“I’m going to need a thicker jacket when winter comes. I’m fucking freezing.” Vicky lit up a cigarette, not caring if the person next to her was bothered by it or not. She inhaled from it and shoved her lighter back into her purse. “It’s mostly the wind that gets to me. Makes my face and neck all red. I’ll need a good scarf too. Maybe there’s a nice boutique on this god forsaken island that sells something decent. Aren’t islands supposed to be warm anyway?”

“This is nothing. I’m pretty positive there’s a snowstorm going on back in New York. I don’t miss that part about home. The snow was awful for my heels.” Gidget stated. She was in a simple sweater and blazer combo but she felt perfectly warm. Even with the wind blowing, she was used to the nippiness. “I’m not sure but if you ever need a beanie or scarf, I have loads. Especially three season old sweaters that I’m sure you’d fit.”

“Excuse me?” Zander asked, clearing his throat to make sure he caught the other person’s attention. “You’re technically on private property right now, and a far distance from the hiking trails… Are you lost? Or looking for something in particular that I can help you with?” Under his job requirements, he was supposed to escort anyone in these parts of the forest back to the public areas - but Zander was a big believer in the Earth being shared by everyone, so if this person was truly after something he’d do his best to help them find it. After all, it’s not like he really has a boss, he was technically an employee of the King and it’s not like he came around these parts to check in very often.

Gidget was close to panicking. She’d never exactly been the nature sort of girl. Though she’d been on her fair share of adventures, they always happened in the city where there was at least cell service and some sort of dirty restaurant nearby. Spinning around in a circle the girl began to whimper. “I didn’t wear the proper shoes for this!” A voice broke her panic, though, and she contemplated running at the very large muscular man and thanking him endlessly. Gidget grew up in high society, though, and so she knew how to hold herself back. “I’m so sorry about that! Yes! I- I didn’t mean to wind up here. There was a squirrel that looked injured and I kept following him and here I am.”

“Hey! Gadget!” Lindsay called out, walking over to the woman. Names had never been Lindsay’s strong suit, but she had the best intentions she swore! “You look so good today! Where did you get that dress? I think they would go so well with these cowboy boots I have.”

“It’s-- Oh never mind.” At this point, Gidget knew that Lindsay would never pick up on her name. The blonde meant well. She just wasn’t all that smart when it came to basic things like names. At least, thats what Gidget had seen. Still, Lindsay was as sweet as could be and there were no ill feelings. “This dress? Oh! I got it back in New York. A place called Zara. If you’re interested, I could always call one of my contacts and see if they have some left. It is a last season.”

Ella looked around again and then back at her. “You had to have at least some help did you? This is just an awful great deal for one person. Don’t worry though, it is rather perfect.” She added with a warm smile . The woman’s excitement was rather contagious. “I’m having a lovely time thank you. Oh? I prince.. I’ve met a few people behind a mask, but only time will tell if they’re charming and prince like in the real world if I ever bump into them again.” 

“Oh my goodness, yes! Of course. There was an amazing team behind me. I just made the plans, they’re the ones who executed it. I can’t wait to thank them properly when I get back to the office later this week.” Gidget was nothing without her team. Sure, she was the mastermind but nothing would have got done without the others. Absolutely nothing. “That’s wonderful! Keep your options and your heart open. That’s what my mother always said. Although, I’ve been in love with the same man since I was ten years old.” She sighed dramatically at the thought of Max. Sweet, handsome Max. “I’m glad you’re enjoying it. If you’d like a dance, though, I’m more than happy to oblige. I haven’t exactly had a moment on the dance floor yet!”

Drink in hand, Char is playing the wallflower, content for now to just watch the other party-goers enjoy themselves. Truth be told, he feels a little strange - it’s been a long time since he went to an event like this, and its overwhelming in a way he hadn’t been expecting. 

A small hand on his shoulder pulls him out of this thoughts, and he directs a kind smile at the excitable young woman suddenly at his side. “I just got here,” he admits, “But from where I’m standing, it looks like the evening has been very successful. It’s usually much harder to get people dancing.” 

“Would you be the person to congratulate on a job well-done? I’m assuming the King and Queen didn’t pull this off by themselves.”

Gidget adjusted her mask a little - a nervous habit that she didn’t realize she had - and smiled a little at the stranger. The girl didn’t pick up on his wallflower ways which is why she started the conversation in the first place. Had she picked up on it, well, she would’ve been more discreet. Then again, maybe she wouldn’t. “It’s so nice to see everyone out on the floor isn’t it?! Oh it just warms my little heart.” She squealed a bit. “Oh uh... yes. Yes you’ve guessed correctly. I’m an events planner so this was a lot of hard work. Blood, sweat, and tears literally. But so worth it.”

With a fond smile she looked towards the other. “Oh, I was aware it was a single person that put everything together.” She looked back around at everything and nodded softly. “It’s beautiful, truly something you can tell was done by the top of the food chain around here.” 

“You really think so?” Gidget practically squealed. She bounced a little on the balls of her feet and did another quick spin. “I just wanted it to be perfect. Some people have never been to a ball before and I wanted this to be the best one they could have possibly gone to. Have you had a nice time? Met your Prince Charming yet?”

“Uh, what?” Gwen was taken aback by the woman coming up to her, raising an eyebrow at the questions she immediately asked her. “I mean, it’s… fine. It’s a party, I guess.” She crossed her arms across her chest, giving the other woman a look. “How are these important details though?”

“I just... I want to make sure everyones enjoying the party.” Gidget looked around before leaning closer to the girl. “I sort of helped arrange the whole thing. I planned the decorations and the food and, well, every detail so I just like to know what I could do better next time. Every detail about the party is important. If a band member is out of place, if a food tray isn’t stocked, trust me someone will always notice.”

When Hook had seen Gidget crossing the room in his direction he had hoped his mask would be enough to keep her away - especially considering he knew for a fact that he had seen Eric wearing the same one earlier in the night, so it’s not like it was an obvious give away. But of course with his luck she came directly towards him and called out his name. “Yes, Gidget. It’s me,” he sighs before nodding along with each of her questions, only half listening. “Fifi wanted to come, so I was roped into escorting them.” Not that he truly minded, of course - whatever Fifi wanted Fifi got - but still he would much rather be at home than stuck here.

Hook was just about the only person who was allowed to call Gidget by her last name. After all, they weren’t just friends... they did business together! Well, Arabella helped him out with his business and he was her friend. It was basically a win win for everyone. Arabella gave a dreamy sigh. “You’re such an amazing man. Following Fifi despite not truly wanting to come. Everyone deserves a person like that in their life.” For her, she liked to imagine that it was Max. Of course, Max himself wasn’t exactly aware of it just yet. She clapped her hands together, “Since you’re here! How are you liking it? Are the details enough? I’ve heard the band is boring. Unfortunately, there’s only so many pop songs that translate into orchestrations.” Ara pouted slightly.

“Oh my gosh! You look like a princess!” Lindsay cried out as she watched her friend spin. She was loving this party so far. It was full of fun people and fun things to do; how could she hate it? “It’s so much fun! Like the best party ever. I just wish the music wasn’t so boring.”

“A princess?! Really?! Well, I’m glad. This dress just called my name. I know it looks really fancy but... it just felt so perfect.” Arabella rambled innocently as she smoothed her hands over her dress. There were very few times where she would flaunt her money and now was just one of those times. She couldn’t help it! The dress was just so pretty. She’d practically drooled on it before she tried it on. Giving Lindsay a look over, Ara placed her hands over her heart and gasped dramatically. “Lindsay, if I’m a princess then you’re a queen! Just look at you, muffin! You look amazing.” The woman nodded, “Unfortunately, I couldn’t do anything about the music. I’m glad its up to parr though.”

Eyes rolling, Catra smacked her hand at the older woman’s. “Don’t touch me,” she demands before adjusting her suit jacket again. It was taped down to ensure it would cover her chest, but she still couldn’t help but mess with it throughout the night just to make sure. “It’s fine, I guess.”

Arabella wasn’t the least bit offended. She gave a tight smile and tried to ignore the pounding in her heart that let her know she had done something wrong. “I’m so sorry. I should’ve asked. Oops.” She tried for a joyous laugh but fell off the sound. “Fine? Just fine. Is there something more I could have done?” Arabella wondered, wishing she had her journal in order to bullet the ways she could have pulled off the masquerade better. In her mind, she had thought that this was the perfect night but she also had only just arrived.

How fabulous is my team? They’re amazing aren’t they?” The woman spun around excitedly before landing back towards James. “I’m shocked you came.”

Arabella has always been spoiled. Born into a well off family on the upper east side of New York, the girl has never had to know struggle. She’s a modern day gossip girl. Every difficult situation she has ever gotten herself into, Arabella has always managed to get herself out of it through the art of persuasion (and often times dropping a few dollars here or there). That being said, Arabella isn’t a horrible person. In fact, unlike most rich New Yorkers, she has a heart of gold. Incredibly loyal, down to earth, and friends with anyone she meets (including some very sketchy people whom have only wanted her for her money), Arabella likes to think she’s a woman of the people. She knows she’s got different standards than the regular New Yorkers but she’s not stuffy or mean and she definitely doesn’t look down on people for their lack of funds. Arabella is actually one of the few girls her age that comes from money who still donates money to shelters and organizations to help the homeless of New York. Really, Arabella may be spoiled but she also likes to spoil others and is that really such a problem?

Though she really doesn’t need a job with a trust fund as large as the one she’s got, Arabella gets bored easily, so having a job helps fill her days and keeps her occupied. Besides, the more she works, the less money she spends shopping! If you take the girl out of the mall then the girl will buy a lot less things. Arabella has always been a big fan of parties and this, with her love of precious details, is how she became an events coordinator. In college she decided it was time to get serious so she got serious about parties! Arabella’s now the island’s executive events coordinator. The woman wants to be something more than her family name and this is how she’s begun to do that.  

How does she feel about coming to Corona?

Arabella feels like her own person now and it’s the greatest feeling in the world. To be known as Arabella and not just Gidget is something the woman has always dreamed of and the island has finally made that happen.
