My big homie @quitecontrari showing us a variation of hanging garhammer raises! This one is spicy. 🌶 Start off with the thighs parallel with the ground, drive the knees up without using momentum, lower down as slow as possible back to start position. 8 reps is what I prescribed here because she has the capacity to do so but if you haven’t done this before, adjust the reps accordingly. Grip, core strength, breathing, and more play a factor in this exercise. If you have questions, holla at ya boi! If I could pick just one exercise to do for the rest of my life, rear foot elevated split squats (rfess) for the win. @abbycrawff killing these Copenhagies (that’s how I say it, lol). These are great for working the pillar but also the commonly neglected adductors. If you don’t know what these are, you’ll find out as soon as you get into this position. Lol. For those that want to try these for the first time, start off with your knees bent at 90 degrees and focus on squeezing your legs to the bench!
