I'm pretty sure I've seen the user sending guilt-trippy messages about plus-sized characters to multiple artists who draw similar subject matter. They're being a bully - draw what you like because you want to, you're not "wrong" for that. There are plenty of artists who post exclusively plus-sized characters if that's what they're seeking, and uplifting those artists would serve their goal better.

I sincerely apologize for possibly drawing this matter out further - I've enjoyed seeing your recent work on my dashboard, your poses are very fun.

its not just this one guy. every time i've gotten unwarranted critique or just flat insults its always by someone who wants me to draw plus sized characters. they never ask politely - they just try to bully me into it and call me fatphobic whenever i call them out.

unfortunately when i do try to draw plus sized characters i just think of the times i was bullied into it and it just makes me too angry to continue

but its time to grow up and actually study plus sized people, not for the bullies but for personal growth instead. i just need a better headspace for it

honestly, you were right! i should draw more body types and study more types of people. It's important for plus sized people to get more representation and I am part of the problem. So i am going to draw more plus sized people from now on.

however i am just tired of being passive aggressively asked to draw plus sized people. Instead of just ASKING me to draw plus sized people, i get these roundabout questions needlessly insulting my art without warrant. It's always "you draw the same thing over and over" or "your art is samey" and THEN they ask for plus sized people. You can ask people to draw plus-sized characters AND be respectful of their feelings, you know
