Kintash Tzara

slight, silent, and stealthy, Kintash was born with incredible power and an unusual gift for manipulating the Force. they were taken as a Sith apprentice at only eleven - the three years of cruelty that followed left them cowed and untrusting. the relief of their master's death when they were fourteen did not last long; he was killed by an SIS special ops team working under deep cover in the Empire, and Kintash - fourteen at the time - was the perfect tool. the team was led by a former Jedi, and he took Kintash on as an apprentice and trained them in stealth, intelligence, and the use of the Force. he was not as outwardly cruel as their Sith master, but Kintash had little freedom, especially in communication - mostly nonverbal, they relied heavily on sign language, and they were taught very little Basic or Basic sign, ultimately communicating through a mix of Republic military signs and leftover Sith.

at eighteen, Kintash's SIS team was slaughtered in an ambush, leaving Kintash the sole survivor. this time, they were found by the Jedi and taken in, but the subsequent years did very little to settle their mistrust. when they are assigned to Maeji Katreos as a padawan, it is a last-ditch effort to see if they are able to work at all in the field, especially with others. luckily, that effort pays off.

Kintash is still a padawan when Maeji is pulled from the strike team going after Vitiate and they are sent in her place. seeing this as an effort to redeem themself, they are more than willing to fight - the months of imprisonment and mind control that follow very nearly break them entirely, and when they escape, they trust one person: Lord Scourge, who fights at their side as they hunt down Vitiate and slay him. afterwards, they hunt his spirit to the edges of the galaxy, intent on destroying it once and for all - no matter the toll it takes on them or the price they have to pay.

Taristi'vas'alar

the most ruthless and amoral of the Taristi siblings, Ivasa escaped his family's massacre alongside his twin and older sister, and promptly abandoned them both after tipping off authorities on Nar Shaddaa to their location. after a few years of petty (and not-so-petty) crime in the galaxy's less favorable locations, he became a contact for Imperial Intelligence - and soon afterwards, an agent.

despite his lack of covert training, Ivasa takes to spy work easily; first as the Red Blade, then as Cipher Nine, he sneaks and kills his way through planet after planet, until he grows tired of Jadus' oversight and decides he's had enough of Imperial Intelligence. he steals his ship and several million credits and takes Kaliyo to Nar Shaddaa, where he promptly sets up shop as one of the most powerful criminal bosses on the moon.

Ivasa takes on another new name, this time the title of the Singularity, as his empire expands. despite angering several powerful forces, Ivasa himself remains unharmed and untouchable - that is, until a Rist teams up with one of his first enemies to try and bring his kingdom crashing down.

Maeji Katreos

a Jedi from birth, Maeji believes strongly in their ways and has dedicated herself to following the Jedi Code. thus it comes as a shock for her to discover that her bloodline traces back to Darth Revan, a feared and hated figure from three hundred years ago whose empire crumbled only when he disappeared.

Maeji eagerly takes on the task of hunting down the stolen Republic superweapons after leaving Tython, and is assigned two other Jedi to help her: newly-knighted Kira Carsen and the tsis padawan Kintash Tzara. when Darth Revan himself escapes his prison, Maeji begins to spiral - though she defeats Darth Angral, she grows more and more concerned about her bloodline and what it means for Revan to be free once more.

as one of the brightest young Jedi in the Order, she is a key member of the hunt for the Sith Emperor's stronghold; however, she is seen as too valuable (and perhaps too much of a risk) to send on the mission that follows, and her padawan Kintash goes in her stead, only to disappear from the face of the galaxy along with the other members of the strike team.

Maeji blames herself for the mission's failure and the brutal hunt to kill the Emperor that follows Kintash's return, and withdraws from high-profile missions until the Revanite crisis, when she joins the Yavin coalition to defeat her ancestor once and for all.
