Denver Broncos Regular Season Game 17
Hawk Valley Regular Season Week 18 January 8, 2023
Denver Broncos vs Chargers
Quick Review
The Broncos lost to the Chiefs, 27-24. It’s another moral victory for the Broncos. The changes made by the interim head coach Jerry Rosburg seemed to work out. It was nice to see players back on the field that had entered Hacket’s dog house. Russell appears to have given up on his dream of cooking and becoming a pocket passer.

Over the last month the Broncos offense has been averaging 19 points per game. If you look back on the last three games and throw out the blowout game last week, the Broncos averaged 26 points per game on offense and the defense only gave up 25 points per game.
In the first match up, Denver trailed 27-0 and then Mahomes started to turn the ball over and which led to 28 Denver points. That was Denver's best offensive output of the season. It will be interesting to see how Denver has adjusted and if those adjustments make any difference in the outcome.

Outlook
The Broncos could lose all of their division this season. Overall Kansas City is averaging 29 points per game, while the Broncos average 15. In divisional play KC is averaging 31 points per game, while Denver averages 21. Both defenses give up 27 points per game in the division.

The Los Angeles Rams average 12 PPG in non-conference play while giving up 24 PPG in non-conference games. I can see why Russell Wilson rushed back to play in this game. Merry Christmas Denver.
