may I request naoto tachibana x fem!reader?

this has been rotting in my head for the longest time ever: so in the series, naoto said that his memory gets overwritten when a new timeline is created. so I was thinking imagine fem!reader who he loves, but every timeline she is always somewhere else, further away from him. so maybe after seeing the outcome of his sister's fate and discussing with takemichi when a new timeline is created, he also checks on fem!reader. one timeline she'd be living in another city, one timeline she'd not even remember him, and what if there's one where she is part of a criminal organization, tasked to kill naoto. what is the outcome gonna be? is she gonna be able to complete her task? or will she end up falling for him in the process?

Ahh that actually sounds really cool! I kinda came up with this for it (it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger though)

You're always on his mind, everytime the timeline gets rewritten there are three things he does. 1. Check to see if his sister is alive 2. Find Takemichi and 3. Find you.

He knows he shouldn't be focused on you, that he should concentrate on saving his sister. But he can't help it, you won't leave his mind. He loves you.

Of course Takemichi only encourages this, always telling him to go after you and find you. And so that's what he does in every timeline. 

In the first timeline that he can remember, you were his neighbour. It was funny how that had worked out, the two of you attending the same school as kids then living in the same building as each other as adults. He didn't really talk to you much but you were always so kind to him. Helping him out here and there, always smiling at him. 

The second timeline was the one that really changed things for him though. He wasn't expecting to find a ring on his finger or a wife waiting for him. He didn't know what to think at first but he fell hard and quickly for you, his wife. You were just so understanding and loving towards him, even when he was out late with Takemichi trying to figure things out. He liked your company before but now he loved you and of course he wanted to keep you. Something that he would end up aiming for in every timeline.

He isn't so lucky in the third timeline, the two of you were married again so of course you were also dragged along by Takemichi as "moral support" for seeing Hina. Which lead to all four of you being in the car, he had to run off for work but he thought you would be safe. He didn't think you.....                        you and Hina were chatting in the car and waiting for Takemichi when Akkun drove into the car. You were killed instantly from the collision, leaving Naoto to organise your funeral as well as his sister's. He swore he wouldn't let something like that happen again to you after that day. 

In the fourth timeline you weren't around at all, Naoto searched and searched but couldn't find you not anywhere. It wasn't until he was searching through some old stuff of his that he vaguely remembered you leaving to study and work abroad after finishing school. He hated that you weren't around but was also somewhat relieved. With him working with Kazutora and Chifuyu he was putting himself in a lot of danger, he didn't want you to be at risk too. He vowed to find you in the next timeline though, in the safer one. 

He was wrong though, this timeline wasn't safer and he didn't find you, you found him. He knew he would be a target after shooting Mikey but he wasn't expecting you to come after him. He's not sure how you got mixed up with Kisaki and Izana but it's clear you worked for them and had no idea who he was or once was to you. 

You'd been tailing him for weeks, following him around and observing him. Of course he'd noticed you immediately but said nothing. Instead he smiled at you each time your gazes met, the same way you had smiled at him in the very first timeline. You didn't smile back this time though, each time you would turn away or go back to pretending to just be a normal person who just so happened to be near him. 

Until that one evening, he was at home trying to finish off a report when he thought he heard something behind him. He was too slow to react though, you were immediately on top of him, restraining him and searching for hidden weapons. He only watched you, didn't even try to struggle against your tight grip. You pointed the gun at his head and he closed his eyes. You hesitated, something deep down telling you to not kill this guy. You didn't really know him, you'd just watched him a few weeks but you couldn't do it. Something was stopping you so the shot never rang out. When Naoto opened his eyes again you were gone, leaving his apartment as stealthily as you came in. 

He searched for you so hard after that but nothing, it's like you had disappeared. He didn't get to see you again there but you saw him one last time. After raiding the club with Koko and Inui you came out to see two bodies lying still on the floor. Closing the detectives eyes for him, you wondered why you were crying

Oh that sounds like a cute dynamic, so here are some centred around that!

He thinks you're way too good for him and this whole situation, absolutely doesn't want to get you involved in the things he does.

Will occasionally ask you a random but kinda concerning medical question like "if someone cut off a guys tongue he wouldn't bleed out right?"

Steals a lot of stuff for you, anything you could need or want that he knows is too expensive. He wants his little sibling to have only the best.

Ruffles your hair a lot

Teases you a lot by calling you "doctor" or "doc"

He was shocked the first time he came in badly injured and you immediately started to patch him back up. Sure growing up you'd always put plasters on his cuts and bruises for him but this was a whole step up. 

He smiles more often when you're around, his smiles tend to be more genuine and soft too.

Will "borrow" and play around with your medical equipment. 

He admires your kindness a lot, sometimes wonders how the two of you are even related

Brags about you to Kisaki

"Hey did you ever find out your blood type like I said?" "The red kind duh"

Likes the quiet times after a fight where it's late and he gets to hang out with you while you patch him up

Is a baby when it comes to antiseptic spray 

Promises that he'll beat up any of your classmates if they're mean or snooty to you. 

Jokingly calls your room a hospital sometimes 

And finally, on your very first day of medical school he drives you there and pats you on the back with a few (goofy) words of inspiration before you go in.

HLC REACT TO MC OFFERING TO MARRY THEM IN 10 YEARS

MC was laying on the soft grass beneath a tree, enjoying the fresh spring air with their very best friend. They laid together and cloud spotted, talked about this and that, just relaxing and having a lazy day. The subject of marriage came up when they started talking about their futures outside of Hogwarts. Both of them were single.

MC looks at their friend. "Hey... How about we make a deal? If we're both still single after 10 years, we should just get married."

OMINIS GAUNT: He blushes. He hadn't thought about being with MC like that before. He never thought they'd be interested, so he never let himself think of them in such a way. Now that MC had mentioned marriage, the floodgates were open. His heart skipped a beat and he wanted to ask them on a date right then and there. "...must we wait ten years?" He asks softly.

SEBASTIAN SALLOW: He laughs. "What am I? Your backup plan? That hurts." He puts his hand over his heart and exaggerates a pout. MC blushes and attempts to defend themselves but he waves them off. "I'm taking the piss, MC. Relax. I actually agree with you. I mean, we're about as close as two people can be without..." He trails off as his mind wanders to what could happen between them if they explored that route.

AMIT THAKKAR: His head whips to the side and he stares at them wide eyed. "You...you want to marry me?" Even if they were joking, just bringing up the M word sent his mind reeling. He wets his lips nervously. "Maybe...if you want to...we could try going on a date? Just once? Test the waters a little?" He looks at them with hopeful eyes.

GARRETH WEASLEY: "Why wait?" He asks, entirely serious. "We're very close friends, we could just get hitched after graduation. Then neither one of us have to worry about social pressure....well, except my family will definitely ask about children. That could get awkward." He looks at them, they were staring back with surprise with how casual he was being about this. "What..? Change your mind already?" He chuckles.

NATSAI ONAI: She smiles softly to herself. "That would be wonderful. I cannot think of someone better by my side. Shame, I must wait ten long years for you to come around." She looks at them when they stare at her with shock. "Yes, MC. I have harbored feelings for you for quite some time...there just never seemed to have been a good time to bring them up. Would you perhaps...like to get a butterbeer with me? I'll buy."

POPPY SWEETING: "Deal. I'll be neck deep in beast research and rehabilitation by then, I'll certainly need an extra pair of hands. You can be my assistant." She pokes at MC. MC pokes her back. She giggles and they get into a poke fight. It led to tickling. Then literally rolling and wrestling in the grass. It ends with MC on top of her. She smiles up at them. "...maybe five years?" She tries to renegotiate the terms of the deal.

IMELDA REYES: She snorts. "In ten years, I'll be at the height of my career with the Holyhead Harpies. Lots of traveling, wouldn't be a very settled life." She looks at them. "You sure you'd want to be a part of that?" Her tone soft. She'd gotten so used to them being around her, pushing her to always be her best, that she'd completely forgotten that graduation would mean going their separate ways. The very thought caused a sharp pain in her chest.

ANNE SALLOW: She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes with a smile. "Why wait those ten years? Neither one of us can seem to find the right person.... Perhaps because the right person happens to be next to us the entire time." She rolls on her side to face them, they do the same. She plays with the grass between them, shy to make eye contact. "We could give dating a try...what do you think?" She blushes and meets their gaze.

EVERETT CLOPTON: He sputters and stares at them in shock. "You? Me? Married? I mean- I'm not opposed to the idea, but are you sure? You could have anyone at Hogwarts. Hell, anyone in the WORLD. Why would you settle for me? ...I'm practically the bottom of the barrel." He looks away with self deprecated shame. MC taking his hand makes him feel lightning shoot up his arm and straight to his heart. He looks back at them and his heart skips a beat when he sees how close they got. "...are you sure?" He asks again, much quieter.

LEANDER PREWETT: "HA! If I'm still single in ten years, my mother will take issue. She'd go all matchmaker on me." He rolls on his side to face them, resting his head in his hand. "So, if you want to get married, I suggest you hurry and ask me on a date. We only have so long before graduation." He waggles his eyebrows and smirks. He was internally freaking out and prayed to Merlin they were being serious.

I might get into making an entire post about my Yule Balls & Old Foes main character. Essentially, they're now the character I played in the game, soon.

I've been playing it on Switch but the console's not mine but my cousin's, so I'm gonna have to work a little to get him to give me the screenshots. She looks alright, not ugly for sure, she's not the most beautiful either, but I will say I wish I looked and sounded like her.

Okay that took a dark turn, but yeah.

Ok here are some!!!

He still kicked Kazutora's dad even though he now knew he wasn't a kidnapper

He pouts after losing a race. (He also eats taiyaki before every race because it's "good luck")

Refuses to fight Senju in their toman years, she keeps chasing him declaring a spar while he keeps running off (Sanzu and Baji normally end up holding her back so Mikey can run)

Will nap in the most unusual places to avoid work and training 

Argues with Izana after Emma has her baby over who the baby's favourite uncle is. 

Offers to beat up Kiyomasa before Takemichi ever has to meet him again (Takemichi says no)

He gets so excited to meet Draken that he calls him "ken chin" straight away and manages to act even more strange then the first time.

Still manages to forget to put petrol in his street hawke when they go to the beach again (he doesn't let Baji go alone this time though)

He shares so many inside jokes with Takemichi, the others are sometimes confused as to what they're talking about. (One time he mentioned how good Hina is at hitting but Hina was just confused because she's never hit him???)

Pouts if the others tease him about being single 

Actually tends to be a little more cautious in fights, especially with new enemies in this timeline. And he keeps a much closer eye on the rest of the gang during fights.

Comes up with a plan to try and get Emma and Draken to confess to each other (it doesn't go well)

He straight up forgets about less important fights and people he beat. Will ask Takemichi who someone is often.

He really likes that he gets to call Izana is his brother here and has another sibling.

Wants everyone to watch and cheer for him on race days.
