Sometimes I feel like the tfios fandom doesn’t pay enough attention to Isaac.I mean sure, Hazel and Gus’ part of the story was obviously very sad but they had their ”little infinity” where Isaac’s was pretty much miserable throughout the whole book, what with loosing his vision, his girlfriend and his best friend because of cancer. Idk, I just think he deserves a little more love from the fandom so I decided to draw Hazel and Augustus cheering him up.

A Desert Blessing, An Ocean Curse

I’ve been sitting on this one for several weeks, toying with colour schemes and eventually deciding on a dusky, melancholy feel. I originally intended Augustus to be directly above Hazel, like the faces on a playing card, but decided against it, as this quote is meant to only describe Hazel’s imperial affliction. As always, constructive comments and critiques are welcome.

The fault in our stars (pg 119-120) by John Green I first came to know of John Green by his “Crash course World history” series on youtube, since then i’ve been following the Nerdfighter content daily and got to read two of his books. This is my favorite moment of this particular best seller. I am not a TFiOS fanatic or anything, its a good book with some short comings but with overall quality, great characters and moments. This is the first illustration o a project of mine to illustrate my favorite scenes of every book i read this year. Next in line are: Anansi brothers (Neil Gaiman) Paper towns (also John Green) Perdido Street station (China Miéville) Hope you like it!

My degree course is all but over, so I finally have time to start drawing again! This is a piece that has been on hiatus since May, so I’m glad to have finally finished it.

do you ever miss the days before TFIOS came out? like I'm so so glad we have the movie but I miss getting excited and wondering what it was gonna be like and waking up and being all 10 days!!!!! and stuff. ya IK it's weird but I hope it's not just me that kinda wishes I could do it all over again

Yeah, I feel that way about the book, though. I remember when he first announced it I'd stayed up all night and was really excited and then when it came out I bought like three copies and it was magical.
