Giant Q&A for questions I get the most ✨
Q: how do I stop identifying with ego when they've got tasks to do throughout the day?
I am: Just watch and observe, allow them to do whatever w/o interfering and w/o identifying yourself with it.
Q: It's hard to just watch and observe ego and thoughts without identifying, is there anything else I can do?
I am: You have a few options-
When you catch yourself reacting and identifying, just say "not me, nothing to do with me" and move on.
Self Inquiry- this means to question the validity of the ego's experiences and thoughts. "Who is this happening to right now?" "If this body wasn't here, what would be left of me?" "To whom do these thoughts come?" "Who am I?" "Where did I come from?" "What makes the physical more real than imagination, and what makes them separate?"
Meditation- Bry meditated heavily at the beginning of her journey, highly recommended if you have a super active mind, helpful for releasing attachments to ego and quieting the mind.
Q: I'm confused on what watching your thoughts means
I am: Just watch thoughts pass without judging or interacting with them
Q: I'm doing all of this but I still feel very attached to ego and it's circumstances, I'm frustrated.
I am: Are you doing it to make something happen? If so you are probably trying too hard. Understand that your ego is not actually real and that there's nothing to detach from. Be gentle and patient with yourself.
Q: But that's contradiction, how can we let go of ego if there is no ego?
I am: You're breaking the habit of seeing ego as you. There's actually nothing here except consciousness. You are Consciousness imagining itself to be a person and imagining their world, these things have no reality by themselves.
Q: So what do I do then?
I am: Accept the fact that everything is perfect now and that you are already free.
Q: How do I know if I'm identifying with ego?
I am: Claiming that you don't have something/ are lacking something. Claiming ego's experiences/circumstances are yours.
Examples: I want my desired appearance but I don't see it. I imagined something but it's not here and I don't see it. My head hurts. I'm working at a job I hate.
Q: So I understand all of this intellectually but I still get the urge to do something or learn more, is this from ego?
I am: Yes, all trying and effort comes from ego.
Q: I can't understand this, not even intellectually...
I am: This is not for the mind and ego to understand, just know yourself to be what you really are, know that everything is perfect now and that you're already free.
Q: If I want to change a situation what do I do?
I am: You stop identifying as the one dealing with the situation, and know that everything is as you want it to be. Take your attention completely off the problem.
Q: I don't understand how there's no difference between 3D/4D?
I am: You are reality itself. Consciousness is the only reality, as contrary to what most people believe - their "physical" being real. Anything "outside" yourSelf that you can percieve cannot be real because it's not you. The 5 senses work exactly the same in dreams, the waking state, and in daydreams/visualizations. You take the "physical" to be more real because you take yourself to be ego.
Q: what about time? I don't understand how the past isn't real when you have photo proof of things happening in past
I am: the past and future only exist in thoughts. Thoughts are not real, they come up in awareness and then they go. It's your identification with your ego's past and memory that keeps the dream going. Only the mind gives you the illusion that pictures were taken some time in the past. You are really just looking at pictures from now, giving yourself the illusion that it was taken "some time before." The future are hypothetical thoughts on what could happen, but the only thing that truly exists is the present moment. Consciousness is present now. Whatever you are conscious of NOW is what exists. If you want to use a manifestation example, the reason why you are able to "change the past" or "revise" it is because it never really was to begin with. You becoming conscious of a different outcome NOW is what "changes the events that happened before."
Analogy: An animation flip book where a scene is drawn in progression on each page to give the illusion that something is moving when you flip the pages
Q: I find myself detached and sometimes floaty throughout the day, I don't find myself as involved with ego's activities as I was before, is this normal?
I am: yes and it means you are on the right path. You will eventually reach a permanent state of peace with no thoughts
Q: how can I function throughout the day with no thoughts?
I am: the body will continue doing whatever it needs to without your interference the same way all the organs in the body function without your interference.
Q: what's the point of realizing Self if you're not trying to get anything? I thought we were limitless and can do whatever we want?
I am: Realizing Self is realizing you are not separate from anything and therefore cannot lack. You can't get something you already have. You can't get what you already are. If you're doing this to change something in "3D" you are missing the point of Non Dualism. Choosing a new dream where your ego's circumstances are different or choosing a whole new ego, or completely changing your world is a bonus!
Q: How do I choose new ego?
I am: Drop your habit of thinking you are ego #1, drop it's backstory, it's beliefs, it's labels, everything about them that you used to identify with. Stop choosing your old ego by identifying with thoughts of their non existent past and future. Once you are detached from the old ego, one thought of the new ego's life and it should appear.
Q: What happens when we die?
I am: If you die without being self realized, you'll just be reincarnated again. Your true Self can never die, you existed before the body. (I personally don't believe death of the body has to happen, death is just another concept created along with all other concepts of the world/ego and it doesn't exist if you take your awareness off it)
Q: Non Dualism and Law of Assumption sound like the same thing but in different fonts.
I am: The main differences are- LOA's God/Consciousness is still ego. The inner man is ego. They encourage the usage of thought while in ND you are dropping thought altogether.
Q: Can I use ND and LOA in conjunction?
I am: ND would render LOA techniques useless since you already are everything, you'd only do techniques for fun, not to make something happen.
Q: I'm trying to materialize something instantly and it's not working.
I am: You're still identifying with ego and the 5 senses, and not Self. You're trying to make something happen instead of knowing that it's automatically yours since you never lacked in the first place.
Hint: Your entire ego experience is already imagination, you are imagining being a person living in a world right now. It is not a technique like visualization.
Q: Ego is going through traumatic/stressful situation and I need it gone immediately!
I am: This applies to anything, take your attention off the problem and it always goes away. Problems can only exist if you are focused on them.
Q: what happens to the old ego's life if you choose a new one?
I am: You will remember it like a dream you had last night, or a memory from "the past"
Q: Can I just give my ego whatever it wants since I am everything?
I am: Yes you can IF you are not identifying as the ego who lacks.
Q: The ego and world won't disappear even after dis identifying with it.
I am: You haven't taken full responsibility for creating it yet. You're still holding on to them lowkey while claiming they won't leave, giving them free will.
Q: Other people in my life aren't real? It's just me?
I am: Your ego along with the "people in your ego's life" aren't real they are merely forms of Consciousness/Self. Self is reality and the only thing that truly exists.
Q: The idea that I'm all alone stresses me out.
I am: You are not alone in the sense that you think. You created all these forms and worlds because you wanted to experience yourself in many different ways. All forms are one and united which makes the experience so beautiful. The creation of everything was done out of love.
Q: what about shifting, how does that relate to Non Dualism?
I am: Self is immovable. Since Self is everywhere and everything, you cannot move/shift from place to place, you are only switching what you are aware of in that moment.
Q: what books do you recommend for beginners to understand Non Dualism?
I am: Here is Ada's Google Drive of books to read. Bry started with Keys to the Ultimate Freedom.
Q: How does everything fall into place when you realize Self?
I am: Identification with Ego and its problems= Problems exists
Identification with Self only= Ego's problems disappear
Everything appears or disappears based upon what you are identified with and conscious of
Q: Everything is possible? I created everything so it's possible to change things that were previously in place, for example the laws of physics?
I am: All possibilities exist within you so yes.
Q: Do I need to accept what teachers/gurus say as true?
I am: They are meant to guide you in the right direction but you have to investigate see the truth for yourself. (Spoiler alert: the only real truth is that you are Self, all other truths exists because Self has created them/are aware of them. They can be changed.)
Q: If there's no one but me, who are you?
I am: A figment of your imagination.
