There’s several bobbing nods in response to her words, but how much he actually absorbed is unclear. Bear. Uh huh. He snorts at the scientists name, not that his was exponentially better. “Slug??? Like those little slimey wormy things?? That’s funny...” He only spares a glance toward the laboratory, mentioning he’s not to be permitted in the one back home outside of his check-ups, but offers no further information on the subject as he’s promptly drawn toward something else.
“It’s k! This place is really big and fancy!! Bosses place is too, but her’s is scary fancy!!!!” Tattered sneakers squeak along behind her. He may have grabbed a thing or two that were just too shiny to not take, but else-wise he was on his best behavior! After all, she was helping him and he didn’t have orders to torment them yet, so!

“Ooh don’t let her catch on to you saying that or she might just pay you a visit!!”
The looks she’s given to her unfinished sentence is astoundingly blank for such a shrouded face, as if you can feel the unquestioning emptiness that hangs between them. He seems to perk up at the doctors mention, feathered top of his hood puffing with his sudden motion, much like a real birds plumage. “Oh yeah!!! Dr. 5 is my best friend!!! Or like, the closest thing to it!!! It’s a really smart scientist NERD but he can be okay sometimes!!! ‘n he’s a bear! Which I guess isn’t normal to some people? ‘Cause he gets a lot of weird looks!”
He blathers as he unquestioningly follows the girl further into the strange place. Goggle covered eyes glance wildly about at his surroundings, occasionally brushing a gloved hand along things he just can’t resist at least grazing, but he still follows the girl closely.
“I would..much prefer she didn’t.” Handling regular villains was enough.
The awkward moment between them is enough to make her feel anxious, and she focuses on the ground for a moment after that. Jeez. She gives a couple of nods ever so often to show she’s listening to him speak, raising her brows. “Oh? We have a bear, but 6.0.6 isn’t like..a scientist or anything.. But we do have a scientist. That’d be Dr. Slug.” She idly points in the way she believes his lab to be. “That’s where he is right now, I’m sure.”
She doesn’t seem to mind him touching things– it’s the idea of breaking things that stresses her out. It could easily be fixed or cleaned up, sure, but the noise of things breaking would alert everyone else in the manor, most likely, and she’d prefer not to disturb them if possible. “Just a bit further..sorry..”
