I wanna see yodie (damianluck / fulcrum) and Noam Chomsky go on a week long trip together on a small sailing yacht.

Noam Chomsky is a fascinating specimen. Looks almost identical to the Biblical God Yahweh. Lives in a books closet in presumably an ice cave. Accepts every interview request with any 23 year old ponytail guy with 91 followers called like “RevolutionRenaissance w/Ajax,” is exactly as candid with Ajax as he would be with Amy Goodman. “It’s not hard to demonstrate empirically. Just one example will do. Take China.” “Oh yeah dude the stuff with China is craaaazy, yeah can you tell me more about that?” “Okay. Well. Take China for example.”
Has been speaking at the same exact pitch for 20-25 years, half octave up 25-30 years ago, like the John Cage piece for a giant bell and it’s so slow paced that the pitch changes once a decade.
May no one impugn this man and shame on any Marxist couture mag whose pre-obit is a hit piece (inevitable)

We must be prudent with recommending books, movies, even music and perhaps esp music. To me, when I say “you should check this out, Friend or Person I Know, it’s up your alley” I expect them to actually do so, actually. With music at least. There’s two kinds of music listeners. The people who just vibe out with what taste they’ve accumulated, adding something here or there on an odd whim. Then there are people like me, monsters, who will check the music out pretty instantly, and, if it’s Bad, say something like “what the fuck is this crappy shit no offense but it sounds like music for a paper towels commercial, this is shit bruh,” on the flip, if I really like it, I’ll really dive into it and get into it.
Anyway here’s a recent example of the latter, great great excellent stuff. Like some of the best music I’ve gotten into freshly in years perhaps. What is even happening? It is so entirely within itself, it haunts from within the diamond it wove for itself over the history of time, up to the very closure of the latter:

One thing you can also have done four mins ago is say
I THINK IM GONNA GET A BANANA TOO YEAH I WANT A BANANA DEFINITELY
way too loudly, esp given how it needn’t be said at all, to the 7-11 guy as you place a banana with your existing cache of items

Q: will my relationship work out, will we both flourish and make for a loving supportive partnership?
A: regardless of the conscientiousness of either party or how In Love or how good the sexual chemistry is etc, if both partners are (i) active alcoholics or drug addicts (ii) with mood and emotional regulation issues (however classified, whether personality disorder type shit or bipolar or some comorbidity of ADHD or autism), then No. No it won’t, there is not a shadow of a chance it will, and there is a chance one of you will end up in prison, or at minimum one or both will face punishing social ostracism or ‘cancelation,’ and these are just aftereffects. You cannot outsmart the combined forces of these pathogens, you can’t put checks and balances in place that will hold
That’s a hard cold life fact learned through, well what do you think. It bothers me because it feels like that shouldn’t be Necessarily True, that there’s no one size fits all Policy on these matters. And there generally isn’t. This is the main one, I think.
I hope that this helps anyone out there, somehow

Say it with me:
I’m a worse person than I pretend to be and no amount of scolding people for saying marginally and technically insensitive cuss words on the internet is going to change that. Instead, I should engage with the world and my community, cherish and be generous loyal truthful and forgiving to my loved ones, stop doing things such as writing awful uncapitalized narcissistic slam poetry in Notes app and listening to “bedroom pop,” maintain principled convictions regardless of the anonymous internet people’s meaningless noise, listen and authentically care when people are suffering who need any small form of my support even if gestural, all with all of the levity, joy, grace, hope and integrity I can muster — and what I can’t muster, work with the diligence of a trade apprentice at increasing my musterload

Voted for the underdog (Elordi) knowing that the cool woke nerds would vote PSH, even tho Elordi is Conventional Hot and would be an Overdog in other contexts
How come so much of my tumblr is about Hot People? I think it’s cuz I let my id out on here. Ain’t none of y’all know me on here except one person who posts about me a lot cuz we’re best friends and roommates and I get on her nerves every day, but she knows my Darkest Lizard Brain depravities and superficialities anyway, and y’all are kind of just teenagers I might catch a stray reblog from once in a blueie if it’s about Kafka or Adorno (why tf are my two favorite writers / thinkers such memes on here? Is it because of the hell world y’all be living inside of?)

Perhaps irrationally tho I will always forgive Dasha, no matter how she has Ann Coulter and Curtis Yarvin on the pod and speaks from the Dark Idiot part of the soul now’days, because, of course, of this

It’s funny Dasha Nekrasova was on Succession (playing ‘Comfrey Pellits’ lmao, and clearly phased out rather quickly when they learned her acting range was One), cos a Red Scare ep is basically what you’d get if you listened to two Tabitha-type people talking for an hour. They wish it was the wizened and tragic old world mystique of Marcia, but it’s just Tabitha. Rich girl you can buy on the private jet dating website, doing beleaguered groans and sarcasms on their ironic kitsch fainting couches inherited from Oma, 🎀⛓️aesthetic⛓️🎀-scrolling and talking out loud simultaneously in a dissociative puddle of nouveau-riche ennui. Everything is cringe when you use Joe Rogan Goop drugs to starve out the last neurons that click with consistent values about the world anyway don’t listen to this if you are not an enormous masochist. But like, please do lmao

Martha Nussbaum and Cass Sunstein walk into a bar.
Doctor says, “what’ll it be?”
Sunstein, the neoliberal university employee, says, “I’ll have a cigarette and a bit of jam, in a crimped paper tray if you have one.”
Doctor says, “Yeah we got the crimpies. What’ll it be for you, madam?”
Martha Nussbaum goes, “I’ll have what he’s having. I copy all my husband’s preferences, especially in politics. I was a great philosopher once, but then I met Cass and now I’m a center left national security liberal and welfare state skeptic.”
Doctor says, “Well, ain’t that something. Say, do you all think you might wanna throw in a little extra to donate to John Hickenlooper’s campaign of 2020?”
Martha replies, “I already did! We love Hickenlooper: out of all of them, he is the one we chose to spend a lot of money towards.”
Sunstein rolls his eyes and spits on the counter. Martha smiles, thinking about income inequality
