born in raised in toronto, her was was a dentist & her mom stayed home to watch her & her 2 siblings!!! she’s the middle child and u can TELL

she was a science kid!!! like....u know the kind w all those little science kids to like grow ur own crystals and blow shit up and whatever. thought lighting stuff on fire was cool. 

she was fairly popular in school!!! although most definitely a trouble maker. top of her class, student council president, yearbook editor, track star, valedictorian, her plate was FULL. and yet.....the little shit was always in detention

everything was just so BORING, which is why she chose to keep herself busy and do so many things. there was never one place she fit in, always bouncing around trying new things and befriending new ppl. 

she graduated early and ended up getting hella scholarship money & she went off to uni to study dentistry just like her dad

her uni roommate was..........a horrible influence on her. well, they were bad influences on each other tbqh because heather wasn’t exactly a good egg to begin with LMAO. 

they definitely focused more on their social lives than their grades, but heather still did p well in school.

heather decided pretty quickly that she did NOT want to be a dentist and eventually, after her and her roommate decided it would be a great idea to grow pot plants in their dorm closet, switched her major to botany instead and the bitch was a whiz! casually growing & selling closet pot to fund their horrible spending habits

she got engaged to her college bf on a whim & she moved to lakeview w him & they got married as soon as she finished her degree. needless to say it definitely did NOT last. she stayed married to him while she finished her masters and then the two called it quits, but she stayed in town. 

a few years later she ended up pregnant w her first child shortly after she finished her doctorate!!! she’d only been dating her boyfriend for a few months at the time but of course......being the impulsive gal she is, they got married!!!! they ended up having another child before they inevitably split up. they currently share custody and they’re on v good terms!!!! there rly are no hard feelings, things just didnt work out for them romantically but they’re still v good friends!!

she got engaged again at some point but never quite made it to her third marriage, which is fine by her. she’ll probably be married another 3 times before she dies but who cares!!!!! weddings are fun. when will she learn her lesson???????? we may never know

anyway, now she out here doing plant things and being a Cool mom. she mostly does a lot of environmental research w her job but also......she runs a grow op on the low, pls don’t tell the police. she’s making bank for the future of her CHILDREN.

ok so, cal has lived in lakeview for his entire (sad) life. he’s the only child of two (now retired) high school teachers and he has always been the little emo shit ball he is today.

he was that weird little white kid who would like......burn ants and shit with a magnifying glass probably. he was definitely an annoying little shit who had no friends & he thought it was because he was a LOSER but it was actually because he was just kind of rude???

he wasn’t actually THAT bad he just wanted to be left alone and he kind of made that fact known. it was also kinda hard for him to be the son of 2 teachers at his school u know??? he just hated school & wanted ppl to leave him ALONE.

probably only had like 3 friends but he would spend his lunches and free periods just reading outside no matter the weather.

his earliest memory is of his grandpa’s funeral and he’s been very interested in death ever since? LMAO. not in like....a whack serial killer ted bundy kinda way but more in like a.........isn’t it kinda weird that u have to stare at ur dead grandpa before he gets put in the ground kinda way????

but he never rly thought abt it in terms of a career until he started dating his first gf in high school. her dad was a funeral director and he was like 👀 yo this mans is COOOOL AF

it got to the point where he would spend more time with his gf’s dad than his actual gf bc....he is a FREAK and even though they broke up eventually, cal went to work at his funeral home right after high school & became his apprentice. a few years later & he was working at the funeral home full time as a licensed embalmer & funeral director!

he’s been there ever since and tbqh he is a complete workaholic. ppl die every day man he’s always busy, on call 24/7, helping families arrange burials and funerals and all that jazz. he much prefers the embalming and paperwork side of his job where he can work alone in peace. comforting grieving families is absolutely exhausting and it’s taken a toll on him. the mans needs a VACATION he’s never been sis...................he needs some sunlight. he needs some milk :/

his HERO and MENTOR has since passed (cal handled the funeral himself, ofc) and the funeral home was passed down to him, so he is now also the owner & manager. 

he was married once upon a time!!!!!!!! he loved his wife v much but he is very bad at communicating and expressing his feelings and he tends to busy himself with work when things get tough so whenever they had a fight, he would disappear and just work work work. they were together for four years before they separated and eventually divorced. 

now he is just.............alone. with his cat, gomez.

again, he likes to be alone. he is kind of awkward, kind of anti-social, just generally uncomfortable around ppl, especially if he doesnt know them. he’s pleasant enough but he just would rather not meet new ppl if he doesnt have to LMAO.

he is ALWAYS tired. the man doesnt sleep, let me tell u. doesn’t help that he’s always drinking coffee tbh. he can stop whenever he wants he just....doesnt want to.........

bc he is so tired he is also very easily irritated & quite snappy. he is just kind of negative & rude & grouchy & snappy and i am so sorry for him.

starting w her background

she’s a first generation american born in manhattan. her mum is from pakistan & her dad is from india & they both attended columbia where they met and fell in love awww how cute we luv some heteros. her mum was studying accounting and her father architecture. they married right after graduation and found a place in manhattan to start their family!!

they had a lot of trouble getting pregnant but eventually they were blessed with a set of beautiful twins !!! dimah was born and then seven minutes later, inaya came too.

although the twins always got along v well, inaya kind of felt like the black sheep. she was never as smart as her sister. she was never as popular as her sister. she tried so hard to be liked and even though her & dimah were best friends, people always seemed to like inaya less.

because they were twins, they were being compared constantly. it was always “why cant you be like dimah? dimah does this dimah does that. dimah has good friends” blah blah blah. it was frustrating bc inaya tried so hard and.........she got nothing. it was impossible for her to form her own identity when she had a sister who looked just like her. 

it went on like this and eventually inaya got used to it and just....did her own thing. she figured she would never be as good as her sister so there was no use in trying to make her parents proud so she just stopped trying and tried to do what made her happy. it didn’t really work. in fact, it only made things worse.

she felt defeated. like nothing she could do would ever be good enough for them. she had friends that loved and supported her but her the disappointment from her parents’ weighed heavily on her heart and her self esteem.

suicide attempt tw !! she was only sixteen years old when she attempted to end her own life. she was found by her best friend who rushed her to the hospital where her life was saved.

after that her parents kind of realized how their words and actions affected her. (a little too late but still) and things started to get better. they were angry with her at first but hearing her explain how she felt and how they made her feel things started to click into place. she was a good kid, really. she never did anything wrong. she hung out with some questionable people but her parents started to recognize that she was just doing her best.

things were pretty ok for the next few years. not good, but ok.

and then, when she was nineteen, she noticed her period was late. it was VERY late. she took an at-home pregnancy test and it came out positive and she was absolutely TERRIFIED. her parents eventually found the test and absolutely lost their minds. they were okay with her hanging out with shady people and not getting perfect grades but the unwanted pregnancy was the final straw, it seemed.

and just like that, she was kicked out of her own house with no where to live. she ended up moving in with her best friend while she worked odd jobs to save up some money.

abortion tw !! with no money and no help to raise a child that she didn’t exactly want, inaya ended up getting her pregnancy terminated. it was the hardest decision she’d ever had to make and the choice still weighs heavy on her soul though she doesn’t regret it.

she & her best friend decided in their mid-20s that it was time for a change of scenery and that’s how she found herself in lakeview.

ever since, she’s been working as a freelance makeup artist while also being an active member of the beauty community on youtube. though her job is somewhat unconventional, it makes her really happy and she feels very successful by doing what she loves and making pretty decent money for it. she hopes to start her own makeup brand pretty soon that is.....her ultimate dream

ok that got longer than i wanted but here is more abt her personality

she is......an absolute angel. the sweetest woman u may ever meet

the opinions of others are very important to her so she is always working double time to impress people even tho.......it ultimately just makes her unhappy

she’s way better off since she’s sort of lost contact with her parents but she still.......has that uncontrollable urge to please people no matter what

she’s very sensitive and very emotional. she takes almost everything super personally
