Twenty years ago on this day, the US-led ground invasion of Iraq began. Death and destruction quickly became a common sight in the country. The war caused the deaths of more than 200,000 Iraqi. Chaos and instability gripped the whole region as a result of this occupation.

Do you think this will be the end of Zionism as we know it? I recently watched an interview by Ilan Pappè and as a historian he believes that this aggression on Gaza is a viscious symptom of Zionism's imminent demise.
Yeah I think without a doubt this is the start to the end of the zionist occupation but also the Western imperial apparatus. America knows very well its control over Afro-Asia will not last very long after this is over. A military base posing as a state was necessary for the control of the region and they're losing that now. There's a reason they started bombing Lebanon on October 8th, because they know what their job is: to terrorize their surroundings into 'not daring'. And they're essentially just scrambling and destroying everything they can as if it's not destroying them too. Their 'society' is already falling apart. Hundreds of thousands of internally displaced settlers all beating on each other and abusing each other in a settlement 'city' that itself is at a tipping point. Their terrorists need ecstasy supplies to keep themselves from committing suicide. Lots of them are injured and unable to continue. Their entire tank supply is f*cked right now. So they're resorting to drones and warplanes and they keep running out of ammo that America us resupplying them with their own supply. What do you think is going to happen when they run out and they can't produce enough to keep up?
When Algeria freed itself of French occupation it was similar. Things were ramping up really fast. The destruction was massive and brutal. But they're free now and they rebuilt. The only thing left before this really occurs is if the West Bank fully joins the Intifada. They're trying to prevent that now but it's slowly starting.

If you try to picture the most adorably twee and quaint idyllic Beatrix Potter art cottagecore aesthetic pastorial scene, combined with the bleakest, greyest and grimmest fucking cyberpunk dystopia you can think of - and not fused seamlessly together, mind, but an absolutely jagged mish-mash dysharmonious mess, with peacefully grazing sheep on a field to your left, and a big ugly grey corporate building of the company that owns your soul to your right - you've roughly got a pretty good image of what Britain looks like.
