared that he will break down, stop fighting. Luz is more scared that her brother will finally snap, than for him to attack her. Literally sobbing help 😭
