I want to reach a point in my life when I'm not extremely miserably jealous of people who are in romantic relationships because like. It's not helpful to me. A relationship won't fix my life. But also I feel so jealous and resentful of people in committed romantic relationships because there's this intrinsic acknowledgement that the people in that relationship are desirable and wanted, if only to each other (but likely not if only). There's physical attraction and personality attraction. I do not know if I'll ever have the privilege of anyone seeing me that way beyond a fat fetish.

I have so much love to give yknow but it's like. Is everyone else willing to look at their fatphobia and ableism to find me attractive. U kno?

+ obviously being hot isn't the end all be all of life but spending your entire life being romantically ignored and harshly judged for being a fat little freak does in fact negatively affect your brain. When everyone sees you as disgusting and conveys that to you, it uh, hurts your self esteem

@vault-33 just got out the hospital with more cysts on its spleen and we could use some help getting the OTC meds it needs to keep comfortable until they can be drained. Splenic cysts are extremely painful and causing a rapid heart rate and terrible chest pain.

A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a 29-year-old Black trans woman who lost both her legs after allegedly being thrown onto NYC subway tracks by her boyfriend. A statement from the New York City District Attorney confirms that the victim and her boyfriend were at the Fulton St. station in Brooklyn when the man is said to have seen the oncoming downtown train coming and “thrown” his girlfriend towards the tracks. “The victim was rushed to the hospital, where both of her legs had to be amputated. She also suffered from fractures to her ribs and a blood clot in her lungs,” the statement continues. When the police arrived, they found the woman under the train, reports Into. The woman has since taken part in an interview with trans activist Hope Giselle, and explains that she was on her way to a gender-affirming appointment when she alleges that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he “threw” her onto the tracks.

In the end, if children bother you for sensory reasons and that's why you don't want them to be in the same public spaces as you, there are disabled adults who can and would cause the same sensory issues for you. Adults who are loud, who vocally stim, who have poor boundaries, poor hygiene, who cry in public, etc etc etc. And they're already socially ostracized for all of this.

So actually yeah, it's the bare minimum you can do for the group with the least human rights on the planet to figure out how to accept children as part of your public community without hating them for it, even if you are child-free yourself.
