“oh sorry” the r sounded weak making Mark turn his head at the girl he just stumbled with.
ever since he came from Canada hasn’t faced anything more than xenophobia, mean guys telling him to go back to his country or girls making disgusting jokes about his accent when he tried to be nice to them.
every encounter with staff or other trainees was filled with malicious intentions of hurting him.
but not this one.
the black haired girl seemed really sorry for almost breaking his guitar and as it was known as ‘one of the foreign trainees’ she was really trying to apologize in a way he would understand.
“it’s fine” he mumbled in korean and the girl rushed to him to hold his hand.
YeRim told her about a canadian cute boy who was bullied for almost everything, she didn’t wanted him to think she was bad.
SeungWan explained the boy spoke a weak korean and that was an obvious reason for people to make fun of him.
“it’s not, i’m sorry let me buy you a fruit juice or something?” she said slowly but not in a offensive manner.
“can you buy one for my friend DongHyuck, he won’t leave me alone if i don’t have something for him”.
“is DongHyuck bad with you?”
“he’s annoying but surprisingly not a bully”.
“then he can get a juice i guess, can i drink it with you guys?”
by this point the pair was already walking to the convenience store while stumbling on some words or mixing languages time to time.
“i don’t think i have friends anymore, YeRim is about to debut”.
“you have…us, i guess” his nervous laugh made Yoon laugh as she placed her arm on his shoulders.
“i have you guys”.
and then Mark seemed to be the most perfect person ever.

life chapter “ass-pa”: gossipy
“you used to be all ‘oh god he is so handsome’ when he was out there looking like a whole loser” YeRim laughed at the memory of her best friend dying of love.
HaYoon shaked her head with a smile of disbelief “isn’t he your friend? wasn’t he your friend at the time?”.
both girls were walking aside of Han River, something they do since they’re trainees and was interrupted by the stacked schedules both had.
“i missed you unnie”
the other smiled while trapping her under her arm “i missed you too dummy”.
after the exchange of some caring words they continued their walk until an interruption because of a phone call.
JiMin sounded in distress on the other side of the phone as soon as HaYoon picked up.
she was being called to the dorm in urgency.
she hurriedly said goodbye to YeRim and almost ran to her manager waiting in the side of the parking lot.
“oh my god you’re dating Mark?!”
HaYoon had Yizhuo clinging on her as soon as she opened the door, JiMin keeping an straight face along with the manager, both behind the maknae on top of her.
“Ning, let’s see if there’s some new words we can learn” Aeri talked to the girl as if she was talking to a preschooler but the dense feeling of the manager burning in rage needed some soft treatment to not make it explode.
“were you with him just now?!” the manager almost yelled making HaYoon and JiMin gasp.
“who?”
JiMin took her phone out to pass it to her, a bunch of dispatch news displayed but the most recent said…
“i was just with YeRim! i swear!” she almost threw the phone when raised her arms in innocence.
JiMin and the manager raised and eyebrow “those are old pictures, we were on high school or something he never even kissed me properly!”
“well if it’s not that serious you can fix it” the manager said after a long silence and HaYoon almost begging they to believe her.
“fix what?” MinJeong arrived to the dorm as the manager left to her room and Yizhuo and Aeri came running to the living room where was HaYoon dramatically laying on the ground.
“fix the dating problem” JiMin said as if it was funny causing the other four girls to scream, only one out of frustration.
“but are you and him dating?” Yizhuo asked again.
“we did almost five or six years ago” HaYoon said annoyed “i don’t even remember half of the relationship”
“she said it wasn’t real because they didn’t french kissed” JiMin used her words against her making her huff and the girls screamed again.
it was going to be a long night.
