Nevermind I was going to recommend and write about Leper's This Next Song is About Death, but I can't vouch for the albums that precede or follow it. It begins with the Lord's Prayer in Scots Gaelic (i think) so I hope that this album is fine.

Anyway, Where is Thy Sting? and Out of this Pit are both excellent goth songs! They sound nice and eerie and everything I wanted them to be

ig something embarrassing I used to do was write Christian parodies of emo music because I wanted to listen to the songs very badly

probably why I have a strong urge to make music lol

#that's what happens when you grow up on The Apologetix #but i did listen to regular music for a long time #i stopped though #after i lived in a house with occupants who dabbled in w*tchcraft #let's just say it had unintended consequences #that's why I'm very strict about what i voluntarily listen to #i don't police anyone else #but i like presenting options to people who also have limited music

my favorite music to MAKE is definitely like an eerie game soundtrack: cello and deep/altered bells, clock sounds, and other ambient spooky victorian-industrial-fantasy sounds. that's what Ive spent my free time learning recently. i haven't played the cello for 7 years but im trying to get ahold of one again

if i were in a real band.., i'm not sure what i'd make. id probably cross like 8 genres in one album. i like metalcore and emo too much and whatever dead can dance had going on and what emilie a. used to be
