All that mattered was that they were together, and together, they could take on the world."

Kimberly Earthfriend did not sign up for this. When the Young Wizard quit their quest after the fall of Azteca, she was left to pick up the pieces. And so she finds herself in Lemuria, helping Dasein to restore the fractured memory he inherited from the Old One. But everything is not as it seems when the Killawahoo volcano erupts. Will this be the final straw that makes Kimberly confront her past?

Soooo I wrote a little songfic about the wizard in Lemuria. Song is “Haven” bc We Banjo 3, I highly recommend giving it a listen.

Listen, I love seeing folks talk about how they want Morganthe to return/get a redemption arc, however i've been seeing a lot more of that conversation revolve around her attractiveness rather than her characteristics.

Which like, sure, I've made comments like that- i am a woman enjoyer, Morganthe is inherently a conventionally attractive character, 2+2=4; but the desire for her return/redemption shouldn't ONLY be boiled down to "omg i love the big toddy goth mommy i want her back soooo bad" like... idk, there is a point where im like. This is. This is too focused on the sexualization of her character and not her journey as a character, the role she's played in the grand story of the Spiral in relation to the wizard, her knowledge and talent as a Wizard, her relationships with people,etc. Like she's one of the more three dimensional characters in the game and people only ever talk about how hot she looks half the time oTL

Anwyho, not that it super duper matters, just something I've noticed semi recently from folks on twit. Pls remember she is so much more than just her looks :'D

It’s inspired by the Stag Lord’s Cape and Spellwright’s Druidic Cowl, so Kimberly’s main questing outfit. And yes, that is the emblem of the silver rose on the pocket :D

So I’m having a thought.

I’m almost to Lemuria now, and one of the things that’s struck me about arc 4 so far is how quiet it is. There’s so many places where I click on something and there’s no narration, even though it feels like there should be. I know why, obviously. Grandmother Raven retired to the Husk with Spider, the Wizard is on their own.

I just wonder how that feels for them!

You spend your very traumatic formative years with a literal goddess on your shoulder, and then suddenly that’s just gone. You’re completely on your own, stuck with a very important universe preserving job at a really tender age! If you graduate Ravenwood at 18 like most assume, that makes the Wizard in their early 20’s ish by arc 4. And as someone who is currently 21,

I can't be the only Wizard101 player who has given my wizard a name that you can't get in the game right? I was Trans in Wizard101 before it was cool and I've been calling my guy Calcifer for ages - so even though I did Trans Calcifer's Gender via the mirror, I still don't call him the name he's got in game. Anyone else do this too?
