The DTAA with Mauritius has attracted substantial foreign portfolio investments (FPI) into India, making Mauritius the fourth largest source of FPI investments after the US, Singapore, and Luxembourg. In a historic moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to inaugurate the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Abu Dhabi.
