Drawing winter outfits while it’s the summerest of weathers outside is really something but…

Here’s the thing.. I am ABSOLUTELY loving the winter outfits in the new update!! In general I love the 1.6 update, but the winter attires has to be one of my favorite stuff.

seeing Sam’s little beanie and his hair is so adorable like it reflects his personality so well.. But also Haley my beloved with the earmuffs and her coat AAA 10/10-

Mod of the week - Soft's Void Chicken Recolor by SoftFragile

This mod is super simple and recolors the Void Chicken to be more purple / spacey. It effects the chicks, hens, eggs and mayonnaise. It's a small change, but it's good for more pastel farms, and it's perfect for anyone romancing Maru!

Despite what lots of people assume, Haley doesn't particularly enjoy relationships or dating.

It's fun for a little while, but in the end, she tends to want her own space more than she wants to be with another person.

She already spends so much time with her sister and they don't even have anything in common.

Then she meets you, and somehow, the two of you have even less in common. Immediately she writes you off as someone she doesn't need to know.

But there's still a spark between the two of you, and you're so focused on your farm that it's not overwhelming.

Brief conversations, that's all.

Somehow falling for her along the way, you give her a bouquet, and she's so afraid that this is the end. She's going to get bored with you, just like everyone else.

But it doesn't happen. You're still busy, spending as much time as you can with her, but still, she has her own space and plenty of time for herself.

But she's found that she enjoys the things you like, too, and she now has an even longer list of things she wants to do.

(And doing them together doesn't seem so bad?)

Somewhere along the way, she changed. It was as gradual as the changing seasons.

But instead of changing her interests for someone else, she's learned to love even more things.

She even learned to love you.

Emily is always looking for the magic in people. Usually she can find it in their smile. Your magic is easy to find, always at the surface, brimming in your eyes.

Eventually, she realizes, it's because she only sees your eyes when you're looking at her.

Haley used to tell her about dating and relationships. It seemed silly at the time, and she's forgotten most of it.

But then you give her a bouquet, and she wishes she remembered more. 

It's a difficult thing, dating. Far more difficult than communing with spirits.

She likes you so much, it frightens the people around her. Gus warns her to be careful.

And she is careful. She's checking horoscopes and the star charts, trying to foresee problems before they happen.

She can't. And they do happen. But you work through them together, just as Haley's magazines said you could do.

And she looks in your eyes and sees the magic, still there, always there, just for her.

And maybe this won't last forever, but it doesn't need to. You're here, together, now, and that's enough.

Leah tends to jump from one committed relationship to the next, leaving no time for herself in-between.

It's the same when she develops feelings for you. She's only been apart from Kel for about a year. She doesn't realize she's even doing it, until someone points it out to her.

It upsets her, and she desperately tries to prove that that's not the kind of person she is.

She was planning on asking you out, but now she's hesitant.

Secretly she's afraid of losing her art career if she jumps into another relationship. She's only just started to find her groove again.

But then you ask to go steady. And you're busy with the farm, giving her plenty of alone time. 

She needs that alone time to thing through her projects, but meeting up at the saloon for a drink with you becomes her favorite time of the day.

And it's good, most of the time.

Sometimes she doesn't know how to handle this kind of relationship. She's used to possessiveness, to one person controlling the other.

This kind of freedom is new.

It's scary, though, to have nothing forcing you to stay together.

But then she goes to the saloon, and you're there, waiting with her favorite drink and a few vegetables you grew.

And maybe this time things will be different.
