Effective Approach

Our team come up with another strategy to gain participants. First, we expanded our target consumers as we have observe most of the student have online classes especially in CEA department. Instead of interviewing, we hand out survey papers and more audience are willing to participate. This approach improves our team productivity and we have been more innovative as participants see a potential use of our product.

WEEK TWO: Start-up

Partial Interview

First approach of our start-up we have come up ideas and introduce it to our fellow engineering and architecture students, our target consumer. Upon interviewing we faced difficulties as some of the students were hesitant and declined to be interviewed. Luckily, most of the students we have interviewed gave us insights and innovation to improve our ideas.

WEEK ONE: Self - Assessment

16 Personalities & the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

During the first week of Technopreneurship, we were tasked to take a personality test. In this way, I was able to learn more of myself as well as to my peers individuality and this helps us to create a compatible team for our start-up.

My personality test result was an advocate and I have observe that as an advocate, they prefer to approach life with profound thinking and imagination. Their inner vision, personal convictions, and a calm, principled kind of humanism lead them in everything they do.

According to this result, advocates have lofty goals and ambitions, they should not be mistaken for idle dreamers. People with this personality type value integrity, and they are rarely content until they have done what they know is right. Conscientious to the core, they walk through life with a clear sense of their principles, and they strive never to lose sight of what truly counts - not according to other people or society at large, but according to their own knowledge and intuition.

Berkeley Innovation Index Test

We are aspired entrepreneurs no matter what field we chose in college. And being an entrepreneur and starting up a potential business in the future, we must improve our mindset towards life. By taking this test, it indicates the level of our innovation as an individual and how we must enhance our mind set to see a better perspective in our future.

After taking the test, result shows that the level of my personal innovation mindset was 70.42 % and that means I have to enhance my mindset. In the field of technopreneurship, it is important to be resilient in any case as there will be a trial and error in business. Having a resilient mindset this helps us to deal with failures, challenges and setback which we are likely to experience along the journey towards success.
