thank you all sincerely for participating in my silly little tournament poll. whether your oc didnt win any rounds or won a bunch of them, i appreciated seeing so much interest and support in an idea that i didnt think would get very far off the ground. even if there were some sour parts to it, i hope we all had fun!

now to adress some questions you probably have:

no, there will not be a second "episode" of sorts to this tournament. as much as i had lots of fun it also kind of exhausted me in the early parts, and i value my health and wellbeing! i encourage other people to make their own "spinoffs" if they truly want to-- i didnt invent the idea of oc tournaments and this certainly wont be the last one.

i'm going to be keeping this blog up in case people who make other oc related polls want to tag me in it to promote it, but i've closed the inbox. if you'd like to keep up with me myself and i then you can follow my main blog @raybotonline ! (and hey, since it is the season, feel free to attack me on artfight as well-- id love to draw some of your girlboss ocs if theyre up there!)

Patience Propaganda: The Virtue

IT'S FINALS TIME BABEYYYY so I have an amusing plot point that happens as a last-ditch effort of Patience when she wants to unite the Virtues to become a more potent force than the Hedons; by using the understudied practice of Divine Fusion discovered by her little sister. (Tagging @homemadegirlbossbattle)

Warning for body horror, fantasy wars, and sibling abuse below the cut, tread carefully! (Along with a LOT of lore)

Things began with her little sister, Thena, conducting groundbreaking research on gods' composition during and after the Empyrean War (War of Heaven vs Hell). Some research was... a bit brutal, using one of Patience's lost wings as study material, but she overall found some incredible things that many others had never bothered to look into; one of these was the fusion between two or more gods.

Patience found all of this ridiculous, though, especially with Thena not making much progress on figuring out how to make fusion a stable thing. She would berate and ignore her findings on a majority of her research, insisting that she's not being of much help.

This is what pushed Thena to leave Heaven after decades of dealing with not feeling good enough to earn her sister's approval, going down to Hell to take matters into her own hands. She was deemed having gone missing, Patience calling off the search once she discovered she had travelled to another realm and found a demonic lover.

With Patience looking through her old documents and Thena eventually finding her way back to heaven, it was revealed she had used fusion to produce a destructive beast by the name of Osor, the little snow leopard having fused with the god Bael to produce her. This intrigued Patience, seeing there was a way to create something more powerful than the other gods; especially the Hedons.

With this new information and realizing fusion can be weaponized, Patience has a new mission to use this research to her advantage. Despite wanting to leave that past of a corrupted fusion behind, Thena is pressured to share her research and aid in further experimentation.

Utilizing her little sister's desperation to please her, Patience eventually convinces Thena to show her how it's done; and uses this new knowledge to forcefully fuse with Humilitas, Humanitas, and Temperance to create The Virtue.

well it looks as though a tiebreaker round will not be occuring! as a result,

the final round will be a Three Way Match between Patience (@cherry-spot), Valerie Wester (@toa-arania) and Lucille Nowhere (@bonetrousled)!

a lot of people in the tags of one of the semifinals polls have put forward the idea that Patience & Valerie Wester being a team hasn't been exactly fair on the people against them, and despite enjoying there being a team of two characters i can't help but feel as though it would be preferred by many people for the final match to be a 1v1 instead of a 2v1-- no offence intended toward the creators of those OCs, of course, it's just a matter of fairness & me wanting to take the complaints of others into account.

not incomprehensible at all! i have seen the suggestions for a 3 way poll in the tags and such and i think it is a good idea and honestly IDK how i didnt think of that myself LOL. if it comes down to it that may be what happens if a tiebreaker round doesnt end up happening...!

Hi y'all! This is a JoJo OC poll, and all kinds of JoJo OCs are welcome! From stand users, to Hamon warriors, and humans, to even Pillar Men. If your OC is in the world of JJBA, then submit them here! This blog does feature a small narrative of a researcher studying the ゴ bizarre ゴ things in this world through this "study", so that'll be the overarching theme of this poll. You all, the viewers and submitters, will be referred to as his "fellow researchers/peers". I ask that bigger artists allow smaller artists to have their chance to shine! This is a study done by the Speedwagon Foundation. By signing the consent form, you agree to be put in consecutive bracket fights in order to get the best understanding of your abilities.

There must only be one of you, no study subjects can be in pairs. I will, however, take exceptions if, for some reason, you two cannot be separate. [Message me on either this, or my personal blog, and please explain why! - Orfisheus]

You must submit yourself, you cannot submit your peers. Be fair, people.

Your history is a required topic. Given the nature of fate and stands, darker subjects are natural. However, please leave triggering topics (i.e. bigotry, sexual violence) out, or vague. My fellow researchers will be reading my eventual report, so please keep that in mind.

Combat experience or power is irrelevant, I will ensure you all have equal footing.

If you are a relative of any well-known stand users or figures from our history, you are still welcome to the study. If I find out, though, that Joseph has had another child out-of-wedlock... You will be permitted. He, however, will have some consequences.

Submissions into the study will close by July 12th. Voting will occur for a week each time. There may be occasional delays in results. I am a very busy man, after all.

Additional Notes:

Propaganda is welcome from all. Including, but not limited to, artwork, writing, and personal playlists, if you're into making those.

I will try to submit as many of you as I can into the study, but I cannot guarantee that everyone will take part. However, there is no limit for submissions.

THEE Official* TTRPG NPC Bracket!

Every TTRPG party has That One NPC that they’ve latched onto.  It might be an NPC who’s become a member of the party.  It might be a god.  Maybe it’s your wizard’s familiar.  It’s probably that one shopkeeper from that one town with the craziest voice you’ve ever heard come out of the DM’s (or if you’re the DM, your own) mouth.

This bracket is designed to celebrate those NPCs!  Tell the world about why they’re so special to you and your party.  You’ll learn about all the wildest, most wholesome, most villainous, silliest, and everything in-between NPCs out there, and be able to cheer yours along in a Tumblr-typical bracket-style tournament.

All the guidelines for your propaganda can be found on the submission form here!  I have it set so your personal information will not be recorded.  Please only submit NPCs through the submission form so that I can ensure that I have them all and Tumblr didn’t eat any of them.

Description: Nowhere is a cosmic beast born from the death of a star. A sentient universe, given near-immortal life.. with a catch. She must feed on the suffering and pain of living beings. While most might languish under this moral dilemma, she’s made a well-run business out of torturing hapless victims and getting them to kill each other. She spends most of her time lounging in her dressing room- one that was never used, given her failure in the acting business -and sipping viscous black fluids out of ornate glassware.

her son is just some orphan she kidnapped she fed him soup laced with mercury for years 1,000+ murders got bored of the murders. started making her son do them for her trapped people in a time loop to milk as much sorrow as possible for herself has killed and cloned her son at least 500 times has shot at least 3 children into space turned a man into a necklace for wearing ugly clothes turned the left over remains of the people she had been murdering in her timeloop into a sentient beast that she kept in a dark cellar and named “meat” found out that her sister was trying to find out a way to not have to kill people and instigate tragedy to eat and killed her for it proceeded to lock her sister’s daughter in her room for 10+ years for breaking a vase on accident is rude to service workers

Description: Doctor Natasha Sidney is the main antagonist for one of my current projects in progress, where she’s a very diligent and skilled psychiatrist with very, very high ambitions for herself. She knows how to keep her cool when she’s intimidating someone to bend to her will and she’s very quick on evaluating a person’s emotional weak spots. Her magic mind powers help her with her work and it’s her source of pride and joy. She’s a force to be reckoned with, she fits the evil scientist aesthetic but in psychology now, she has that half-lidded eyes-and-ominous smirk combo, her magic scars look like BLOOD on her hands! What more can you ask for!

Also btw she had a very major role in starting the whole plot in the first place, in which there are two separate cases related to someone dying. Truly a #girlboss
