My Death Witch/Spirit Worker Masterpost
Hey everyone! This is my list of resources I have made over the course of the existence of this blog, pertaining specifically to death witchcraft and spirit work. (EDIT: I also added divination because it is such a vital part of my own practice) I hope it helps some of you, and provides a resource for you to use! I’ve also thrown in my death work stuff as well. These posts are all mine, coming from separate blogs at times ( @shipping-the-gods , @the-daily-diviner, and @tarnished-headstone (@witchthatiam/@lonesome-bones are the names of this blog from a while ago)); none of these blogs are active. The only blogs I am active on are @shroud-of-roses and @breathing-in-gilded-dust (dodekatheism blog).
Please note you can do these three practices individually, I just choose to put them together for my own personal practice! Pick what you like and use it if you desire.
Thanks,
Olivia

Vivid Dream Spell
Hello witches! I couldn’t sleep last night, so I wandered to my alter and made a spell jar for vivid dreaming. I love dream magick, but sadly I find that I never remember my dreams/don’t dream at all most nights. This spell was powerful, and I was visited by Aphrodite in my dream. So I’d love to share it with you all✨
What You’ll Need:
A glass jar
A light blue and dark blue candle
Lavender incense
Moon water
Thyme
Lavender flowers
Sage
Black salt (for protection, this is optional)
Lavender oil (optional)
Your wand of choice (optional)
I also used amethyst, crystal quarts and selenite.
What To Do:
Cast your circle and cleanse the room you’ll be sleeping in (I use ethically sourced palo santo to cleanse). During this time I call upon whatever deities I wish to work with, but if you don’t work with the devine that’s okay too. After casting your circle, light the lavender incense and use the smoke to cleanse your materials.
Set your intention! What kind of things are you looking to gain from this dream? Are you performing this spell for what kind of reasons?
Light your blue candles. I used both light and dark blue.
Add your moon water to the jar, along with a few sprigs of thyme, a pinch of ground sage, lavender flowers, black salt and lavender oil. As your doing this, focus on your intention. Visualize what you’re wanting to gain from this spell.
I used a little chant while doing this:
Whatever the meaning, so mote it be. Show me the dream I wish to see.
Meditate on your intention. Call upon your deities if you work with them, ask them to guide you during your sleep.
Take the melted wax from your blue candles and pour it into the jar while you focus and meditate on your intention. After this, take your wand and trace a pentagram over the jar while using the chant above. Tap the glass three times with your wand to set the spell.
Once this is finished, take your desired crystals and the jar to a place beside your bed (i set my things on my bedside table). Put out your candles, incense, turn off the lights and get comfy in bed. Meditate on your intention as you fall asleep ✨

Death’s Slave : A Curse 🗡
i wrote this for a dear friend who is being troubled by people who are downright cruel. this curse is what id like to call a “last resort”. it is meant to torture your target(s) with the presence of death. it can be pretty severe, so if you use it - choose your target wisely.
You Will Need:
• 1 Black Candle - justice, sorrow
• Red Ink - a marker, pen, or actual ink
• Paper
• Chili Powder - discord, misery, strife
• Black Salt - distress
• Your saliva
• Nails
• Vinegar
• A toothpick/knife/sharp object
Instructions:
1. Get your candle. Carve cursing sigils into the wax that are in sync with your intent.
2. Anoint your candle with vinegar, then sprinkle it with black salt and chili powder.
3. Take a piece of paper and write your target’s name on it with red ink. As you finish, say aloud:
“May your days of peace come to an end with the lighting of this candle, a curse I send.
My face will forever haunt your days and nights, the pain I shall cause will slice you like a knife.
Death will linger, making you its slave. But you will not be satisfied with a physical grave.
Bones and nails, blood and blades, the debt of your sins shall be paid.”
4. When you finish, spit on the paper and crumple it up. Stab the candle with the nails. Light the candle and using the flame, burn the paper. Let the candle burn for a while, then store it in a dark place. Bury the ashes/what is left of the paper. Done!
note: not every witch believes in the threefold law. please be respectful of witches who choose to curse. their craft is their own, as yours is your own.
