You said in your most recent post, your interests shifted. Does this mean that both the comic and the story are discontinued?

[ To put it simply, yes. At some point I might continue the story for the sake of finishing it(since its pretty far from over and i had a lot of things planned). The comic, however, is going to stay discontinued for a while due to lack of time and energy. Apologies to everyone. ]

where did the original idea for corruptmare come from? :00

The original idea came from a nightmare, but the original original concept was a character that is controlled by the askers(ask blog), they would work together to make it to the end.

Paintbrush is the character controlled by the Askers, aka:

I mostly imagined Lightbulb as one of the original characters and built off of that.

Lightbulb made it for them! I had to implement some sort of clothing into the story that wasn't a cloak.
