Blue and Green || Luke and Beth

'Ten minute warning, kitten. See you soon x' Luke felt slightly excited at the prospect of taking Beth on the date finally. His fingers ran through the newly dyed blue hair, tugging it into the quiff before using the hair gel to set it into place. His fingers ran through it once more before he grabbed the blazer off the back of his chair tugging it on before taking a look in the mirror. Unable to help himself, he found himself smirking before he left the place, making sure he had his wallet, silently glad that he'd not only booked the reservation but sorted the transport out. It wasn't often that he got to drive, but he found himself quite glad that he'd managed to at least rent a car for the night.

Heading through the place he finally reached Beth's room, leaning on the door frame as he knocked three times, his teeth pulling in on his bottom lip for a few moments, his hands sliding into his jean pockets. "Taxi for Mis Swift, to take to her to see her drop dead stunning date." Luke called through the door, pressing his lips together to contain the laughter. He knew that there was no need for the cockiness, but with her, it was impossible. She gave him that confidence.

"Why would I just say it? You're witty, sarcastic, take my ego down a notch and I've also found out that you're very good in bed." The smirk returned once more. "There is nothing to not like about you." He murmured. "Age is a number for us, simple as that." He was unable to resist his grin as he shook his head, using his grip on her waist and pulling the girl on top of him, as he deepened the kiss, his fingers still tracing patterns on her skin. Pulling back momentarily, he let his lips pull back into his smirk. "It's a good job I'm not that egotistical then."

Beth smiled and moved closer to the boy, unable to control her smile. She blushed and shook her head, “As if you’ve liked me for a while. Are you sure you just aren’t saying it?” she asked, wrinkling up her nose as she looked up at the boy. The girl nodded in agreement, “I know, It’s stupid, age shouldn’t be a thing. I mean, maybe when someone’s in school, but we aren’t. And I know we don’t act like it, but we are adults so people shouldn’t care. And, it’s not like I’m old” she said with a giggle. Beth couldn’t help but laugh at his response, nodding her head in agreement. “Well, you know I don’t deal well with egotistical people” she said, smiling and pecked him sweetly.

The earlier panic built up, and the words were reassurance but Luke couldn't help himself as his arm around her waist got somewhat tighter at her words. "Glad to know the feeling is mutual." He grinned before rolling his eyes. "Everyone thinks age is an issue. but as long as it's legal and consenting, I don't see a problem. And anyway, it's not as if I'm lacking experience." The smirk returned to his lips before shrugging. "You kept me grounded When I got too much of an ego you kicked it down so fast and it reminded me that there were and are people in my life who I still need to talk to. And good, cause I doubt this position is going to change." He murmured in returned, his lips skimming cross her softly.

Beth just shrugged and smiled, "Yeah well, look where I am now" she giggled. "But, I didn't sleep with you cause you're famous, just incase you were scared. I have been crushing on you for some time" she said with a blush, sighing sweetly. It was funny how before she would of never told a soul, but now she comfortably telling him. "I'm glad" she murmured, "Me too, surprisingly. I always thought she would be a really big issue for me, but I don't care now" she admitted. "What do you mean? How did I help you?" She asked, still wondering how she could do such a thing. Beth nodded and curled up closer to him. "Me too" she murmured.

You really won't. But it's kind of a good job really. We spend too much time on tour, of course I'm going know what you'd write, Clifford. He'll show up. If he's anything like you, he's probably hiding in a mancave somewhere. Ah shut up, I felt like a change and this was the best option. Plus red would look awful on me.

"Embarrassed, but you didn't try to sleep with me because I was famous." He chuckled, his fingers running lightly through her hair as he smiled at her blush. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Yeah age might have been a bit of a thing, but one, it's not really an issue now and two, I couldn't care less.." He used his hand, slipping it to capture her chin with his fingers, tilting her head back towards him. "You gave me reasons to not give up on a lot of things, be it my failed relationship or my friendships back home." He murmured softly before grinning. "Yeah, we're here and I quite like this position." He teased he, placing another light kiss to to her lips. 

Beth nodded, intrigued to see what he really meant. She smiled at the boy’s words, “Oh shut up. I thought you were cute too though, but I felt really embarrassed when I found out who you were” she said with a small blush. “You know, considering you were young and stuff” the girl said with a shrug. She blushed and looked down at her hand, sighing softly. She couldn’t believe that the boy still wanted her. He had seen the best and worst sides of her, and he had always been there, even if he was half way across the world. She smiled and nodded, “I can’t believe you want me still. After all this time, I mean, you’ve literally seen every aspect of me and you still want me” she said, shaking her head in disbelief. “But it’s funny, because, I thought I’d just always like you, and that would be it. But now, we’re here” she said, with a wide smile.

That's be pretty awesome. Yeah, I think Pirates of the Caribbean covered that side to the fairy tales but it's still something to consider. Ariel is a little far fetched but could be possible. Yeah, you don't realise till you think or say it out loud. I find it interesting that we haven't even touched on some of the creatures down there. I really shouldn't watch as many documentaries as I do, but there are points on the tour bus when you just get too bored.

Wow, yeah, that would be pretty weird. I didn’t realise how weird until you said that, ha. The ocean life kind of freak me out, because there’s so much they don’t know about down there yet. But it is really interesting, I agree to that.

"What do I mean?" He repeated and he chuckled softly, letting his fingers brush  lock of hair behind her ear, his fingers ghosting over her cheek. "When we first met, yeah I thought you were hot. Beth couldn't stop smiling. She was so used to the guy just walking out on her, it being a one night stand after being led on for the entire time. But it was different with Luke, so incredibly different. She knew that she had to sort things out with him, but a part of her felt like she shouldn't even have to explain herself. The girl blushed and raised a brow, "What do you mean?" She asked, curious to know more. She had no idea the boy was actually attracted to her, especially for a while. The girl just blushed, shaking her head. Beth sighed, "You're so incredibly charming sometimes" she sighed.

If it was like a cat, then that'd be quite cool I think, but it'd look so weird seeing as slugs look weird enough, but with whiskers sticking out of their butts? More fascinating than humans. Especially ocean life. I'm more interested in those kind of animals.

Sort of. Or some sensors or something, I don’t know? Like the cat uses its whiskers to make their way through the dark, so maybe snails would have something similar for when they needed to reverse… Animals are pretty weird. But very fascinating, though.
