Just finished reading Right Side of Wrong, and I loved it too haha. I love the way you keep parts of the songs in the story by making it into dialogue. Anyway, i love your writing. Are you going to make a rewrite of Descendants three? Incase you couldn't tell I've never really used tumblr lol

In terms of a D3 rewrite, it’s still up in the air, but don’t hold your breath. Unfortunately, it’s been over a year at this point and I’m still trying to figure out how it would work. I changed a LOT of the plot by the end of D2, so I’ve lost a lot of the movie structure to use. If I were to write it, it would be pretty much a whole new story, not a rewrite. But, I still have the beginnings of a draft for it and every once in a while I work on it a little, in the hopes that one day I’ll decide to post it.

Whether or not the D3 rewrite ever becomes a thing, I’m so happy that you liked the first two!! It’s hard to reread old writing, but I’m still super proud of this series to this day!

- The four of them go through with the plan, but instead of breaking the barrier, they take over Auradon themselves

- Evie kidnaps teenagers and forces them to be her ‘friends’ and servants, to make up for all those years of isolation in her castle

- Carlos has an evil scientist’s labarotory where he experiments on people

- Mal curses Audrey to sleep for a thousand years just to see the look on Aurora’s face

- Jay orders everyone to sacrifice their riches to him, watching them slowly turn to fighting each other for resources while he sits on the throne for a change

- When they lock up all the royalty, they make sure to give Ben a nicer prison cell than the rest of them, since he was so endearing

- But Evie still makes him dance with her in her new ballroom so she can feel like a princess. he has to keep the chains on, of course, but he’s so handsome!

- Mal learns dark magic and tests out her spells on King Adam. just for the hell of it, she turns him back into a beast, too

- Carlos keeps wolves so he can have them attack people he feels threatened by

- Jay still likes tourney, so he makes Chad and the other AKs play with him. but he disregards the coach’s rules and turns it into a violent and bloody survival match

- Mal likes to give false hope to the citizens of Auradon, giving the impression that she’s faltered or they have a chance at succeeding, only to quickly crush those wishes. she always was a fan of mind games

- She forces Jane to be her personal sidekick because it’s just so fun to corrupt someone innocent and privileged

- Evie chooses Mr. Deley. his job is to help her test out her acid mixtures

- Jay and Carlos share Chad, taking extra care to make his life a living hell

- They help out little kids whose parents are now…. indisposed. they feel so glad to be helpful to them, not even noticing the fear and horror in the children’s eyes

- They each handle their parent a different way:

- Carlos kills his mother, plain and simple, as quickly as he can. he doesn’t want to waste another thought on her

- Mal turns her mother into a raven, the way Maleficent did Diablo, and keeps her in a bird cage. now who’s the weak little sidekick?

- Jay keeps his father locked up and tells him to make something valuable enough that it should earn his freedom. he has nothing to work with, and nothing will ever be valuable enough (the way Jay’s steals were never good enough) but Jay likes watching him scramble to collect sticks and rocks

- Evie keeps her mother locked up, too, but in an empty cell, and she appoints one of her new servants to be Grimhilde’s “mirror.” he won’t say anything unless she asks, but Evie knows she will, because she’s just that vain. every time she asks how she looks, the servant mocks and insults her. the irony is that she never stops asking, never stops trying to earn praise, even when it hurts her every time without fail. she’s made her into Evie.

Hi! if you have watched Descendants 3, I wanted to know if Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas is on the Isle of the Lost or if Jack Skellington, Sally, The Mayor, Zero, and Sandy Claws or any of the other characters make a cameo in the film

None of them are in the series to my knowledge in any media (especially the films, cause I’ve seen them all many times)

But I would have loved to see them! Now that you’ve got me thinking about it, I wonder what Jack and Sally’s child or Oogie Boogie’s kid would look like. I know there’s tons of fanart out there, but I don’t believe Descendants ever tackled characters who didn’t have human forms!
