•someone requested Graytear with a huge sprinkle of angst. I ended up writing this AU, but idk if its enough angst, so I am not posting it as a reply to the person, but posting it on its own!•
•AU where Ultear is in Tartaros and Gray has his devil slayer magic - but she’s how she was around her Lost Ages scene, with not knowing her own worth or self, or if she was good or evil. so there’s unrequited love, back and forth bickering, and the whole “You’re a devil slayer, im a devil, come kill me” kinda???•
•AU: Devil & Devil Slayer•     •Ship: Graytear•
After meeting and facing his father, Gray really shouldn’t be surprised anymore. He understands Sabertooth’s shock at meeting their old master and his daughter, he sees Juvia’s pain for defeating the necromancer who had used his father, but - nothing, none of it, could have prepared him for this. But, here she is, Ultear standing in front of him. She’s different, somehow, and yet still reminds him of that same person he’d met on Tenroujima - broken, alone, just her and the world. Like a shell of a person, who can’t figure out their own self or worth.
“Huh. I wonder what your mother would think of this?” He sighs, gesturing to her fingertips stained black, the horns atop her head, one broken and dripping a dark ink. “Really, now... you can come back home with us. Let’s go back to Fairy Tail, or Crime Sorcière.”
“Hah!” Ultear laughs, pulling a floating orb towards her, “Back home? Don’t you get it?! I can’t go back now!” She throws it towards him, but it smashes against his ice shield, the separate parts flying back to her to reform. “I can’t... I can’t go back now.” She laughs weaker, voice gone soft. There’s no fight in her. No will, no want - no purpose. She stands here, empty, and still pushes herself to fight. For what? There’s nothing left, and she’d clearly left her guild for this.
“You still can. We don’t have to fight. I’ll bring you home to Jellal and Meredy, okay?” Gray knows he’s asking too much. He knows she won’t listen, or that she won’t even hear him. Still, his hope refuses to waver - not now, not ever. He’d always hope that she could recover from her past, that she could finally smile with friends, or even just stand by his side. He cared for her, after all. Maybe even loved her. And now, it all seems too late. Nothing could reach her, now.
“I told you.” She sighs, expression oddly blank. “There’s no use. I was ready to end someone’s life with these hands. I’m really still a witch who doesn’t think twice about murdering someone... something like that, I can’t come back from.” Something in the air shifts, and Gray watches in awe as her black-tipped fingers freeze over with frost, the ice spreading to the burnt trees around them, to the ground - frozen paths, all leading towards Gray. Underneath him, the ground grows, and he quickly dodges as where he once stood explodes, vines and flowers made of ice erupting.
“No, no, you can. You can come back.” Gray shouts, dodging the ice vines being thrown towards him. He jumps away from frozen flowers, and still, still, never attacks back. He knows she won’t stop, he knows she won’t give up. “Please. There’s people who care about you, who don’t want this for you.”
“Don’t you get it?” Ultear growls, summoning blocks of ice that bloom out towards Gray, trying to hit him. “I don’t deserve to live! You’re a devil slayer, aren’t you? Here I am, a devil, right in front of you! Fight back!”
She keeps attacking, never acknowledging the people around her, the ones who were there. Jellal, Meredy, Gray - they’re really frozen away in her memories, so she sees nothing else but the darkness. There’s no time to grieve. Ice vines keep growing around him, covered in purple thorns. Because even a beautiful rose has thorns.

What is the most underrated ship in your opinion?
oh gosh, I want to say my otp but canonically speaking…
it would have to be Graytear, Lolu, or Yusui (yukino x Hisui). I feel like they all have their individual potentials in canon universe but even more so for the heartbreak and yearning they can convey. Not that everything has to end in angst!! But when I began watching FT many years ago, I thought so many people would appreciate these ships as much as the Big4. There’s so many plotlines that could have fit. (for example, Yukino joining Hisui’s royal guard for that short period of time) But these are also just my most nostalgic ships from FT too. I’m just rambling but yeah these are all just oozing potential!

I'm Still Thinking About Ships and Zervis After All These Years
[tfw you miss the anniversary of the post... by several months]
HAH! You thought I was just hating on Juvia for no reason with my last one. (It wasn’t even that bad.)
Nope!
This is a series of things I want to do. I hope you don't mind that this is the second time to date I've reused this intro. Honestly, this might be one of my favorite intros to any post. The only one that tops it is starting with the conclusion in another post. (You know the one.)
Even then, this post has a special place in my heart. Over the past [EIGHT] years I've been on this blog, I've had to talk a lot about the ships. Part of it is willingly entering certain discussions. Part of it was ending up in the middle of certain fights. (I've learned not to pick fights with people.) This was my first real foray into talking about the ships to a meaningful length.
Overall, I've come to realize that Tumblr is a very ship-heavy site. Much of the discussions involving any series or topic involve ships. I used to think this was only Fairy Tail fans, but a lot of people have these issues. Almost every moderately active fandom on Tumblr has a vibrant (note: not necessarily healthy) emphasis on shipping. For what it's worth, Fairy Tail has also had its fair share of shipping wars.
So I've heard.
I don't have the same horror stories that so many other people have. I started this blog near the time that the series was ended. A lot of the shipping drama was long settled. A few months into starting this blog, there was some drama caused by some Graylu shipper who was causing beef with the Gruvia fandom. But a lot of the back-and-forth with shipping didn't affect me when I made the original post.
And then, there was the University of Gruvia.
I have to be careful when describing this, especially considering the number of people I know involved with this on both sides. I want to provide a fair assessment of this. Especially being on my side of the Gruvia debate. Luckily, I've done this several times for Gruvia already.
There was a desire among Gruvia fans to share love and information involving the ship with others. This was to manifest itself in a fan university of sorts with fan experts and actual teachers working to educate fans. Concerns came from two different places. Some fans were worried that this would cause more fights with people who didn't agree with them. I was part of the fans who thought that other shipping fandoms should get some shine and recognition first.
If you haven't heard about the University of Gruvia, that's because it didn't get off the ground. Part of it was because another group of fans set up a parody University of Graylu. There were some disputes over fans signing up for one to set the other up. The details were handled outside of my sphere.
Two big things came from it, as far as I'm concerned. I did get called out as a salty Graytear fan by some Gruvia shippers. Even though I didn't particularly hate the idea at the time. I just wanted a week for Albis. (Another rant for another day) My rationale was that whatever arguments Gruvia fans would come up with would become so mainstream it would be easy to deal with the fandom, by knocking out the ideas all at once. I still stand by that, though I get the concern others had about empowering toxic fans.
That leads to the second. I've become averse to talking about the ship. I'll talk about Nalu for any reason I feel like it. I don't handle Gruvia the same way. I am more careful not to do a lot to piss Gruvia fans off. I've noticed that the Gruvia fandom is very protective of the ship from people who disagree. (Occasionally to ironic results.) Fairy Tail is the only series in which I have a relationship with the ships I do. You all know me for not loving the big ships and being involved in smaller ships for characters. I still get kudos and comments on a story involving Laxus and Juvia, of all pairings. A lot of the appeal of the ships I don't like is lost on me. I can make arguments for them, but I don't buy any of it.
However, Fairy Tail is the only series where this is the case. I've mentioned liking Naruhina and Ichihime. But those are fairly popular among fans of their respective series. At the very least, the majority of the fandom knows why people like them. Every once in a while, a series will come where I don't love the main ships. Like, I don't love most of the big ships in RWBY, but I get why people like them. Fairy Tail is the only series where I'm actively going against the grain, in regards to shipping.
Unlike that other post about Juvia, I don't have much to say about my opinions changing. Most of what I said in that post is what I feel about the ships in general now. Like whatever you want and don't be shocked if some crazy stuff ends up becoming canon.
Though, I do need to talk about the other focus of this post. When the original post came out, it wasn't too long after chapter 450. If you don't remember, that was the chapter that confirmed a previous relationship between Zervis. While I already intended to talk about the ships as my next topic, it felt perfect to use Zervis as the lens to talk about ships.
It's not an understatement to say that fandom was going ballistic at the time. A lot of people following me probably weren't fans of the series when these chapters came out. You need to understand that, before the Alvarez Empire arc, Zervis was mere speculation. It was an idea based on one chapter of the main series and a few interactions during ZERO. Like much of Mashima's work, it makes sense in hindsight. However, this wasn't a ship taken seriously by fans until it became canon.
Honestly, I'd argue that fans made it a bigger deal than it probably needed to be because of their history. This isn't on Mashima for revealing it as late as he did. It made sense to reveal what happened between them when he did.
Take a step back and think about how much Zervis matters. No doubt, it's an important connection between two of the most influential characters in the series. It also serves as a driving force for the last arc of the series. Its resolution (somewhat?) redeems one of the main villains of the series. I will not deny any of those things.
But let's compare this to Jerza. Jellal and Erza are more influential characters. The connection between them is shown for longer in the series, both before and after the Alvarez Empire arc. This isn't even noting the ways that their relationship, directly and indirectly, affects the main events of numerous arcs. The romance between the two has been far better built up to what we see now in the sequel.
And this isn't even to mention the most important relationship in the series: Nalu. I'm not going to call it a romantic masterpiece. However, this isn't the first time I've noted that their relationship makes Fairy Tail what it is as a series. Nearly everything that happens in the series happens because these two work together. That's before we go into how either of them is either directly or indirectly involved in and/or responsible for major events in every arc.
One unfortunate thing that has become a point of discussion has been the potential claims of pedophilia on the ship. I dealt with this idea in rewriting Fairy Tail, but I want to repeat myself quickly. As I interpret the ship, Mashima's done too much to make the ship feel skeevy. Still, I don't think the ship is pedophilic.
In Conclusion:
Shipping is fun, but their fandoms can be crazy. Please enjoy both responsibly.
Also, don't ask me about the Zervis age gap.

Graytear
who’s the cuddler: Ultear. She loves to feel Gray’s muscles.
who makes the bed: Ultear. Gray tosses the covers like he does his clothes.
who wakes up first: Gray. He likes to start his training early.
who has the weird taste in music: Ultear. Travelling across the country means you pick up a few things.
who is more protective: Both are about as equally protective of each other.
who sings in the shower: Ultear. Gray caught her one time and never lets her live it down. Though he does like her voice.
who cries during movies: Neither. They find romance movies boring and both laugh at horror movies.
who spends the most while out shopping: They don’t really go shopping that much. Ultear is still paranoid since she used to be a fugitive and Gray tosses all his clothes anyway.
who kisses more roughly: Ultear.
who is more dominate: Ultear.
my rating of the ship from 1-10: 7/10 This is honestly my ideal ship for both of them.
Ask Me More!

Abominable [WotD #4]
Pairing: GrayTear Words: 318
@newgeht asked for some graytear, so here it is! I’ve never written Ultear in my life. Oops. There’s a first for everything.
Ultear looked on in disgust at the monstrosity Gray was creating. She usually didn’t have nightmares, but she was lambast certain she was living in one, based on what she was looking at.
“What… are you doing?” she finally asked. She wasn’t the least bit surprised that Gray was only in his boxers despite the snow being past his ankles. It was what he was doing in the snow that disturbed her.
Gray looked up from the mounds of misshapen snow in front of him, looking to Ultear before looking back down to his creation. “Making a snowman.” He shrugged. Wasn’t it obvious?
“That’s a snowman?” Ultear raised an eyebrow at him as she began trudging through the snow. “In what universe is that considered a snowman?” For a mage who worked with ice, Ultear would’ve thought the man would be able to make a decent snowman. Sure, they were different mediums, but still. The thing in front of her was definitely not a snowman. It was lopsided and barely holding together, and it had lumps in all the wrong places.
“Oi, there’s nothing wrong with it!” Gray defended himself. Granted, he’d never actually built a snowman before, but he’d woken up that morning, seen all the snow from the previous night, and had the urge to build a snowman.
“Darling, that thing is an abomination.”
“Then it’s an abominable snowman.”
Ultear blinked, and Gray blinked back at her, his words quickly dawning on him. Never had Ultear heard something so ridiculous come out of his mouth. Now she really was convinced she was in a nightmare. “Did you just say it was an abominable snowman?”
Gray quickly turned away, his cheeks dusting with pink as he grabbed a handful of snow to begin shaping it. “No.” Damn it. Perhaps he’d been spending too much time with Meredy and Natsu. They were wearing off on him after all.

— the wolf
"everyone knows I am going to hell, and if it's true, i'll go there with you."
She hated him. He had taken everything away from her, even her place in her mother's heart. How, didn't matter. He, they, had replaced her and as she stood mere meters away from her once loving mother, all she could think was... unforgiveable. How could she? How could he? How dare he take her place? He already had his mother, so why in the world would he take hers too? Unforgiveable. He had taken something indescribably precious, and he would pay. She would become a villain, she would take away his irreplaceable.
She knew he was here on the island, but her acting skills had greatly improved since that day when he had taken it all. So as she cornered him again, as he asked about her mother, that word echoed in her mind. She loathed this man. He would never be her family. Not after he had taken her mother away. He didn't deserve family. He didn't deserve forgiveness. He didn't deserve love. So she would take every ounce of family, forgiveness, love that he thought he had and she would show him what he truly deserved.
Iced Shell.
That was the plan's name.
As they fought, she took a smug satisfaction at every pained noise he made. She felt that hatred deep inside feeding away at every glint of sadness, grief and pain that enterred his eyes. That was what he deserved. Agony. And that was what she was going to paint his world with.
She wasn't a perfect person, but if she could drag this man into hell, then she would be perfectly happy to descend alongside him.

16, 23, and 49: Merik, sterza, and graytear in that order 👀
So I had a ton of fun writing these! Especially the Sterza one, medieval AUs always give me life. Cutting it off after the Merik, otherwise thise post will be super long LMAO
Merik - “We aren’t even friends!”
“We aren’t even friends!” Erik growled out, pulling his arm from Meredy. “Now leave me alone, will you?” He took a sip of his bleach cocktail, very uninterested in the maguility mage. They were supposed to be scoping this dingy place out and as always, the maguility mage took things too far.
She was very drunk and very annoying, two things that shouldn’t be combined. “That’s not what you said last night,” she hiccuped, inching closer to him.
Erik sputtered and clasped his hand over Meredy’s mouth. In a low hiss, he whispered into her ear, “Watch your tongue, candy. I’m not in the mood to put up with this shit right now.” He shifted so no one could see them. He could barely see under the dim lights of the bar, but it didn’t mean that no one was watching.
He could feel her lithe tongue against his hand and he let go, wiping her saliva on her sleeve. Her blue eyes were dreamy, her body swaying to the beat. “Ok, ok. But you know Jelly said to keep an eye on me. And all you’ve been interested in is that putrid drink in front of you.” She sloppily gestured to the tonic.
But she was wrong. His single eye was always on her. And if he wasn’t, he was always hiding in the outskirts of her mind.
Sterza -“I will beat the title of ‘prince’ right the hell out of you!”
Erza was furious. This was the last time she would let Sting out of her sight. Anytime they were in public, he managed to slip away from her grasp. His escape always led him to trouble, whether it be with girls or getting into a fight.
She believed that as his bodyguard, (escort, or whatever you’d like to call it) she was supposed to be on duty until the king released her. And yet, she wished she could be kicked from this job. It was too much to look after the Prince of Fiore. And he wasn’t much fun to hang around either.
“Sting!” She called out, holding her hand over her mouth. “I will beat the title of ‘prince’ right the hell out of you! Get back here right this instant!”
A pair of hands were placed over her eyes and she fumed. Now was not the time to be playing games, “Remove your hands from my sight, you scoundrel.”
Though the body didn’t listen, Erza could feel her stomach drop ten stories. What a pervert! In one fell swoop, she turned and smashed her steel gloved hand against a familiar head of blonde hair.
“Ow!” Sting groaned, holding his head. “I was only trying to have some fun, princess of knights.” He teased, a familiar toothy grin growing on his face. “Lighten up a little, will ya? No one’s ever gonna give you a kiss if you act like this.”
At the mention of a kiss, Erza blushed. She couldn’t help it, but romantic affairs always made her so flustered. “I-I’ve gotten a kiss before. Don’t assume such things.”
Another thing, she was very bad at lying. She squirmed when Sting came closer, eyeing her with those sparkling blue eyes.
His toothy grin flared into a devious grin. “Oh yeah, then show me. Your future king demands it.”
He brought his face closer, puckering his lips obnoxiously. And the knight couldn’t help herself, she smacked him with her iron gauntlet. A third strike and Sting would have been down for the count.
He stumbled back, rubbing his face. “I should have expected that.”
“No kidding,” she said curtly. “Now, we have things to complete before the sun falls. No more games, prince.”
“Ugh… Being a prince is too much work.” He laughed his rejection off, but little did she know he would keep trying.
Graytear - “I’m begging you.”
He never expected Crime Sorciere to show up to the GMGs or be a part of the aftermath. Mostly because he didn’t want to see her. That violet haired woman, the daughter of his caretaker -Ultear. Her red orbs haunting him, following him into darkest fantasies or most joyous dreams. It infuriated him how much she was in his thoughts.
Gray had thought he would never see her after Tenrou, but here she was; fighting annoying dragon babies. These miniature versions of the real dragons kept coming in wave after wave. He was losing stamina, and he didn’t think he would last much longer. But Ultear kept him going, he couldn’t see her go down by them.
But then they got separated, Gray had been in search of Ultear ever since he noticed. But the more he looked, the more he felt time was running out for their sake.
“Ultear,” he called, his throat raw from yelling. The current commotion wasn’t in his throat’s favor, he ripped through those loud explosions and fights going on around him.
Was it possible, she got crushed by falling debris? He shook his head, stepping over rubble. That wasn’t possible, someone so strong would never receive that fate. Gripping his necklace, he prayed that it wouldn’t happen -that he would see the dark haired beauty one more time.
Rounding a corner, he could see the outline of a figure kneeling amongst the fallen walls of various buildings. “Ultear?” His voice a crisp whisper.
She stirred, those signature white bows glistening in the given light. He felt lighthearted to see her once again, hastily making his was through the crushed terrain. “I thought you… What happened?…” She looked past him, not focusing on him. “Are you ok?”
“Gray!” With a flick of her wrist, everything slowed. Hope had shone in those red eyes, but he knew he couldn’t be saved.
A burning sensation could be felt against his bare back, sending small waves of his pain. But then it became more concentrated, that searing heat coming drawn to his abdomen. Then it spread through him, his stomach torn from the beam of energy that him. A shot of blue escaping from his insides, blood spewing everywhere.
It felt like a lifetime as his body fell to the floor, he was dying. Ultear made quick work of those draconic-creatures, falling to her knees. “Gray,” she pulled his hand over the gaping hole, tears already rushing down her face. “Freeze it, please. We can fix this,” she sobbed.
But he wouldn’t comply, his magic reserves were gone. He grunted as he tried, not one drop of magic left. He wished he could see her smiling again, Gray didn’t want to see Ultear in a state such as this. “Go, Ultear. Go help everyone else, I’m just one person.”
She shook her head, pulling him into her lap. Everything began to go dark at that moment, the world becoming fuzzy. All he could see was light, bright and warm. Though screams of terror rung in his ears, and the sobbing of Ultear.
As he fell away, he could feel a greater power being drawn to him. Something from the bounds in which he could control. And from there everything reversed.
The next thing he knew, he awoke in a hospital bed. Those he called family, watching over his state. But he was just with Ultear, wasn’t he? He was supposed to be dead, unless everyone else succumbed to the dragons.
They were in relief to see him awake. Once he had eaten, they explained they found him unconscious on the battlefield, next to a white ribbon.
His window of reality was shattered in that moment. She did exactly what Ur did, sacrificed herself for him. But he couldn’t accept the fact, Gray was lost.
His time had ended with her.

Natsu Ship Tier List
I said I like a lot of ships with Natsu before. I've also seen a lot of pairings for Natsu from others on AO3 and FF.net. Let's be more specific as we rank them from worst to best.
Of course, before we get too far into this...
Lucy Tier
This tier is a throwback to the post that inspired this one.
Natsu and Lucy
It sucks and I hate it.
Let's move on.
Bottom Tier
This tier exists because I decided to look up several different ships for this tier list.
Natsu and Igneel
There's just about one thing worse than the incestuous vibes this one gives. The mental image of this happening. Yeesh.
Natsu and Gildarts
This one is helped by the fact that it's not involving a human and dragon relationship. That's it.
Natsu and Wendy
The real reason this fails for me is that Wendy absolutely sees Natsu as an older brother figure. That's not changing anytime soon, regardless of their age.
Low Tier
This is a tier of ships that I don't really like.
Natsu and Mavis
This lands at the bottom of this tier by the simple virtue of involving Mavis. I'm not going through arguments about pedophilia or stealing Zeref's girl for any reason.
Natsu and Laki
I have to look at any Laki ship and think, "She likes men?" This is still the case, even if it involves my favorite character in the series.
Natsu and Bickslow
[Remember to copy-paste the previous entry before posting, but switch Laki to Bickslow and men to anyone.]
Natsu and Freed
I can't understand the logic behind Freed being with Natsu in any meaningful sense. I might need to watch episodes 73-75 to get this.
Natsu and Loke
I don't know how big the Nalu/Lolu fight is that the solution could be "just ship the two guys together" for fights between fandom. But I'm not a fan of that trope in any iteration.
Natsu and Anna
Do I hate the idea of a ship between Natsu and a Heartfilia? Honestly, it just rubs me the wrong way.
Natsu and Cobra
It's not that this pairing is bad. I have to imagine breaking up a pretty nice pairing that Cobra's already in.
Natsu and Elfman
[Remember to copy-paste the previous entry before posting, but replace Cobra with Elfman.]
Middle Tier
This tier has okay ships. I might read a story from here if I'm in the mood.
Natsu and Laxus
I'm not really interested in most Laxus ships. This would be more interesting as a BroTP.
Natsu and Ikaruga
I saw a story with these two together, but that's it. There are better ships between Natsu and a swordswoman. Or Natsu and another person with pink hair.
Natsu and Sayla
Same as Natsu and Ikaruga, but they're both demons. Yes, I'm giving that as a reason for the advantage.
Natsu and Brandish
This is a couple bonding over their shared interest in messing with Lucy. It's really that simple.
Natsu and Sting
I'm pretty sure this doesn't have the same hangups as Natsu and Wendy. I could be persuaded into seeing this as a romantic ship.
Natsu and Hisui
Yes, I know they've barely interacted. If you couldn't guess by now, I don't care.
Natsu and Levy
This would be a tier higher if I didn't like Gajevy as much as I do. Two of my favorite characters in the series are in one ship.
High Tier
Ships in this tier are ideas that I'm willing to read and write stories for.
Natsu and Ultear
This is the higher-quality version of my thoughts on Natsu and Levy. I like both characters and don't need to worry about a canon ship breaking up. (cries in Graytear and Last Ages)
Natsu and Gray
This is the only ship where it's okay to consider Gray a tsundere, as far as I'm concerned. The second set of OVA openings is the Gratsu anthem. Fight me!
Natsu and Meredy
Remember what I said about pink hair ships? Easily the best example of fandom making a ship work for me. The start of my descent towards madly shipping Natsu with other characters.
Natsu and Mirajane
No, it's not the Dragneel-Strauss ship I'm known for liking. It's still cool in the right circumstances.
Natsu and Cana
The ship behind my first story. There's a lot I like about this one, but not enough to put it in the next tier.
Top Tier
These are my absolute favorite ships involving Natsu.
Natsu and Juvia
At first, it was about intangibles like aesthetics and involving characters I really like. Once the Avatar arc happened, I wanted this ship to happen more. Fan stuff is just gravy on top, and it's great gravy.
Natsu and Erza
This is my favorite ship within the Strongest Team which involves Natsu. The intimidation factor is often overplayed by fans, in my view. Incidentally, I also have three top ships I'd put on a similar list for Erza (Jerza, Grayza, and this).
Natsu and Lisanna
The top and bottom of my tiers shouldn't be too shocking to anyone. This ship has been my favorite for Natsu ever since first going through the Edolas arc in the manga. Mashima should have done more with these two. I will hear no counterarguments.
Let me know if I forgot any worth mentioning.

HI GUYS! I WOULD LIKE TO ADVERTISE A FEW STORIES I WROTE ON FANFICTION THAT HAVEN'T REALLY GOTTEN OUT THERE BECAUSE I WROTE THEM SO LONG AFTER FAIRY TAIL ENDED. THE SHIPS I FOCUS ON ARE PRIMARILY JERZA, WITH TOUCHES OR GRAYZA, MYSTOZA, GRAYTEAR, AND NALU.
Fairy Tail Academy is based on The Vampire Academy novels by Richelle Mead, I couldn't get it out of my head how alike Romitri and Jerza were, right down to character and plot, so I decided to try and write my own Fairy Tail version of it. M-rated and major character deaths, be warned. There are nalu mentions, slight Grayza, Mystoza, Ermon and primary Jerza.
Flower Circle is a (Jerza story) story about how Erza reflects on what her mother went through and how she secretly kept her body so she could give her a proper burial. M-rated, hints of Grayza, anti Gruvia, tearjerker.
Goodbye's no good, is a story based on the episode of Lost Girl where Bo has to do the joining but she can't take a weapon in to the challenge to defend herself and because there was a strong possibility she might die Dyson offered himself as hand(mortal weapon) to go with her and protect her, only there was a terrible price he had to pay. M-rated, Jerza-centric, unrequited Grayza, tearjerker, wolf-fic.
Kissing Cousin's, was thought up one day when I remembered something's from my early childhood. Many parts of the story are based on those memories but this is a young love Jerza fanfic, where they grow up and decide to be together even if the world is against them. M-rated, Jerza, Graytear, Nalu, somewhat incest.
My dearest friend, is a story about how things could have been if Erza and Mystogan had become friends. K+ rated, tearjerker, Mystoza, Jerza.
Space Wolf is a sci-fi/fantasy story about a group of children sent up into space to be experimented on and taught magic among other things. They find out they are going to be killed because the experiment failed and the researchers don't want their despicable act reaching the public. This story is Jellal centric, about how he saves his friends and becomes a hero only to slowly lose everything he cares about and sink further and further into despair. T-rated, rating might go up once the time skip happened and they reach adulthood, Jerza, Graytear and others, futuristic world with magic and politics.
This story is about Jellal and Erza living their own separate lives and how those lives slowly collide together. When they first meet Jellal is in love with her but he is too young for her. Something happens and Erza and a few other people are trapped in a time warp for seven years, when it finally releases them they are exactly how they were when they were taken, but the rest of the world has changed dramatically. They try to adapt in a new strange world where everything is different. Almost everything. Jellal has changed a lot from the innocent boy who had puppy love for Erza, he still wants her and now he won't give up until she gives in. The only problem for them is that he is mortal and she isn't, anyone touched by time will live forever. M-rated, fantasy world, muilti shippings, Rave Master characters included.

Thank you @empressofeverything for help with the prompt!  This was a fun scenario to imagine.
Armada Day 44:
The Start Of Something New
Gray x Ultear
With nervous wonder, Gray couldn’t help but marvel at the hastily erected decorations in the out-of-the-way meadow clearing.  For something that was thrown together in the span of a couple of weeks, it all looked pretty solid.  Sure, the wooden columns had strange faces staring out of them, but that was partly Gray’s fault for not being more specific with Laki about how he wanted them to look.  Besides, the elegant, green, leafy vines that curled around them, with their large purple and white blossoms that Droy had planted for the occasion, were a pretty competent distraction with only the odd uncanny stare peeking out from behind them, even if – upon closer inspection – the flowers did have… teeth…  But so long as they did nothing more than leer at the guests, Gray was willing to overlook the issue.
It was honestly a miracle that an event orchestrated by Fairy Tail as serious as this one could even be pulled together by the guild in question, much less on the tight schedule that they had.  Though to be fair, those involved in the project knew that it was mostly due to the criminal element co-coordinating that it had managed to come into being at all. Like the debacle of sending invitations to the Magic Council, with whom the bride was somewhat infamous for betraying and crushing and bringing their headquarters crashing down around their ears. And sure she had technically been pardoned for that, and it was an entirely new Magic Council staff, but if not for some swift messenger takedowns, it would have made for a very tense ceremony all around.
Gray still wasn’t certain why he’d asked his guild to organize his wedding in the first place. One moment he was laughing with Natsu and Lucy about how ridiculous a plan that was, how much of an absolute disaster would ensue, and then the next he found himself pleading with Makarov and Mirajane for their benefaction because if he had to look at one more sample bouquet he was just going to abduct his bride-to-be and make off with her into the night.
But despite his rampant misgivings during the whole affair, as he watched Natsu burn down three potential locations, Juvia flood two others, and a guild-wide brawl with decorative supplies destroyed yet another, Gray had to say that it looked… pretty nice, overall. He… he was just going to need to move the candles back from the gauzy ribbons just… a bit…
As he rearranged the as-yet-thankfully-unlit candlestick stands, he was hit was a strange wave of loneliness.  Or maybe it was something else.  Gray didn’t think it was regret, though he would be perfectly justified in feeling that, as he overheard Cancer arguing heatedly with Sorano over what the bride’s hairstyle should look like, and as he caught sight of Meredy surreptitiously pocketing several spoons from the table settings.  A pilfering that the tiny dictator that was Carla would definitely notice sooner rather than later if the past couple of weeks were anything to go by.  Also, Gray was fairly certain that one of the gifts was leaking fish juices, which did not bode well for the contents nor the tablecloth on which it sat.
No, what Gray felt, keenly… was that he missed Ultear.  Which was an altogether peculiar feeling to have, given that he was marrying her in two days.  Maybe it was because he hadn’t seen much of her lately – with her wrangling her own guild into the preparations.
The thought of marrying her made him almost giddy.  It had taken a long and bumpy road to get there – near-death encounters, world-takeover plots, and a lot of help from a very helpfully-inclined Meredy that ended in abject disaster on numerous occasions.  He wouldn’t trade it for the world, and he was sure Ultear felt the same.
Soon, they would be together in the most legally binding way possible.  And if luck was with them, they’d bring their eccentric families even closer together, and maybe someday have one all their own.  If they’d learned anything from this experience, it was that they could handle a vast number of rowdy, loud children for an extended period of time.  Kids of their own would be a walk in the park by comparison.  …Okay, maybe not a walk in the park, those had a history of going south fast for Gray.  This, though? Ultear and he had it handled. They were as ready as they were ever going to be, and nothing could dim his excitement.
…But first he needed to stop Gajeel from composing any heartfelt musical numbers for them.
