Hi, mod Sparrow here! Lets have a little chat.
First, I apologize for the sudden undefined hiatus. Life got... bad, and chaotic. Along with my mental health. I'm trying to enjoy creating again, so I'm slowly returning to everything.
Second - if you'd like to support me further, please message me. I have a public wishlist for me and my sibling, a cashapp, and I'm looking into venmo. I'll take writing commissions, too.
Writing comms will have priority over any wips, requests, etc. Thank you ♡

MaMcMu: Perhaps a NaLu one that also involves the Next Gen. In which they have four children with Nashi being the eldest and Natsu develops the dreaded Dad Bod.
.
It’s been years since they finished the 100 Years Quest, sealing the dragons in their own ways - defeating them, sealing their powers, any loophole they needed. The guild was the first to complete it, even beating Gildart’s in the job. Natsu would boast about this for a long time, even if it was because of one silly mistake. But, the guild completed it, and their popularity only grew more.
It’s been a while. Lucy smiles at the memories as she flips through old sketchbooks Reedus had laying around in the guildhall, reminiscing on old quests. And... Master Makarov, who was long dead now. They’d buried him behind Fairy Tail, so he could still watch the guild. His children. They’d argued for a while on who would be guild master after him, but - well, Macao and Wakaba were getting too old, and Erza got confused with all of the work before...
Lucy had been voted guild master, and held the role for years. When Macao and Wakaba passed, and the next generation was beginning with Levy and Gajeel’s twins, she had been there for it all. They trusted her with the title. Now, her and Natsu had four kids running around the guild they’d grown in. Little mages, all of them. So, just like her mother had passed down a key onto her, she’d passed her Cancer key onto one of her children - the 2nd eldest, as he didn’t pick up Natsu’s flames like Nashi did. Nashi. Named similarly to the Nasha they’d met in Edolas, and looking similar to that bright girl as well.
They were their hopes, their stars, the next generations of mages. Although, Natsu used the children to slack off - and, unfortunately for everyone holding hopes for him, he’d developed... well, a ‘dad bod’, Jason had called it, while still calling the man cool. Nobody cared much. Not anymore, since he wasn’t completely wrong - there weren’t many enemies, anymore. Zeref and Mavis lived on in possible reincarnations, and the dragons were finally calm. Demons were rare to find now, and taken care of quickly. They could relax.
They could have a happy ever after. Their endless journey, it could continue in peace.
And, if fairies had tails or not, they’d leave it up to their children to find out the truth. The guild was in good hands, allowing all of the previous masters to rest in peace. No more ghosts, no more secrets.

< SageTheWriter (ao3) : If you don't mind, could you write an angsty vampire au featuring Gajeel and Levy? >
•AU: Vampire•     •Ship: Gajeel x Levy•
Red. It’s everywhere; staining his shirt, his hands, the mud underneath them - and still, the rain refuses to wash it away. To wash Levy’s life away. Gajeel holds her, gently, careful to avoid the stab wound in her side, but it’s no use. No amount of pressure can stop the bleeding, and their hope was beginning to die out with her.
They both know she’ll die. Wendy won’t be quick enough, or Chelia, or even Porlyusica. No one will get there in time. Her life was slipping away, and - Gajeel sighs, licking over his sharp fangs. Well, there was one way left.
“Levy,” He wipes away warm tears, trying to stay strong in front of her. For the person he loved, he’d draw hidden strength. Always. “Let me turn you. We can keep living, together.” Gajeel, surprisingly, struggles to choke back more tears. He always did have a habit of becoming weak when by her side. Just her smile, her voice, and he would always calm down. But, that smile’s dying now.
“But, that-” Levy weakly coughs, shaking hands holding Gajeel’s face. “That wouldn’t be fun. We’d just... watch everyone else die, then.”
“I wouldn’t care!” He sobs, holding her hands. “If it’s just us, and Lily, I wouldn’t care. Please, please don’t go.”
“Just me, and you, and a vampire cat?” Levy tries to joke, but her laugh is cut off with a painful gasp. “That- I don’t want to watch my friends die. That would hurt.”
Stubborn. Levy had always called him stubborn, whenever he would argue with Natsu, standing on his point for too long even while wrong. He understands. She knows he does, but - watching her die, watching his love and hope die, would hurt most for him. Being turned into a vampire, it wasn’t something he wanted. It wasn’t something he was happy about. He remembers when he went home, afraid, and Levy was there; comforting and warm, she was always there to help.
And now, her life was ending, and she had accepted it too easily. Too ready. Always prepared for the unexpected, she somehow even faced her pain with a smile.
“I don’t wanna watch you die. That would hurt.” Gajeel sighs, knowing it’s pointless to keep being stubborn here. His words and pleads fall on deaf ears, and the listener is already gone. If nothing else, he’ll at least kill the bastard who caused this. He promises her body this, and quickly leaves with the rain before someone finds the two.

•someone requested Graytear with a huge sprinkle of angst. I ended up writing this AU, but idk if its enough angst, so I am not posting it as a reply to the person, but posting it on its own!•
•AU where Ultear is in Tartaros and Gray has his devil slayer magic - but she’s how she was around her Lost Ages scene, with not knowing her own worth or self, or if she was good or evil. so there’s unrequited love, back and forth bickering, and the whole “You’re a devil slayer, im a devil, come kill me” kinda???•
•AU: Devil & Devil Slayer•     •Ship: Graytear•
After meeting and facing his father, Gray really shouldn’t be surprised anymore. He understands Sabertooth’s shock at meeting their old master and his daughter, he sees Juvia’s pain for defeating the necromancer who had used his father, but - nothing, none of it, could have prepared him for this. But, here she is, Ultear standing in front of him. She’s different, somehow, and yet still reminds him of that same person he’d met on Tenroujima - broken, alone, just her and the world. Like a shell of a person, who can’t figure out their own self or worth.
“Huh. I wonder what your mother would think of this?” He sighs, gesturing to her fingertips stained black, the horns atop her head, one broken and dripping a dark ink. “Really, now... you can come back home with us. Let’s go back to Fairy Tail, or Crime Sorcière.”
“Hah!” Ultear laughs, pulling a floating orb towards her, “Back home? Don’t you get it?! I can’t go back now!” She throws it towards him, but it smashes against his ice shield, the separate parts flying back to her to reform. “I can’t... I can’t go back now.” She laughs weaker, voice gone soft. There’s no fight in her. No will, no want - no purpose. She stands here, empty, and still pushes herself to fight. For what? There’s nothing left, and she’d clearly left her guild for this.
“You still can. We don’t have to fight. I’ll bring you home to Jellal and Meredy, okay?” Gray knows he’s asking too much. He knows she won’t listen, or that she won’t even hear him. Still, his hope refuses to waver - not now, not ever. He’d always hope that she could recover from her past, that she could finally smile with friends, or even just stand by his side. He cared for her, after all. Maybe even loved her. And now, it all seems too late. Nothing could reach her, now.
“I told you.” She sighs, expression oddly blank. “There’s no use. I was ready to end someone’s life with these hands. I’m really still a witch who doesn’t think twice about murdering someone... something like that, I can’t come back from.” Something in the air shifts, and Gray watches in awe as her black-tipped fingers freeze over with frost, the ice spreading to the burnt trees around them, to the ground - frozen paths, all leading towards Gray. Underneath him, the ground grows, and he quickly dodges as where he once stood explodes, vines and flowers made of ice erupting.
“No, no, you can. You can come back.” Gray shouts, dodging the ice vines being thrown towards him. He jumps away from frozen flowers, and still, still, never attacks back. He knows she won’t stop, he knows she won’t give up. “Please. There’s people who care about you, who don’t want this for you.”
“Don’t you get it?” Ultear growls, summoning blocks of ice that bloom out towards Gray, trying to hit him. “I don’t deserve to live! You’re a devil slayer, aren’t you? Here I am, a devil, right in front of you! Fight back!”
She keeps attacking, never acknowledging the people around her, the ones who were there. Jellal, Meredy, Gray - they’re really frozen away in her memories, so she sees nothing else but the darkness. There’s no time to grieve. Ice vines keep growing around him, covered in purple thorns. Because even a beautiful rose has thorns.

The sky burns red with flames, and Gray nearly chokes on the smoke and dust, stumbling over rubble. The town. It’s all destroyed, torn apart and falling - everyone is screaming, running, and a few nearly trip over the child walking by. Still, he hurries, ignoring the regret consuming him whole as he stares up at Deliora. Deliora; his monster, his demon, the creature that stole his home and family... Gray hopes, for a minute, that Lyon and Ur don’t reach him. That they won’t have to see what he’s planning. After all, he learned from the best, didn’t he?
He lets out a shaky sigh, frozen in fear, but- he pulls his arms back, thinking over that spell he’d read about. Iced Shell. Hopefully, if it all goes right, Deliora would be frozen with him soon.
“Gray!” There’s Ur’s voice already, two pairs of footsteps hurrying towards him. “Gray, stop!” She screams, but he tries to ignore it, thrusting his arms forward into an X shape. The flames around him stop, the air suddenly colder, ice and frost spreading around him, and Ur slides to a stop, standing in front of him suddenly, blocking his view of Deliora.
“Hey,” She weakly laughs, panting, “What do you think you’re doing? You have a whole future, don’t you?” His spell breaks as she pushes him back, and he stumbles into Lyon’s arms. “Besides,” Ur breathes slow, turning towards Deliora, pulling her arms back in a similar formation, but - the ice, it’s different this time. “I’m going to be the one to seal your demon.”
The ground freezes much faster and, no matter how much Lyon or Gray yell, she doesn’t stop. They stumble away from the ice, afraid, both consumed by fear and regret and guilt, unable to do anything except watch Ur’s hands freeze over.
“I don’t know where you learned such a thing, but... well, I guess I’ll be glad you didn’t read it all the way. After all, I’m sealing it forever.”
Lost Iced Shell.
It seals Deliora and, with it, the casters existence. Their body, any memories of them... all of it would be gone, replaced with ice that would seal the demon. And when Gray and Lyon wake up on the ground, hand-in-hand, neither can explain what happened. The demon is stopped, frozen in a deep blue ice, but neither knows who casted it. There was someone with them, someone who chased after them, someone who taught them the magic, but...
The two go home in silence, feeling guilt, and not understanding why. And, when they get inside, it suddenly feels wrong. Too empty, too quiet. Two kids in this house, all alone? There was surely something else-- someone else, someone else had lived here. Someone else had visited the town with them, buying them different fruits to try, but- it’s empty. The house, the memories, it’s all wrong.
And, Lyon tries to accept it. Neither of them could defeat Deliora, and neither is sure who did. There’s no one to compete with, no one to beat. So, him and Gray decide to keep training together, having... nobody else, now.

July 26th NaLu Day special prompt: Summer Fun in the Sun!
Magnolia is in the middle of a heatwave, so how does Fairy Tail cope? Return to the Ryuzetsu Land that has been rebuilt! Bigger, better, with even more rides this time - not only waterpark rides, but regular attractions too!
Fairy Tail is excited to return, even if to cause more chaos, but they eventually find it safer to split into groups for exploring. Most people choose to go with their teams - Shadow Gear resting in the lazy river, Thunder Tribe racing to find the scariest rollercoaster, and... Team Natsu, lost in a mirror maze.
Honestly, Lucy has no idea how they ended up here, watching the others discussing how to find the exit.
"Lucy, Lucy, look!" Happy laughs, making funny faces in the mirror, watching them get reflected multiple times.
"Hmm, I know the way!" Erza shouts, walking directly into a mirror. Happy snorts, trying to hide his laughter.
"Wait, wait, I know!" Natsu grins, immediately running into- Gray.
"Watch where you're going!"
"Eh?! I thought you were a mirror!"
"Huh?!" The two glare at eachother, basically growling. Lucy sighs, and points at a path before a fight can break out. She can't deny how much fun she's having, though - spending time here with everyone... she's happy.
"Come, come." She smiles, waving the others along to follow her out of the maze and back into the bright sun. Finally free, the group rests, not feeling so trapped now.
"Eh, Natsu-san? Everyone?" Wendy's voice calls, hurrying toward the group. "Hello!" She stops in front of the group, dragging along Juvia, and- Gray leans to the side, staring at Lyon lingering behind the group.
"Guess I'll join you two." Gray sighs, going off to explore with Juvia and Lyon.
Erza nods, grabbing Wendy's shoulder. "Sweets. I saw a cute shop back there." And, the two also leave, leaving behind...
"Eh?" Lucy looks around, shocked. "How is it just us?!" She points at Natsu, confused, but he only laughs.
"Come on, Lucy!" He grabs her wrist with a wild grin, dragging her away to find more games or mazes to go through. Of course, they stop at a few food stalls on the way, with Natsu trying every little snack or meal - Lucy has no chance to grieve her wallet, enptying little by little.
.
"Hello?" Happy yells, walking into another mirror. "Where'd everybody go...?"
.
With the sun still blazing, other mages have tired quickly and found places to rest, or somewhere with cooler air. Except Lucy, still being dragged around by Natsu, pointing out all types of games. They'd already won small stuffed animals from some, but he was still refusing to stop - Lucy sighs, realizing the heat probably doesn't even bother him.
"Natsu, hey. Let's go on that." She weakly points, up to the ferris wheel, but Natsu just stares. Thinks. Stares more.
"Hmmmmnggh, okay!" He frowns, hard, but still leads the way.
He... agreed? Lucy blinks, surprised, having been sure he'd deny due to his motion sickness, but- they sit, side-by-side, Natsu clutching his stomach. He groans, leaning against her, and her face flushes red.
Why would he go when it'd make him sick? Maybe... no no no, no way! Lucy laughs, looking away to hide her flushed face.
"Hey, Lucy, I..." Natsu groans, sitting up. Maybe this was... could it be?
"Y-Yeah?" She turns toward him, nervous.
"I'm gonna throw up-" He leans over her, sticking his head out of the window. Stupid. She'd been stupid!

A Fairy’s Tail - an upcoming show airing live, with a wide variety of adventures and battles. Some people would remember it for the magic, the friendship and family, the laughter and tears. Others knew it for the little characters and different casting, even if some actors weren’t well-known yet.
Lucy Heartfilia was a less known actor, surprised she got chosen for the main character. It was even more surprising when she walked onto the set, recognizing multiple faces from magazines and other shows she’d known. Even Mirajane Strauss from Sorcerers Weekly was there, greeting her with a kind smile!
Though, Lucy had to admit that she had fun working with everyone around her. Natsu, Gray, even Erza was fun to talk with outside of recording - every day was so much fun, figuring out character dynamics and how lines should be read. And on days that there was no recording, the group still sometimes met just to hang out, becoming something like friends.
Over time, Lucy grew to enjoy her work, and knew about everyone and their characters. Natsu Dragneel, playing a fire wizard, known for playing in action movies. Their characters were clearly close in the show, even if they were never officially together - Lucy could tell there was something there, in the way they interacted, the way they spoke to each other.
And, eventually, the two actors formed a similar relationship. Meeting after work to share ice cream, talking about upcoming events and photoshoots, or just enjoying the stars together; the two were happy together, enjoying each others presence. Of course, they couldn’t be too obvious about it - both being well-known actors by now, their fans and production would become disappointed. Especially if it ended badly, then... well, Lucy shakes her head, refusing to think about that.
“Running away by myself? No way.” Lucy recites her lines with a smile, looking up towards Natsu, “It’s always more fun when we’re together!”
Erza nods, pushing up her glasses. “Good, good!” She pushes a strand of scarlet hair behind her hair, having dyed her hair for the role. “Perfect, Lucy.”
“Yeah, you did great.” Natsu smiles, too soft, reaching for Lucy’s hands. “C’mon, breaktime-” He shifts, suddenly still when Erza clears her throat, staring at the two. Her expression softens though, and she leaves with a smile.
“That looked like... approval?” Lucy points, shocked, “I thought she’d get mad- anyways, step back a bit! You’re way too close in the first place!” She huffs, stepping aside Natsu to hurry towards the exist, only pausing to make sure he was following. The problem is quickly forgotten once they reach the nearby ramen shop, sitting side-by-side and deciding together what to order. Besides, Natsu probably didn't realize his mistake anyways - Lucy can't really blame him.
The two only grow closer during recording, planning more auditions and photoshoots together. Their relationship becomes more obvious, less hidden, more holding hands and shared milkshakes. Eventually, most of the others have figured it out on their own, without being told - but everyone respects their wishes, and stays quiet when asked during any interviews.
With the world knowing without it being official, Lucy laughs, realizing it’s just like their characters.

•SHIP: Nalu•      •AU type: Royalty•
Lucy had been requesting a personal guard for a month now - after being stalked, threatened, and even a kidnapping attempt, who could blame her? They had enough guards for it, and payment wouldn’t be a problem either. Why her father kept refusing, she couldn’t guess.
But then, Layla got sick. Really sick. They weren’t sure where it came from, even with all of the doctors visiting, so rumors spread. Rumors of betrayal and poison, something snuck into the food. The maids turned against each other, arguing over who would take care of food and pointing at whoever was close to Layla.
Lucy, in a fit of stubbornness, even refused the cooks food for a while. She’d change out of her fancy dresses and into dirty overalls, a button-up shirt with pushed up sleeves, all covered in paint and dirt. Then, she’d go to the kitchen and try making her own food.
That was when Jude finally turned and agreed to getting another guard - a personal one, just for Lucy. He took applications and scouted for a while, searching for one good enough for his daughter, but... well, the kingdoms people were all odd. Eventually, he gives Lucy the job to find one, since it was her wish to have the guard; he thinks, maybe, she won’t be able to find one and will give up. (After all, his idea of protecting her was to keep her inside the castle.)
She searches the group for someone interesting, someone that stands out. There’s a strong man that comments on her body as she passes, a strange reporter calling everyone cool, a brightly colored knight chanting about love... the list goes on. How disappointing.
“Waaa, I’m bored...” A man in the back yawns and sighs, ignoring the immediate glares he gets from the others. Now, that’s interesting. Someone here to become a guard for royalty, but relaxing and complaining about boredom? Lucy steps through the crowd easily, approaching the man. He rests on the floor leaning against the wall, trying to stay away. His hair... it’s salmon color, the first thing she notices about him.
“You’re here for the position?” She asks, crouching down to be level with the man, softly laughing at the way everyone else gasps and stares, clearly confused. “You’re interesting. Tell me, what would you do if someone... poisoned me?”
“Sniff it out, obviously. And then beat up whoever did that.” He threatens the hypothetical person easily, without even opening his eyes to look at her. “Who’d be dumb enough to poison royalty anyway? They’d be crazy to do that.” He sighs and stretches his arms out, nearly hitting Lucy in the process. This man... he’s very interesting.
“What’s your name?” She asks, meeting olive eyes, and immediately repeats the name that falls from his lips. Natsu. Summer. He’s hired immediately, somehow speeding his way through training - the trained guards are beat easily, dummies knocked over and somehow burnt, and... well, him and Lucy get along well enough, Jude figures.
.
It’s been months since Lucy got her guard, and the two were rarely seen apart; besides nighttime, the two usually walked side-by-side through the castle grounds, idly talking about recent news and upcoming events. Lucy was never seen showing so many emotions, but with Natsu? She seemed like a completely different person. She’d laugh, relax, or even bicker with him whenever he forgot about their plans - the castle workers were glad he was there, really. With Layla still sick, it’d been a while since Lucy smiled so often.
Plus, everyone can tell that Lucy isn’t the only one growing and changing from this experience. Natsu was more reserved at the beginning, not caring to remember anything, but the improvement was obvious now. He’d call Lucy and other workers by name, easily guiding her to and from castle rooms, no longer getting lost in the seemingly endless hallways and garden trails.
No one saw the way Lucy’s smile would soften when the two were alone though, or how she’d lean into his touch whenever he’d stand a step too close. How he’d take her out to the garden at night, watching her expression light up at the clear night sky. Fuck, he never cared about the stars before meeting her, but he could probably find so many in just her eyes. The night sky would never be the same, really.
“Hah?!” Natsu stares, wide-eyed, at the princess in his doorway. It’s late. Way too late, but here Lucy is, standing in front of him - in her pajamas. “Cuddling is NOT part of my job! I think.”
“But... you make me feel safe. That’s your job.” Lucy reminds him, voice gone soft and quiet. She rubs her eyes and yawns, staring up at Natsu’s blank expression. Probably lost in thought, struggling to think the idea over.
“Hmmmgh, okay.” He groans, stepping aside to open his door wider. “But, uh, just this one time.” His room is... surprisingly cleaner than Lucy expected. Besides the papers and notes scattered across his desk, the pulled out chair, and a few clothes left on the floor. She walks around the chair, quickly making her way toward the bed - it’s definitely smaller than her own, with a lot less blankets and pillows, but it still looks comfortable. Besides, with Natsu by her side, she’d surely sleep easily.
Lucy climbs under the blankets, quickly disappearing underneath the few Natsu had on his bed. They're more scratchy than soft, but warm only in the way Natsu was, along with smelling like an old campfire. Natsu sighs from where he stands, but doesn't complain. The light turns off and, a second later, Natsu is pulling the blankets back to slide in next to her. It's warm, safe. When he moves closer to her, she leans against him, burying her face in his neck.
... Natsu gets no sleep that night.

Dancing in the Rain
Summary: Evergreen’s family is hosting a party, and she invites the others. Freed doesn’t know how to dance, but Bixlow’s new friend does.
Notes: VAGUELY mentions ElfEver once! also, I pulled cards from my Oracle deck from this and... got these 2? which was perfect oh my gosh???
[ ORACLE DECK: The winter melts away ; the warmth of my love Spring is blooming. It’s beautiful ]
Dancing in the Rain
Winter is ending; with it, the flowers will come back into bloom, filling the world with colour and rainy weather once again. Freed doesn't mind the rain, the butterflies and fireflies that come out with it. He enjoys the season, actually - plus, his friend Evergreen kept telling him that spring was the season for romance. Maybe, this would be his season.
He wishes on the dandelions he passes, throwing his wishes away to the dandelion seeds, watching the wind carry them away. It’s a silly thing really, but he couldn’t help but to stop and stare at any dandelions he passed. He isn’t sure where he heard the stories, but he’d seen enough children make wishes on them to know how it goes. (Though, the kids often had strange wishes, full of robots or odd creatures. None of them were out here dreaming about romance, he’s sure.)
The winter melts away, and spring blooms in its place. Freed goes out more, hoping love will bloom within the flowers, hoping that the rain won’t drown out his wishes. He visits his friends more, even if Evergreen continues to tease him for struggling to find someone.
“Uuuugh,” Ever groans, laying across the table they sit at, “I have a dumb family event coming up, and I have to bring a partner. Obviously, I can drag along my friends, but - a partner?” She sits up fast, fixing her hair. “Do I invite Elfman?”
“Uh-” Freed stammers, thinking over the question, even though he doesn’t see the exact problem. “Yes?” He asks, uncertain, but Ever seems content with his answer. “Anyways, what about Bixlow?”
“Ah, he’s bringing a friend here. Wants him to join, I guess? They’ll be here…” She pauses, checking her phone. “...soon.” She settles on, and Freed quickly guesses they’re late. It’s not unusual for Bixlow to get lost or forget where they’re meeting, especially if he’s bringing someone along.
The two arrive in another minute, bringing along a bag and some drinks for the group - Freed doesn’t check to see what exactly they’re holding, too distracted by the man standing behind Bixlow. He’s tall. He has short blond hair, and a strange scar going over his face that resembles a lightning bolt. Bixlow introduces the man as Laxus, and the name immediately sticks in Freed’s head. Laxus. He’s kind of… pretty?
“Bixlow. New friend. You’re both invited to the party, of course.” Evergreen nods, adjusting her glasses, “You all have suits? Know how to dance?” She asks, squinting up at Laxus as he nods.
“Ever.” Freed sighs, putting his head in his hands, “I can’t dance.”
“Mhm, remember when Erza tried teachin him? Just spun him in circles!” Bix laughs at the memory, ignoring Freed’s flushed expression.
“Hm,” Laxus clears his throat, setting the bag of food down onto the table. “I could… teach you? I’m not an amazing teacher, but…” He frowns and scratches the back of his neck, avoiding the trio's stares. Freed blinks, wide-eyed, silent for a minute.
“Please do, or else he will step all over my feet.” Evergreen huffs, curiously looking through the bag. “That’s fine, yea? Freed?” She pulls out a muffin and looks back at the green-haired man, raising an eyebrow at him. Freed quickly looks away from Laxus and nods, thankful someone might be patient enough to teach him.
.
They meet again the next weekend, just the two of them, giving proper introductions and getting to know each other while sharing muffins and coffee. Evergreen was apparently easy to convince, and Laxus now knew Freed’s entire order at the group's favorite cafe - Freed wasn’t complaining though.
“So, you three have been friends for a long time then…” Laxus smiles fondly, and the expression surprises Freed. “It’s not weird with me here now, yea?”
Freed quickly shakes his head, eyes wide. “Not at all!” He grins, setting his iced coffee down, “You’re more than welcome to join us. Plus, if you can handle Bixlow, you can handle Ever.” The two laugh, falling into more conversation easily.
It’s not for another week that Laxus meets Freed at the park to practice dancing, finding him relaxing underneath a tree, eyes shut. He assumes Freed’s asleep at first and sits nearby, enjoying the bright sun. It is a nice enough day for this, only a few big clouds out.
“Really pretty, right?” Freed asks, watching Laxus. “It’s been raining for a while now. I'm glad it stopped for today." Laxus turns toward him, and their eyes meet. There's an expression Freed can't read, but it's quickly replaced with a nervous smile.
"Well, let's dance?" Laxus pushes himself to stand, brushing any dirt off of his pants. "If you're ready to, anyways. Just, watch my feet." He jokes, pulling Freed to stand also, and - Freed has to remind himself to breathe for a minute, not expecting Laxus to be so strong. They stand together, Laxus placing one hand on Freed's shoulder, the other sliding down to hold his hip, and Freed thinks he's really going to die now. There's no way he'll survive this dance.
They practice easy steps at first; forward, right, back, left, repeat. Spin slowly, watching where they’re moving, trying to avoid stepping on each others feet. It becomes easier over time, the stepping, the spinning. Time melts into quick steps and easy laughter, uncaring even when the clouds grow darker.
Thunder crackles, and the rain falls quick. Freed stumbles, falls into Laxus, and there's strong arms holding onto him. His face flushes a deep red, but he makes no move to pull away.
"Do you wanna go to this event... together?" He asks, craning his head to look up at Laxus. The other hums, smiles down at him, and nods. Spring love blossoms with a dance.
Maybe dandelions work after all?

If you're still taking requests, one of my all time OTPs Loke x Cana, modern day AU with this prompt “I lied - this is apple juice, not whisky. I’m trying to impress you, basically.” From the Blog DailyAU
• "I lied - this is apple juice, not whisky. I'm trying to impress you, basically." From @DailyAU •
.
Cana was a familiar face at the Fairy Bar - a regular, and most people there recognized her by now. It's the only bar around she's comfortable visiting every night, especially with how safe it is. A lot of the regulars there knew eachother, and outsiders usually got scared away with some of the chaos.
Tonight, there's an unfamiliar face sitting by the bar. Natsu glares from further down, trying to figure out if the guy's alright or not, but Cana ignores the two and sits nearby.
"Ignore him," There's Gray's voice, coming from near the new guy. "He's a bit dumb. Thought you've been here before, Loke?"
"I have been, but just a few times. I haven't properly met Natsu, yet." The man, Loke, explains. He sighs and sets down his drink, looking around at everyone.
Cana meets his eyes for a second before he turns away, requesting a new drink from the bartender.
"Hey! You, with the beer!" He calls to her, waving her closer to them, "Wanna join?"
Cana laughs, quickly grabbing her tall glass of beer and moving to sit by the two. An invitation to drink? She'd never pass that up! Especially if she could win any drinking contest held - she's about to out-drink both of these idiots.
"Hell yeah. Gray, I like your friend! Smart guy!" She laughs, finishing off her glass before requesting more.
Their drinks come, and the trio falls into easy conversation while finishing glass after glass. Cana learns that Loke and Gray are old friends and just got back in touch; of course, Gray's idea of getting Loke out more is... taking him to Gray's favorite bar. It doesn't surprise Cana.
Loke finishes his drinks easily. The small glass looks maybe like whiskey, but he doesn't struggle much finishing them off. This surprises her.
Cana, for some reason, learns that Loke is single and bi. Gray jokes, saying he's on standbi, while Cana just says that's she's the same.
"Single?"
"Single and bi."
.
Time passes. Gray's stopped drinking after a bit, beginning to stumble over his words and slur them together, but Cana keeps going. She's messing up her sentences, laughing at a lot of strange things, growing more tired.
"Canaaa, you gotta... you gotta put th' drink down. Issa new game." Gray tries, squinting at her, but Cana only giggles.
"Yeah, maybe you two need to go home soon?" Loke asks with a frown, which earns a glare from Cana. She huffs, poking his face.
"Why're you- you're still goin'! But you're fine!" She hums, jabbing a finger into Loke's cheek.
"Ah." Loke softly laughs, moving Cana's hand away from his face, "I lied? This is apple juice, not whiskey. I was trying to impress you, I guess."
"Impress... me?" Cana blinks, thinking over what the man said. Yeah, he did request something before inviting her over. Could've been apple juice. Which is easy to drink.
"Aw, I can't outdrink apple juice..."

•SHIP: Gruvia•
The war with Alvarez is still fresh in everyones minds, even after the battles are long over. Everyone had nearly lost something, after all. Their master, a loved one, a close friend... even their first master.
The fight with Invel never leaves Gray's head; it rests there in the back of his memories, only to surface whenever he tries to sleep. Nightmares. He'd had them ever since the battle ended, ever since he nearly lost Juvia - instead of easy rest, he only saw her body there, nearly dead. Of course, he rests well when they're together, but it's harder when she has to leave for a mission.
"Juvia made you a gift, Gray-sama!" The girl announces, hiding a large box behind her back. "Juvia hopes you'll like the gift... it really was difficult to make." She's nervous, a bit hesitant while giving him the box, but he's quick to unwrap it anyways. Whatever it may be, Juvia surely has given him something more strange- though, nothing will beat the Gray cookies he ate before...
He shudders at the memory and quickly opens the box, hoping it's not something too strange. But when he reaches in, it's soft; plush, smooth fabric, two button eyes, a handmade outfit.
Gray pulls a Juvia plush out of the box.
"Tadah! It's a doll of Juvia for you to sleep with!" Juvia explains, grinning, seeming proud of herself. The idea, the creation, all handmade by herself. Gray admires her, really, but...
"Ah, thank you. Isn't it a bit... embarrassing, though?" He asks, avoiding eye contact with Juvia or the Juvia doll, a faint blush rising to his face. Really, a grown man sleeping with a doll for nightmares! "I mean, it is really cool though!"
"Hmm... well, Juvia did work hard on this, so Gray-sama shouldn't throw it out!" She laughs at this, knowing he wouldn't. After all, the bandaids covering her fingers alone would make him feel guilty if he got rid of it. She really did work hard on the gift, and does only mean well.
Juvia leaves for another mission that morning, leaving Gray alone in their shared home. He'd been sleeping less, training more, experimenting with the devil slaying powers, and so... he's tired. But having Juvia so far away, where he doesn't know if she's okay - that battle comes to his mind again and he shudders, telling himself that she's okay. She's just on a mission. She'll be back in a day.
But he's so tired, and his eyes fall on that Juvia plush.
...if she asks, he'll just say it's soft. That's all. It's soft, it smells like rain and the ocean, and it reminds him of her. That's all.
And, yknow, maybe he falls asleep really easily while holding onto it. But he surely didn't have to tell her that.

Natsu x Lucy :D [Natsu gets jealous over Lucy, thinking about how Jude was planning on marrying her off to Duke Sawarr and the members of the guild- Mira, Cana, Gildarts, Gray, Erza, Juvia, Wendy, Happy tease him for it]
•op im fucking up this prompt a bit bc this is SO MANY details and chars omg /nm•
•SHIP: nalu•
.
It'd been hectic ever since the group had returned home from that island ; everyone got so focused on reunions, training to cstch up, and preparing for the magic games.
Others were still stuck grieving the years lost, the opportunities missed. Alzack and Bisca's wedding, Macao being new guild leader, Romeo growing up...
Jude Heartfilia's death.
He wasn't a great father. Wasn't even good, really - always brushing aside Lucy's identity and wants to put himself first, even using her for money once.
"I mean, really, he even tried arranging me to marry some guy I met one time! It's rediculous... right? So... why am I still sad?" She asks Natsu when they're back at the guild, sitting at one of the few old tables. Natsu and Happy stay close to her for some time, not knowing how to help besides being there.
What could they say, anyways? Neither could truly understand her pain, but it seemed she couldn't either with the complicated mix of emotions. Sad that he's gone, while also not denying how terrible he was...
Natsu sighs and lays his head on the table, resting since Lucy had gone home for the night. He thinks over the events, trying to think of who he could get advice from, but--
Wait.
Arranged marriage? Lucy?
Natsu sits up suddenly, a strange feeling coiling in his chest. Hot lava simmers and bubbles there, threatening to spill over. He holds it back, confused, uncertain. Why was he so upset over an arranged marriage anyways? He wouldn't care that much if it was someone else like Gray, but... somehow, Lucy was different.
"Lucy was gonna get married?" He asks Mira eventually, when the lava stops bubbling. She'd be best to visit for advice, no matter the situation.
"Ah, yeah! I believe her father was arranging one for money, no?" She explains it easily, as if it's a normal story. "Why? Did something happen?"
"No, no... I just..." Natsu frowns, looking down at the glass in Mira's hands. Fire crackles in his ears. "I don't like that."
From a few seats over, Cana howls in laughter, staring at the two. "No wonder!" She snickers, slamming her empty cup on the counter. "You're always at her side! Geez, get together already!"
"Together?" He asks with a tilt of his head, staring blank at Cana.
"Ah," she goes silent, her laughter quieting down. "What, I thought you like her? Romantically, I mean."
"Like... Lucy?" Natsu hums, thinking over the idea. Was he always by her side? Yeah. Was he upset when she was far away? Also yeah. Did he wanna be by her side forever? Yep, big check mark there. "Oh shit. I like Lucy."
Cana laughs again, slamming a fist on the counter. "He didn't even know!" She wheezes, pointing at the man. "Hah! Mira, he didn't know!"
Oh fuck.
He likes Lucy.

Hello!! Can I request a Fraxus AU thing with Freed as pirate captain and Laxus as merman? 🥰
•SHIP: fraxus• •AU: mermaids•
.
How someone so young became captain of a ship, noone knows. But Evergreen and Bixlow follow Freed without question, listening to his every idea and command.
"A mermaid?" Evergreen laughs though, pointing at the image on the poster. "That's insane! There's no way it's real!"
"That's why we're going to find it." Freed sighs, explaining his idea for the fifth time. "See, there's blurry photos and areas it was found. And if we capture it, we'll be rich."
"Oh?" The laughter finally calms, "Rich, you say? Well, then... I guess I'll have to help you, hmm?" She jokes as if there was an option, as if she'd considered not helping. They all knew she wouldn't; the three have been together ever since they first met.
So, they set sail, searching near some empty islands where the mermaid was found. Freed steers the ship, Evergreen stays on lookout, and Bixlow prepares nets to catch it.
"Everything's ready," Bixlow calls from where he stands, looking over the edge of the ship with nets in his hands. "Seen anything?"
"Nothin, but there's rain clouds ahead." Evergreen sighs, sitting on some wooden boxes, bored. The sea and the islands are empty, no other ships around. Nothing but their tiny crew, and the storm clouds only coming closer.
Rain begins to fall, and the wind threatens to push them off course. Other crewmates struggle to hold onto the right ropes, drifting the ship to stop at an empty island.
"We'll wait the storm out," Freed announces, looking out into the dark ocean. "If this mermaid's real, it probably will avoid the storm too. If we wait, there might be a chance to-" He gets cut off by thunder, deep and rumbling, with lightning striking in the distance.
Bixlow hums from where he stands at the edge, curious, tugging on the rope of his net.
"Somethin' got caught."
.
Freed sees the golden tail first, bright even in the darkness of the storm. The mermaid shifts and growls, rope digging into his chest uncomfortably. And his chest... Freed looks up, face turned a deep shade of red, and meets the mermaids eyes. Hazel.
"Holy shit," Evergreen points, eyes wide. "It's actually real! Look at that!"
"Mmhm." Bixlow nods, looking over the mermaid. "Could sell photos... better than the blurry ones."
"Ah," Freed sputters, mouth suddenly dry, "No- no. We shouldn't, um... sell this." He turns away, rubbing the back of his neck. "I mean... hm, if we do... He'll get hunted and killed, no?"
If they sold photos of the mermaid, it'd surely become a quest of who could capture him first. Him and his golden tail, or even tearing off scales from it... Freed frowns at the thought, even though it was his original quest too. But this mermaid, seeing him there - something changes.
Freed can't hurt him.
"What's your name?" He crouches down to look at the ropes, pulling on them until they wouldn't dig into the man so much. "You must have one, right?"
"...Laxus." The mermaid- merman? Laxus... says, glaring at the crewmates around. "So, you're not gonna kill me?" He laughs at the idea, a deep sound that causes Freed's face to flush pink again.
"Well, no-"
"You were saved by this guy's massive crush on you. How ya feel?" Evergreen grins, leaning over to stare down at the two, and Freed lightly hits her side for the teasing.
"I don't-!" Freed groans, hiding his red face behind his hands. "Well! Either way! He can stay on the ship. Others will hunt for him out here, so..." he sighs, gesturing to the ropes. "He'll need a case? A big one."
"Aw, that's our Freed. Can't hurt the poor guy cause he's alive and very pretty."

fantasy gratsu where gray is a knight and natsu is a dragon :D
•SHIP: Gratsu• •AU type: fantasy•
.
There's a dragon that lives in the mountains. A big red one, cursed with the power of flames, and noone who goes to defeat it ever returns unharmed. Princess Hisui had sent out many jobs to get rid of the dragon; quests for knights and anyone brave enough to go, offering a reward that only rised higher and higher. Some of the people return with photos, or stories that spread with songs. Bards tell their tales, warning any who dares to gather their bravery.
Gray Fullbuster is a rising knight for the kingdom - he'd been training under his father, Silver, for years to take down all types of monsters. Strange beasts, demons, maybe even a dragon.
(Of course, Silver would only joke about that. After all, a dragon is much bigger than Deliora, and it took years for Silver to slay that demon.)
There's a man who lives in the mountains. A Bard strums their tale, sitting alone outside the bar. There's a man who lives alone in the mountains, said he was cursed with flames; his hometown and family had all been burned, and so a beast took him away.
Eventually, Gray's training comes to an end. Silver has nothing left to teach him, no more ways of attacks to show. And so, Gray is left to review everything he knew, day after day. That reward still rises, and the bards tale echoes in his thoughts.
"Is there truth to that story?" he asks one day while the two are walking together, heading towards the mountain, quest posters in hand. "That there's a man near the dragon?"
"Don't know. I'm the only one who knows and spreads this story, so... hahah, who knows!" The man shrugs, adjusting his guitar and combing a hand through his orange hair. "It's something I read in a book. An old book about different tales - all told in old languages!"
Gray hums, staring up at the mountains ahead. Old stories are usually myths or legends, but some are born from truth.
The mountains break into a clearing- a field full of grass, a waterfall with a pond surrounded by rocks, and an old cabin. No dragon in sight, though they should've followed the map perfectly.
"Where is the dragon?" Gray frowns, crumpling up the quest poster. "It's supposed to be here."
"The map says-" The bard starts, but a low sound stops him. "Gray," He whispers, urgent, frantically gesturing to the old home.
It's door was slowly opening.
A man steps outside, stretching. He has salmon pink hair, and wears only an old pair of shorts and a strange scarf. His hands look burnt, turning black at the fingertips, but his nails are a deep shade of red. Everything about the man seems... odd. Wrong, almost.
"There really is someone here!" The bard laughs, pointing, "I told everyone, and-"
"Loke," Gray shakes his head, grabbing the man and dragging him back a few steps. "Stay back."
The man turns, notices them, and hums a deep rumbling sound. It shakes the air, which suddenly feels hotter, and even the waterfalls pond was now beginning to boil and steam up.
"Are you here to kill me?" The man growls, stepping back from the two. "A knight... here at my house. Gonna take my head? For your King?"
His house? But the map didn't have this clearing, didn't have a house. And they're looking for the dragon, not...
Oh.
"You're the dragon." There's no question to it. Gray steps forward, pausing when the man backs away more. "It's the same story... the man stolen by a beast, the dragon out here alone."
"So you know me." The dragon looks between the two, curious, "Are you not here to kill me?" He hums in thought, eyes widening at a new idea. "Oh! You're here to be friends?!"
"Hell no!" Gray shouts, face flushing. Really, the dragon is surprisingly... an idiot! Out here alone, requesting knights sent to kill him be his friends, and very... pretty. He sighs, setting his sword on the ground. "You're right, though. I can't kill you."
"Yeah, so we'll be friends! My name's Natsu!"
"I'm Loke!" Gray stares at the two, watching them shake hands. Well. Guess they're both stupid. "Sorry Gray, I'm friends with the dragon now."
"What the fuck."
"Gray!" Natsu grins, holding a hand out for him too. "Not friends? Hmmm... oh, you wanna go on a date then!"
"HUH?!" Gray chokes and coughs, his face red. "No no no! Not that either!"
"Waaaait, please go on a date with the dragon, I can make so many stories from it!" Loke laughs, nudging Gray's side.
They're really both stupid then.

Could you continue the LoLu Hanahaki AU but with fluff? 👀((signed from your very dear angst lolu anon, sparkles ✨ ))
•SHIP: Loke x Lucy• •AU type: hanahaki•
.
It'd been a few weeks since the café job, and the flowers had only gotten worse. Of course, Loke didn't mind. He'd made up his mind and decided that he could die choking on flowers - anything to keep loving Lucy.
She invites him on more jobs, normal requests, small missions. He still hides blue flower petals, hates the pain when he chokes on them.
.
They're walking through the forest together, searching for a vulcan.
"So, there's a vulcan that's been stealing from some people nearby," Lucy explains, reading from the job poster. "We've been requested to find and defeat--" she stops, coughs, and brushes away a pink flower petal. "- Defeat it. Sorry."
"You, uh..." Loke stares, wide-eyed, at the pink. There's so many questions he wanted to ask - who? Why? But he points, laughs, and says "Flowers, huh?"
.
Lucy's was quickly getting worse. She doesn't try to hide it, doesn't ignore it. Just brushes away flower petals as if they're nothing, apologizes, and continues with whatever task she's doing. Loke admires it.
"You should just ask whatever guy's causing this out, yknow." They're sitting at a table in the guild, Loke looking around at the other members. "I mean, I doubt whoever it is would reject you." Except Natsu. He probably didn't know a thing about love, and Loke couldn't recall ever seeing him spit up flowers. Please don't be Natsu.
"Yeah?" Lucy laughs, following Loke's eyes. She finds Natsu standing on a table nearby, loudly telling some story about Happy and fire. "What about..." please don't be Natsu "... you?"
"...huh?" Loke chokes, shocked, and quickly brushes a blue flower off the table. "Wait, wait, you're kidding."
"I'm not. You takin back your word and rejecting me, Leo?" She jokes, meeting his eyes.
"No! No, I'd- I'd love to take you out. On a date." He flushes, nervous suddenly, but there's no flowers. No pain, no blue petals, just... love.
She really wasn't joking.
