triumvirate taking turns becoming really sleep deprived.
Jim is the most often, he overworks himself all the time, stressing over the ship and whether he is good enough, it makes it hard to go to sleep.
Bones has insomnia and will often stay up way too late reading journals or watching ill patients.
Spock says that Vulcans need less sleep, but even he easily reaching the end of his endurance without noticing and needs dragging into bed.

Whump Prompt #650
The team are forced into a dream-state in which they re-live the whumpees worst memories.
After a while, the team are able to wake up, mortified at the memories A had suppressed for so long. But A doesn’t stir… they’re trapped in their own mind re-living the events in excruciating detail.
(Alternatively: instead of magic, they’re subject to a hallucinogenic gas/drug… of which A has been exposed to for a worrying amount of time.)
