Given how much shorter the flash series was, both in terms of the length and count of the episodes, we aren't as familiar with a lot of the tracks, but they're really good and it could be nice if some of them returned for the new series along with familiar songs from the original show and newer songs.
Either way, this one feels like it could have been part of the original Keroro anime

We haven't had a lot of karaoke versions of the "Keroro adjacent" tracks, partially because the sung version needs to come first so people have a better idea of what they're listening to, so it's nice to catch up a little bit. And this is a really fun track, it has a slight retro feeling I find, listening to it, I can picture somebody dancing on a classic checkerboard floor having a good time

This one was interesting, as soon as I heard the opening notes I recognised it and remembered it being paired with establishing shots, usually ones wandering through the base. But it turns out this song is actually multiple pieces of memorable background music, the middle section also includes the "Nostradamus" vocals that play when Mois summons her spear

"This me is" It's been a while since we did a "Keroro Adjacent" track, this song is from one of the CDs I had to buy a physical copy of, but just this one on its own is enough to make me glad that I did; even without going into the lyrics, which are also wonderful, the melody fits exactly to my musical tastes and was a wonderful surprise the first time I listened to it

For our 100th post I wanted to do something special, and chose Kuronosu no Mori, or Chronos Forest for the occasion
It's interesting the broad variety of tones this series has despite being a gag series; the singing in this song is lovely and the instrumentals in the middle wouldn't feel out of place on the soundtrack to a Studio Ghibli film. It's no wonder it's received two remixes for the movies
I feel like one thing that makes this series work better than a lot of North American children's comedy shows is that, yes, it's funny, but it allows itself to be other things too and doesn't shy away from or undercut those more complicated feelings, and the few times it does it's handled in a way that makes sense

"I am here" I know I say this every time, but the second movie has some of the most gorgeous music, this song has such a magical, nostalgic feeling to it, it feels like you're exploring a little untouched pocket of the surface world hidden in an under water cavern

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Giroro's debut, and I had a lot of choice for songs I could post, but went with this one since it ended up becoming Giroro's theme music in the original show.
Also, don't worry about the parts where it goes silent, this track is one of those songs that have a lot of dialogue mixed in and feel like a mini-drama, perhaps I'll post a translation of the voiced version when I upload it In retrospect I probably should have shuffled the drama over to have part of it posted today, but doing these character anniversary posts was a sudden decision and not as well planned as I would have liked, the next few are going to be better planned

I originally had this cued for just over two weeks ago, but changed it the night before to use a softer, more magical sounding track; having said that, this is still a really dynamic track, so I'm glad not to have to wait too long to finally post it

I promise I didn't accidentally upload a song from the wrong folder, though the original Kaze ni Naru (Become the Wind) was already a few years old by this point, it was popular enough to have a version with Ukulele accompanied version on this CD
I've listened to a few of her songs besides these two, and one that's really interesting is Sha La La; the accompanying music video is done entirely with Playmobile and tells an open-ended love story (at least, to me it is since we never see if the girl continues the wedding or not)
If you're curious, you can see the video here

And like last time, the preview for the next drama, which as of this post being made, is mostly translated (even if the title is a bit difficult to find a good translation for) I'll try to get it posted soon (^.^)v
G66: Corporal Giroro here.
A CD is pretty good, no matter what they say, something with voice alone is nice. Some people have a problem with shyness, where if you point a camera at them, they freeze up.
K66: More than that, the third one is "Pekopon Invasion CD volume 3, Tamama, quiz and gemora~, yes sir!" And our Pekopon invasion ally''s funky campaign song "Come On Come On" is included. Releasing October 21st, how that? Ge gero~

I remember the puns from last time were tricky to make work, but this was an easy and adorable epilogue, after this is the episode preview tomorrow
(Fuyuki humming, the cat calls out)
FYK: You came again? Wait a moment
N: Since Neko-chan was always a cat, she's just returned to her usual form
FYK: Here, some seaweed. It's you favourite, isn't it?
N: So she gladly eats the seaweed she receives from Fuyuki. Meanwhile, before Giroro & Natsumi returned to their normal form, an array of dramas ensued, but I think we shall leave that to everyone's imaginations

This is where the aforementioned "world of fear 15 minutes into the story" is, I had listened to the parts on either side of this one first, before going through the whole thing, and thought the story felt a little familiar, but I seriously was not expecting the way this part turned out (^.^')
-------------------------
K66: Well then, Sgt Major Kururu, shall we return Giroro & company to normal?
966: Roger, "when the bell rings size changing spoon" device, reversing stand by
M: Outfit changing spoon size device, reverse stand by
G66: Thank goodness, we're finally returning to normal
723: Thanks to you
KT: It was fun!
966: Starting, switch on
M: Switch on
TMM: This time Nacchi and the others are growing bigger! But something feels weird
K66: They're whiskers! Sideways growing whiskers are-!
G66: W-What?
TMM: And ears on top of their heads too!
723: Eh?
G66: No way!
966: Even a bonus tail, ku ku ku ku, they're hybridization phenomenon
M: It's completed
723: What's this meow? (1)
G66: What the meow is this?
TMM: Wow, it's cat Nacchi & cat Mr Corporal!
K66: Gero, gero, gero! They look ridiculous as cats!
G66: Don't mew laugh!
723: Since I'm meow a cat, I can feel my body over flowing with meow-er. Be afraid!
K66: Hie~!
723: Hey! Just mew wait!
K66: I'll taste bad if you eat me!
TMM: It's genuinely a cat hunting a frog
M: You could say, survival of the fittest?
966: Ku ku ku ku ku, even if we can't sell her, I can get a top video
G66: Hm? Come to think of it, where did that girl from before go to, meow?
---------
1-Since Japanese has cats say "nya" the original dialogue replaces the "na" syllable with "nya", but the exact lines didn't easily fit this, so I fudged it a little

Part 4, there are still 2 more and the preview left.
Ah, I feel bad for Keroro that things like this keep happening, some plastic model sets have a really cheap retail price, which explains how he has so many.
And a few years ago Bandai began programs where you could bring in the runners the pieces come packed in to be recycled, I believe old and damaged models can also be recycled into new ones, and you can get the "Ecopla" they're made into in exchange for them, so he could probably exchange all of the broken pieces he has for a decent number of them
Thinking about it, I'm surprised they haven't done a campaign for ecopla with Keroro, all things considered it feels like a perfect fit, and they could even have him and Dororo agree on something
M: There's a signal from Corporal Giroro: You could say a tiny distress call?
K66: Gero gero gero gero, they've finally opened their eyes, then. Connect it
M: Roger
G66: Keroro
K66: Are you ready to surrender, Corporal Giroro?
723: That's our line
K66: N?
G66: Do you know where we are right now?
K66: Wherever you go, there's nowhere for you guys to run. Surrender
G66: Is that so?
K66: Kero? It somehow feels as if something plastic-like is breaking. I feel my heart becoming sad
M: Preparations complete, a transmission is coming through Ah, th-this place is-
K66: Eh? Where? C-could it be-?
M: The gunpla room
K66: Iyaaa!
G66: That's right. Hey, do it.
723: Roger, Giroro
K66: Gero~! My Gunpla~!
G66: If you want to prevent us destroying your gunpla, return us to normal immediately
K66: I've got it! I'll change you back to normal! So stop destroying my gunpla~!
723: Got it
N: Thus the battle, and team Giroro's excellent plan concluded

This is the part I had the hardest time translating.
I remember on the old forums there was one person who really liked the Nyororos, I've always liked them well enough without them really being a favourite, bu the image of tiny ones is really adorable (^.^)
-----------------
N: This is Sergeant Keroro's room
G66: Keroro, where are you?
K66: Gero~ Gero gero gero
723: Stupid frog!
G66: Damn it, he was waiting for us!
K66: Quite right! Natsumi-dono, Corporal Giroro, you look good. You'll sell for a high price to a space-maniac
723: If you do that, you'll pay for it!
K66: Now, now, not to worry. I might be willing to use Kururu's time-space device in my hand to turn you back to normal
723: Isn't that a lie!?
K66: In any case, it's pointless trying to stand against me! Come on! Every-nyoro!
G66: & 723: What?
723: What's this freaky group?
G66: These are petite nyoro
TMM: That's right, they're a common pest on Keron
966: And their specialty is capturing prey precisely your size, Natsumi-san, ku~ ku ku ku ku
K66: By tying this collar around a petite nyoro, you can make it so they don't eat the prey they catch. That's the petite nyoro district. It's something splendid sourced from the petite nyoro district that lets you control petite nyoros for all kinds of purposes
TMM: The company trip was definitely to Keron
K66: Go! My petite nyoro gang, capture them!
(Nyororo noises)
K66: Gero! Gero gero gero, your efforts are futile
723: Keep away from them!
G66: Natsumi! Behind you!
723: Ah?
G66: Augh! Take this!
(Nyroro and fighting noises)
G66: I will, protect Natsumi!
723: Giroro!
KT: Guys who beat up Giroro are bad guys!
(More fighting noises)
723: Really! How many of them are there?
G66: At this rate, they'll catch Natsumi. There's got to be some way, a way to win- The underground base. That's right!
Natsumi, run, come with me! Hey, you come too!
KY: Roger, Giroro
G66: Don't fall behind
966: Oh, it seems they've gone into the underground base
TMM: Why would they go into the base?
K66: They're just prolonging the inevitable, they're already scurrying like rats. Gero! Gero gero gero
N: And so, the rat sized Giroro & company, where could they be lurking in the wastefully huge base? Finding them would be as hard as searching for rats in a vast base. Keroro and the others fell behind as 30 minutes went by without them being able to do anything

Part 2
They never describe the costumes, I'm guessing Natsumi's similar to the Powered Natsumi outfit and the cat's is similar to her human design, but does Giroro get an outfit too?
I like to imagine he was put in an Alice in Wonderland inspired outfit, or at least has the bow and is going through all of this without noticing it
-----------------------------------------
723: What is this spoon? It has a bell attached in a weird place. How cute! But when did we get this?
(Cat meows)
723: Ah, the usual Kitty, did you find and bring this? What?
G66: Natsumi~!
723: Giroro, why are you so flustered?
G66: Natsumi! Drop that spoon!
723: Spoon? This spoon with a bell attached?
(Sounds of the spoon activating)
723: W-What is this sound!? It's echoing in my head!
G66: Natsumi!
FYK: Sis! I heard a noise! Huh? She's not here, where did she go? Oh well
N: Nobody's here, is that really true? No, at this time, he hadn't noticed that under the table, standing 10cm tall, his own older sister and Corporal Giroro, as well as...
723: What was...
(shocked noises)
723: The table has- And the whole kitchen has become huge!
G66: We've become small. It's that spoon, when the bell rang, it changed our sizes
723: It's that stupid frog's doing again, isn't it?
G66: He planed to make you into a living figure, and take you to a space figure mania market
723: What was that!? I definitely won't forgive this!
G66: What do you plan to do?
723: Naturally I'll get back to normal! After that I'll kick his butt so hard that he'll never do this again!
G66: It's impossible. Right now our size, and power, has been decreased to 1/18th
723: Then what should we do?
G66: Attack, but we have no weapons... Ah, Natsumi! Hanging from your hip, isn't that a gun?
723: Eh? A weapon? Where where where? It really is, why is something like this- Giroro, did you clip this on me?
G66: Hm? Owough! Could it be a full armour game? Looking closely, Natsumi, your outfit is different from usual
723: How did this happen?
G66: Th-that's it! It could be that spoon, while it changes our sizes, also puts you in a costume so you can be sold right away?
723: So it put us in cosplay for that?
G66: That Kururu, that guy doesn't overlook anything, but thanks to that we have a chance of victory
723: Yeah
G66: Even if we have equipment, there are still limits. If it becomes a drawn out conflict, we'll be at a disadvantage. We'll use our small size to approach Keroro undetected, then take him down in one quick shot
???: Yay!
723: Eh?
G66: Eh? That voice just now was-
KT: I'll do my best too!
G66: Who are you?
723: She's the same size as us, and got an outfit from nowhere. Could it be, you were also effected by that device?
KT: Something like that
G66: I'm sorry you got caught up in this
KT: Not to worry, no to worry
723: Though I don't think I've seen your face around here before Ah, are you a friend of Fuyuki's?
KT: Fuyuki's nice, but I like Giroro
G66: Love?
KT: I like Giroro~!
723: Huh?
G66: edfdg, w-wait, what are you saying?
723: Hmm? To think you have such a cute friend!
G66: You're wrong! I don't don't know this person! I, Na-Na, Na~
723: Na? (1) What are you saying?
G66: Na- Natsu- Na-
N: While he's stuttering, I'll say it for him I! Na- na- na- Love You Natsumi!
G66: A-anyway, it's better to have another comrade, let's go!
723 & KT: Oh!
N: Eh? I thought you'd already realised, this girl is the kitty who was in the kitchen earlier. She's the same one Giroro helped in episode 10 of the TV show. Well, keep listening.
-----------------
1- Since Japanese is a head last language, here he's trying to say Natsumi's name, but there are a lot of other things he could be saying, like "I don't know anything about this", the word for "what" also starts with "na", so Natsumi repeating what Giroro's saying leads neatly into her question

It's here! (^.^) I'm not sure why this story is split into several parts when none of the others are, but this format works really well for uploads like this, a little like how the radio dramas that inspired CD ones were broadcast in several parts with each episode leading into the next.
I also really enjoy the character banter in this specific part (^.^) it's so much fun
---------
K66: Pekopon invasion CD, number two:
723: Natsumi, 1/18th scale plan
K66: Yes sir!
--------
N: About 15 minutes from now, your ears will feel like they're leaving your body for a world of fear.
(door creaks open)
723: I'm home!
723 (on screen): Ah! Stupid frog! Again, he left the cleaning tools out!
K66: Gero, gero, gero, gero, Natsumi-dono has returned from school, yes sir
966: Ku ku ku, according to plan
TMM: Is it alright? Going ahead with a plan while keeping it secret from Corporal Giroro & Lance Corporal Dororo?
966: If we told them, they'd oppose it
K66: Tamama, you must especially keep it secret from that red daruma. This time's "1/18th scale Natsumi" plan is-
G66: What is a secret?
K66: Corporal Giroro! When did you get here?
G66: I just got here now
K66: I-Is that right, sir? (If he'd heard, yee! It'd be really bad!)
G66: Then, what is this "1/18th scale Natsumi" plan?
K66: Gero! You heard it, then?
G66: What kind of pointless plan did you think of?
K66: Right, right, it's too trivial a plan for you to bother with
TMM: No it's not! This time, Mr Sergeant's plan is completely different from all the dumb plans before it
K66: Dumb?
TMM: It's seriously great! We're going to use the "When the bell rings, your size changes spoon" device Sgt Major Kururu invented to shrink Nacchi to 1/18th her size
G66: What?!
966: He said it
K66: P-Private Tamama, don't say-
TMM: Let me talk, Mr Sergeant!
K66: Uh~
TMM: We expect that if Nacchi is reduced to 1/18th her size her power will also become 1/18th. And if that happens, even Mr Sergeant could easily win single-handedly, and once he has dominance of this house in his hand, it'll be a stepping stone for the invasion of Pekopon. Well, it's a nice plan, right?
G66: (rage sounds)
K66: Tamama-kun, that was supposed to be a secret from Corporal Giroro
TMM: I'm sorry Mr Sergeant! Then, I'll definitely keep it a secret how you plan to turn the shrunk Nacchi into a living figure, and enter her into the space Wonder Festival!
966: Ku ku ku, since among space otaku, even one Pekoponian living figure commands a high price.
G66: (More serious rage sounds)
K66: Gero!
G66: That's moronic! I swear all this has filled your head with flab!
K66: Even if what you're saying is true-
966: Ku ku ku ku, It's too late now
G66: What!?
(Natsumi humming on screen)
966: Natsumi is now in the kitchen, where there's a single spoon on the table, and that spoon is really...ku ku ku, the "when the bell rings, your size changes spoon" device
G66: What was that!?
