I feel as though so many people are instantly calling Ghoulcy gross or wrong because they’re intertwining the two. They’re totally different relationships that are in no way similar. Joel and Ellie have a father-daughter relationship because that’s what they need in eachother. The Ghoul wasn’t looking for a daughter, Lucy wasn’t in need of a father (and also isn’t a child). It is perfectly reasonable for people to ship them and see a romantic relationship between the two!!!
