So I'm just reading Legendary weapon descriptions (since I obviously don't own all of them and I love little lore bits), and this is the cutest thing ever. Aurene plz, you can still do this even as an Elder dragon, I don't mind!!! you'll always be my baby!!!!!!!!!
I started playing GW2 around 4 years ago. Every year, on the birthday of my first character, guardian Erris, I post a Trammander art piece on Reddit.
This piece is from about 2 years ago and remains one of my favorites.
However, truth be told, I'm running out of ideas. It's not as if Trahearne lived long enough to create many memories...
Note that Erris isn't wearing dragonhunter's gauntlet and racing scarf in it like she does in most other pieces.
The gauntlet, of course, was obtained later during HoT. As for the racing scarf, it's a gift from Trahearne during LWS2. There is actually a little story about it, maybe I will write it down some day.
no see i'm crying bc they had to put Laranthir so far in the back or else he probably wouldn't even fit in the screen compared to Almorra and Forgal 😭😭
Platonic or romantic there is something so powerful about Trahearne's relationship with commander. Him on the pedestal everyone put him on, and yet he sees them and thinks they're the most wonderful thing. He is many people's hero, but the commander is his.
He wants them by his side always, downhearted to be separated from them. But always believing in them. He yearns for their company, but never tries to stop them from pursuing what they feel they must. It is his happiness that he could share the most important moment of his life privately with them.
He trusts them with his life to its logical conclusion. Maybe it was a cruel thing to ask, but it had to be the commander. Both of them knew that.
All in all, he really loved the commander, one way or another.
