if tumblr wants to be safer they need to get rid of borderline invasive tracking methods and adopt a more internal analytic system. You have the tags system and like buttons get them working properly and you have the base of an working analytic users will actualy not have problems with, but I an assure you the trolls and bad people will because it does not rely on private/privileged information that if a computer is “shared” will not be distorted by a third parties use of the device.

I got to get back to work now but it looks liek tumblr may be reconsidering its NSFW ban in light of the mass amount's of users who deactivated.
