Joe's already flick-flick-flicking at the faux bone charm affixed to one of his many bracelets- a clear sign that he's already lost in some fantasy entirely-too-hyperspecific scenario, but he's too far gone to be saved now. Yeah, Mister Professor Mishima is pretty smart... but even the fastest of crazy curveballs could throw anyone out of rhythm! Sometimes you just gotta think quick and act quicker!

Sara'd probably give a pretty smart answer here-- aaaaargghh. What would she say-??!

"I MEAN. Wouldn't coming up with an easy solution give you more time to turn all the details into something super smart and uh- foolproof? With an easy start, it gives you more time to plan out the solution.... duh !"

This logic contradicted a lot of what of what she had been taught in her life, especially the words of her own professor. She has no reason to distrust any friend of Sara’s, nor does she believe that Joe would put forth any ill intentions in their plans, but this particular notion wouldn’t get them anywhere. Maybe he needs his own words of advice, just as she’s gotten when she was near his age?
