Hi everyone. My father will be discharged next week and will return home. He always said he wanted to go home. It's still serious but I want to fulfill your wish. He will have to remain bedridden (a friend of mine lent me the special bed for bedridden patients) and will always remain terminally ill. But no one knows for sure how long he has left to live. I will be helped by a caregiver to wash him and a nurse for the IVs and everything else. I'm going to have to spend a LOT of time at home while he's here. So I think I'll spend my time finally writing everything I think about the story of the two boys. And what I think about Jerry, because I'M TIRED of reading the same old racist nonsense about that man.

I find it hard to believe that it was Jerry who threw the bag in the dumpster, he kept everything. He kept the watch that Dean gave him, the one with "I Love you" written on it, all his life. He should have thrown that away too. Did we ever think about the possibility that PATTI discovered that bag at Paramount, got into an argument with Jerry, and was the one who threw that bag away? We always think of Jeanne and her jealousy of Jerry. Do we ever think about the possibility that Patti, at some point, also became jealous of Jerry and Dean together? During the time that, according to the "official versions", Dean and Jerry were arguing, Jerry and Patti were almost on the verge of divorcing. When Dean argued with Jerry he would get back with Jeanne. When he argued and left Jeanne he went to Jerry and they got along well.

I don't know why it was in a dumpster, maybe Chris will tell us when I read a little further. 1956 was not a good year for Dean and Jerry. Maybe Jerry tossed it, but it doesn't make sense because Jerry kept everything. Or his heart was just too broken to look at it.

Hi everyone! My father is now in Hospice. I don't know if they only exist in Italy but a Hospice (exactly called that) is a hospital-like structure for terminally ill patients. No doctor can tell me "how long" he has left… he isn't suffering from cancer but he has heart problems. But he is there and I hope to bring him home if I am given the chance. He wants to go back at home and die at home. I go to visit him every afternoon, he is in a different town than the one where I live. I have to go there after writing this post. But I have to spend the time at home, alone when I return in the evening. Even if in reality I come back tired, especially mentally. Thank you for the get well wishes you sent to my father.❤️ Unfortunately it's too serious, he won't be able to heal. Last night, since I couldn't sleep, I started looking for photos of Jerry and Dean again and found several that (I think) I'd never seen. Now I'm sharing only this. I'll be back here tonight. (now here in Italy it is half past twelve in the morning)
