It's just so funny to me that Snow had to see Katniss sing the hanging tree song, use the mockingjay as her symbol while her name is Katniss and she is from District 12 but he had NO ONE to tell. He just had to keep it all to himself, being the only person to know what that all means. So many coincidences and you can't even tell anyone.

It’s not just that Katniss used poison berries to outsmart the games it’s that Snow has seen it before. Back when he was still Coriolanus he saw the unfairness of the games and while it’s mostly self serving he still helps Lucy by sneaking her rat poison as a fuck you to the Capitol rules. So when Katniss pulls the nightlock stunt, he’s furious because he’s seen this before

Okay but some of us would literally LOVE to be in the hunger games. I'm from district 2 and I literally wasn't allowed to volunteer as tribute because they had too many volunteers. Not everyone is forced to participate in the hunger games, some of us literally train for it for years. Fighting in the hunger games is a privilege. Remember that.
