diet day 1 (900 cals)
i tried to liquid fast as long as i could today. i went from 10pm—4pm (18 hours)
breakfast: 2 mugs of coffee (~10 cals) and a watermelon flavored seltzer water (0 cals)
total—10 cals
lunch: pink apple and lemon flavored seltzer water (0 cals) and a mug of chamomile tea (~5 cals)
total—5 cals
snack: 1/2 serving of pirates booty (70 cals) and 5 dark chocolate chips (~15 calories to help curb period cravings)
total—85 cals
dinner: pink apple and lemon flavored seltzer with 1/4 lemonade (~30 cals), roasted brussels sprouts (85 cals), tilapia (~130 cals), 1/4 cup rice (~50 cals)
total—300cals
after dinner: 5 dark chocolate chips (~15 cals), half a shot of rum (~50 cals) and 1 bosc pear (~120 cals)
total—185 cals
total: 585 cals (rounding to 600 just in case)
honestly i’m feeling pretty good today. i had my first day off in a long time so i was able to relax a little bit and take a hot bath to help with my period cramps. recently they’ve been really bad and have been making me dizzy and nauseous when i don’t eat on my period. i usually try to not eat during the day but i really did not want to faint or anything with no one in the house to help me if i did.
i’ve also been trying to drink less during the week (other than if there’s a tasting at the liquor store i work at) so today was good for me. my manager got a new sample of rum for a store potential that i tried when i went in to give my schedule for next month. i’m currently training on the liquor wall so i’ve just been reading a lot of books and doing more tastings. currently making my way through all the dark liquors bc i’m more familiar with those and i’m hoping to hit light by the end of may, but we’ll see.
i also got to crochet a lot today since i had the day off, which i haven’t been able to do in about a week. i’m trying to finish a cardigan for my bf. it was supposed to be for valentine’s day but i got caught up with work. i was able to weave in all my ends today and all that’s left is blocking my squares and then sew it all together
overall, i would say it was a good day

i’m starting this diet tomorrow and posting my everyday stats and thoughts
my goal is to lose enough to go another notch or two on my belt and to be able to fit my fingers around my calf more comfortably (my legs have always carried the majority of my weight so my calves and things are disgustingly huge)
thinking about also starting a physical journal that i’ll carry around with my all the time so my bf can’t accidentally stumble upon it
i WILL be exercising every day for 30 minutes (YouTube workout videos) and do at least a 2 mile walk every day (3 miles on days i don’t work since it’s harder to do a long walk on the days i go to multiple jobs)

my day so far
move started doing hiit cardio videos on youtube for my workouts and honestly they’re so much fun. a lot better than sitting in my room for an hour doing sit-ups and jumping jacks 🥴
i’m in the process of making a weight loss and exercise bullet journal and made myself a 30 day workout program (i just added to one i found and took out the rest days and replaced them with 15-20 minute workouts)
i still have another 30 minute workout and my nighttime stretching to do today, but i’m taking a break to eat and do some housework that i need to get done (because if i don’t do it now i will literally never wash the dishes or put away the laundry 🫠) so i’ll update y’all when im done with everything later today 🫶🏻

i know it’s technically not march yet, but i’m making march my month. i’m using march to take accountability for how huge i’ve gotten and not taking care of myself and my interests and hobbies due to work and personal things.
during the month of march i’m…
~going to post daily pictures of EVERYTHING that i eat with calorie counts
~wake up between 7-7:30
~go on a daily walk in the morning (leaving the house no later than 8am) and enjoy the fresh air
~dedicate at least an hour to my bookish hobbies (sm accounts, taking pictures, scheduling posts, etc)
~dedicate an hour or more to crochet because i want to get into making more wearables (maybe start a crochet instagram?)
~do 30 minutes of stretching or yoga before bed
~take weekly body measurements to track progress (i no longer have a scale and i think rn a scale might make me spiral in a bad way with my anxiety and panic disorder) my goal is to be able to fit my fingers around the bottom of my thigh above my knee by summer, bc i know i weight about 120~125 when i can do that
i will be skinny for summer, and my journey is starting NOW
