he definitely strikes me as one of the more romantic ones in the group, but probably in a more goofy way than Jungsu or Seungmin would be (but more on that later)

yes he’s buying you flowers every time he passes a flower stand

yes he leaves those cheesy little notes about how beautiful and perfect you are in your lunch that you take to school or work

yes he reminds you every day that you’re quite literally the light of his life and he wouldn’t be the same person without you

but I truly believe this man can get weird

GUNIL:

He's not subtle at all when he's jealous.

He doesn't mind if you're hanging out with other people but he prefers if he can be there too, not to supervise you, he just wants to be with you.

He's also the type to always have an arm around you or hold your hand in public.

So when he sees you with someone else and he senses danger, he will insert himself in the scenario, and makes sure to annoy either the other person or you into leaving.

Reassuring him with words seems to work best when he's jealous, he’s very weak against compliments.

JUNGSU:

He lives and dies for your attention.

So he really dislikes it when your attention is not on him, especially if it's on someone he considers competition.

He will become very pouty and sulky.

You need to make an effort to not only reassure him with words but to give him cuddles and kisses.

He won't let go of you until he's satisfied - at least for a whole day.

GAON:

He doesn't get jealous often, his jealousy doesn't come from clinginess or insecurity.

He mostly gets jealous when you're with someone he thinks has ulterior motives and tries to steal you from him.

The problem is that he won't communicate it well with you because he'll get very upset if you don't believe him and this can easily turn into an emotional argument if you don’t respond well.

He pretends he doesn't care but will watch over you all the time until you realize that he was right or he calms down and apologizes if he was wrong.

He becomes very possessive for a while after this, regardless who was right because you’re so important to him.

O.DE:

He'd get jealous pretty often for someone who hates feeling jealousy.

He loves and craves your attention but knows not to demand too much of it.

He tries to tell himself that you spending time with someone else doesn't mean anything and you still love him the most but his heart just wants you to be with him.

You can easily tell that something is up with him because he starts acting a bit more clingy and needy than usual.

The easiest way to resolve this situation is to indulge him and reassure him. Hearing it from you is a lot more effective than telling it to himself, after all.

JUNHAN:

He's kind of possessive by nature and somewhat insecure.

So when you're with someone else, he'll be slightly offended but immediately tell himself not to overthink.

Then he'll proceed to overthink if this kind of situation keeps going on for a while.

You can tell that something is wrong because he'll get distant - not necessarily because he wants to but he's too caught up in his head and doesn't want it to affect you.

You need to get through to him by all means and show him how much you love him.

JOOYEON:

He's fun because he's clingy, possessive and insecure at the same time! :D

That means he wants your constant attention on him and if you're spending that attention on someone else without a valid reason (based on his judgment), he will throw a tantrum.

You cannot reason with him when he's jealous, he will become as dramatic as possible like the whole world is against him and you hate him???

Let him sulk a bit until he calms down and feels bad for being unreasonable.

Then shower him with all the love that you have for him and is always his.

XDINARY HEROES CELEBRATING YOUR BIRTHDAY

♬ all members ♬ gn!reader, established relationship ♬ some fluff for every Villain’s birthday I wrote on my birthday <3

GUNIL:

The type to make your birthday very romantic.

He makes sure that you have a day off either on your birthday or on the weekend closest to it so he can take you out on a date.

He either plans a date for the whole day that ends with a dinner in a nice restaurant or at least takes you to the nice restaurant in the evening.

Even if you don’t want to go out and just want to spend time with him at home, he’ll make sure that he brings a cake and orders a nice dinner, and sets up some candles for the ultimate romantic mood.

Gives your present to you in a grandiose manner with a speech about how much he loves you and how thankful he is that you were born so he could meet you and fall in love with you… ;-;

Also the type to propose to you on your birthday if you’re not against that.

JUNGSU:

The type to shower you with love on your birthday.

He will purposely call you close to midnight and talk to you until the clock hits midnight so he can be the first one to wish you a happy birthday.

You might want to sleep in on your special day but he’s coming over immediately after he wakes up - and it is early because he was vibrating with excitement and could barely sleep.

He wakes you up with kisses!! Many, many kisses. It starts with giving you the same number of kisses as the number of years you lived but he doesn’t think that’s enough and gives you more kisses!!!!!

He’s okay with doing whatever you want to do as long as he can spend the day with you.

He will either cuddle with you until noon or take you out on a date, it’s all up to you, just know that he will cling to you, keep giving you little kisses and won’t let you pay for anything or do anything work related.

GAON:

The type that wants to celebrate your birthday as a family event.

The ideal scenario I have in mind here is that your birthday is a big celebration that brings together both your side of the family and his side. It’s probably an event that he initiated and then let the parents work out the finer details and the grandparents to prepare the food and the cake, so everything would be ready when he takes you to your birthday party.

This can more or less go the same way if only your side of the family or only his side of the family is available.

Or, if this isn’t something that’s possible to organize or you don’t want it, he’d still employ his grandma’s help to either make you cake and traditional birthday meals or to tell him how he can do it himself.

It may or may not turn into a mess and you arrive too early and the whole kitchen is covered in flour and failed attempts but it’s still a cute and wholesome scene that can only warm your heart and make you see how much he cares for you.

O.DE:

The type to start planning your birthday a month in advance.

At one point he’d start having thoughts like “your birthday is coming up soon” so he sneakily checks your social media to confirm the exact date and start planning.

Luckily for him, he’s smart so he already has a list of potential birthday gifts he could buy you - these are either things you said you’d love to have but were hesitant to buy for yourself or things he thinks you’d love.

The planning process includes throwing hints and asking questions about how you would like to spend your birthday so he can essentially make your dreams come true.

Even if you just tell him that you only want a quiet celebration with him, he will make sure you get everything your favorite (food, cake, drinks) and treats you like royalty.

This whole day you’re going to feel how much he cares for you and how much he loves you and there’s no way you’re not going to fall even more in love with him.

JUNHAN:

The type that wants to make your birthday as perfect as possible.

The thing is, he loves you so much and he wishes nothing but the best for you but he isn’t very sure how to express this - be it gifts or words.

So he asks you what you want for your birthday and if you have something in mind, he’ll be more than happy to get it for you. It doesn’t have to be a surprise as long as your day is just like you want it to be.

If you don’t have anything in particular in mind or you don’t want to make a big deal out of your birthday, he’ll be a bit stressed about what to do because again, he wants to give you the world!!

He probably thinks it’s nothing big, the least you deserve, but he’ll get you a cake and play a little song he made thinking about you but really, it’s more than what you could have asked for and it makes you happier than anything else ever would.

JOOYEON:

The type that may or may not forget about your birthday and panics about it.

Look, I’m not saying that he’d always forget your birthday, I’m saying that he might need subtle reminders maybe a week or two in advance that “oh my birthday is coming up!”

This reminder can be dropped naturally in a conversation and it’s a lot better than having one of the members ask him what he’s getting you and him going “oh shit-” or you getting upset on the day in case he did accidentally end up forgetting.

It doesn’t matter when he realizes it’s your birthday soon, he’ll become frantic because suddenly his head is empty and he forgot everything about you, he needs to calm down and think or ask for help.

Also the type to give you something silly that he presents like it’s the best gift ever, or to say something like “I am your present!!” and laugh awkwardly.

I do think he needs a little help if you’re the type to want a big celebration for your birthday but if not, honestly, him being your present is more than enough because he is indeed a gift for you every day :((
