If i may add something to writing advice, sometimes, 2nd hardest point is transition from story to smut scene. But that usually happen only if you are writing noncons, fluff smut have easier transition since it's usually easier to be sneaked in the story

It can be tricky, especially when moving from a more innocent narrative into more explicit content. With non-consensual scenarios, it requires a deft hand to guide the reader from the story into the illicit act without jarring them.

There's this cheat code like using time skip, location skip, and scene skip but it won't always work. But if you really really can't do transition, those might come in handy.

Fluffier, more romantic smut can blend in a bit easier, as you mentioned. The key is to build up the tension and chemistry between the characters then you're good to go.

Sorry for the late reply. I answered a similar question before here so you can check that out first if you (want to) haven't already.

When it comes to setting up a story, I gotta admit, it's always a bit of a struggle for me. Coming up with that perfect opening paragraph can be a real pain in the ass. But once you crack it, the rest just falls into place, believe me.

So, how do you nail that elusive first paragraph? Well, it's all about the plot. Even if it's something as simple as a fart joke, you need something to lay the foundation for your story. Usually, for the plot, I will think about the location and then start from there.

As for which idol I choose to write about, that all depends on my mood. Sometimes it's based on how horny I'm feeling, lol, and other times it's sparked by a random picture that triggers a random idea.

Here's the thing, you don't have to have all the other parts figured out just yet. Start by writing what you already know. Then, take a breather and do something else. Trust me, the missing pieces will pop into your head when you least expect it. Then connect them together.

Don't force it. Forcing ideas will only leave you stressed out and frustrated.

At the end of the day, I can only speak from my own personal experience. I can't promise that it'll work out for you exactly the same way, but I hope it at least gives you something useful to work with. Good luck!
