genuinely one of the worst things that’s happened to television in the last few years (exacerbated by streaming services) is death of Filler. going from 20 episodes to 8 because “we didn’t really need that episode where the main characters went to the beach right? it had no long lasting effect” but we DID!!! we needed to see how they act without the Big Bad Plot and to establish the dynamics between the characters and lay in the sun (do they forget sunscreen? how do they react to a thieving seagull? do they get buried in the sand or do they do the burying?). the plot isn’t everything. the action doesn’t hit as hard without the quiet moments. give us character development and our little scenes back

Hot take, but two people who start off on the wrong foot is not "Enemies to Lovers". Enemies to Lovers is not "we avoid each other at parties/bicker whenever we're forced to be in contact because we don't get along". It's "We're actively trying to kill each other or ruin each other's lives". True ETL is operatic, high stakes, elevated reality divorced from anything that could happen in real life. It's not about misunderstandings, it's about actually doing bad and being bad and finding ways to atone or forgive and overcome your demons starting from a place that seems absolutely hopeless.

i wake up and think about kyman, i make my bed while thinking about kyman, i brush my teeth while thinking about kyman, i make breakfast while thinking about kyman, i take a shower while thinking about kyman, i open any app and enjoy kyman content, i listen to music and associate the lyrics to kyman, i go to sleep thinking about kyman. next morning, rinse and repeat
