The Vurkzerren are among the most bizarre and disturbing members of the mutant rebels. Every mutant is unique so to give broad classifications the Magna give names to mutants based on their appearance or behaviour. It is little wonder these creatures got their name from the Magna word for ‘ripple’ as the Vurkzerren are in constant motion, their flesh writhing with forms and shapes while they warp reality around them. It is not know how element 139 created creatures with these abilities but what is known is that the Vurkzerren are able to create singularities in space that are devastating to physical matter, flesh can be dispersed like smoke in wind, the molecules in air manipulated to create impenetrable barriers, even the law of gravity can be negated in their presence. As such they are formidable adversaries and the only real hope of countering one is to eliminate them before they are aware of a threat.
