Twilight Sparkle x Moon Dancer

I've seen a lot about this ship, and honestly? It's really underrated! This isn't really popular ship. Most people prefer Twilight with one of her Ponyville friends, or other characters like Flash Sentry. However, I personally find these alternatives are kind of.. messy? I don't really know how to explain, but here's me trying anyway:

Shipping Twilight with any of her friends weirds me out. I mean, these are her first friends! The entire series is about the power of platonic relationships, and while some ( Rainbow Jack, Flutter Dash, and Rarity x Apple, you can't change my mind. (Maybe not at the same time though)) could develop into more, it seems off that the main character would ever have that kind of further development. I've also honestly never seen any kind of romantic chemistry between any of them and Twilight, except maybe Apple Jack. Even then, it still doesn't feel really romantic.

Flash Sentry doesn't know Twilight - everything that happened between them happened in the human world. Flash has no idea what's going on, and the relationship would probably feel forced and stilted.

But there's evidence Moon Dancer (or Moon) and Twilight get along better than expected. Technically, Twilight had friends in Canterlot, but she didn't get on with any of them. Except Moon! Although she clearly didn't care that much (missing her birthday party), it's clear they had some kind of relationship. Twilight later goes on to try and help Moon come out of her shell, furthering and deepening their bond.

The way I picture they got together goes something like this:

Twilight may have still continued to spend time with her friends after her coronation, but not much - only once a moon. Soon, she'd get lonely. The first pony she'd rekindle her relationship with would obviously be Moon, the pony who she has the best connection with. One thing becomes another, and they begin dating and eventually are married!

I think that sums up my feelings on this ship. I am a full-on shipper and you can't stop me! Moon Dancer always has been and always will be the only pony I'll ship Twilight with. The funny thing is usually I only ship characters with one person, but when comes to MLP, usually I'm a multi-shipper. Twilight (and Fluttershy!) are probably the only Mane 6 characters I ship with only on person.

A bit about Me!

Hey! I'm kinda new too tumblr so I figured I'd post some stuff about me. I'm fairly young, and I am a very varied reader who happens to enjoy writing! If I work up the courage I'll post my original short story, but I also write fanfics (privately. On google docs. You get the idea.) I'm a fan of many fandoms, but here are a few I really like. I also want to mention I'll probably (hopefully) be posting headcanons, so more that than actual writing, and I go through phases - like all HP stuff, now I'm suddenly posting trolls, that kind of thing. On to the promised stuff! (If you couldn't tell already, I am horrible at staying on topic.)
