This is literally, practically just FLUFF. It’s so adorable and so well-written. The slow progression of Junhyung and Taejoo’s relationship is so heart-warming. I appreciate it so much even though it was written way back when in 2014 and Taejoo has kids now, LOL. There is something so fucking classic about this fic, I can literally imagine it in a black and white filter with piano playing in the background. It’s so well written, definitely check it out. It’s basically smut, but with plot. Doojoon is a literature professor and Dongwoon one of his students, Doojoon saw Dongwoon talking to one of his exes and it made him jealous. Doojoon is a bit possessive throughout the story so beware of that, but you can honestly just feel the amount of overwhelming love he has for Dongwoon. It’s truly a great fic, please check it out! I really liked the concept of this fic. At first, Junhyung was shy and it gets worse when photographer Gikwang admits that he’s read all of his books. It gets even more awkward when Gikwang starts prying about whether the events in the books are based on experience. It’s supposed to be a temporary arrangement to get Joon to lose interest in him. Yoseob doesn’t count on falling for Junhyung in the process!

Another one of those rare long, slow-burns that I love. Yoseob just moved to town and his cousin set him up on a double date with a guy who just so happens to be the jerk he’d run into before. A bunch of things happen and this fic turns into a fake dating!AU and it’s amazingly well-written. Side Doowoon and Kiseung are super cute. It’s delicious, there’s pining and fiery Yoseob as well as smart-ass Junhyung who is secretly such a softie, your heart’s going to melt. Don’t forget to like and comment!

I love the idea of the boys having sock puppet accounts on social media! The way this whole fic was orchestrated was so nice and fun to read, I really recommend it. It’s in the Bad Girl era and Doojoon is upset that Yoseob isn’t using as much skinship anymore. After finding out that management is the reason behind Yosoeb’s lack of “molestation”, he logs onto his sock puppet account and may or may not accidentally start a petition. It’s really cute! Title: Just Another High School Love Story Author: @b2utifulyoebo Rating: Mature Word Count: 43,278 Category: M/M Paring: Dooseob Summary: Take one bullied gay kid, the yakuza, a chaebol and unresolved sexual tension, add it to Yoon Doojoon’s life and you’ve got a mess that will become a legacy.

I could not put this fic down. I read it all through the night as soon as I found it and dedicated myself to it the next morning. It’s a multi-chapter slow-burn that made me cry and laugh and practically have a mental breakdown. Basically, Doojoon starts attending a new school and he becomes friends with Junhyung, Gikwang and Hyunseung who bully the ‘resident gay boy’ Yoseob. Doojoon and Yoseob become friends and Doojoon falls in love, literally in the most pure and painful way ever. There’s a lot of confusion with falling in love and boyfriends, adding in the struggle of discovering your own sexuality and dealing with all the problems that come with that. If you want a long, emotional fic this is the one. The writing is spot on, the chapters bring in tension at every turn and the ending will catch you wiping away tears. This is one of my favorite Highlight fics, hands down! But, don’t forget to leave kudos and comment!

Junhyung has a few problems mentally which will all be revealed and eventually things heat up and they break the sexual tension by hooking up. This fic takes an interesting divergence from real life. Instead of Highlight debuting as a group, they all form they’re own careers separately but remain friends, excluding Junhyung and Yoseob who are sworn enemies! It’s a really cute and witty fic with a beautiful flow of enemies into acquaintances into friends into more. The interactions between the Highlight members are adorable and there are so many references scattered throughout the story. The writing is very well done, the story isn’t fast-paced and the characterization is stunning! It’s definitely a must-read! Unarguably one of my favorite Highlight fics! She laughed. It sounded wonderful.

AHHH, such a sad story. It’s basically Doojoon being depressed and everything seems to be going wrong. He meets a girl and they quickly become best friends.
