Were he brave enough to let his tongue dart out, lick her name off someone else’s voice. Her dozen legs told him I am a woman and he believes it as the physicality of thought. Micolash creeps closer, moving his stale breath along— does he know, too, about the lake-moon upside down? But he doesn’t care, not now that he’s rehearsing his end.

The Hourglass Twins. I feel like every planet has a particular moment that stands out to me. For Giant's Deep, it was landing without a ship, for the Ember Twin, it was entering the caves for the first time too late in the loop and escaping right as the sand was making my head scrape the ceiling. I have claustrophobia now.

This picture didn't take to long to draw, only two hours, which is like half the time of all the other ones I've done. Probably to make up for all the time I've wasted falling into the canyon on the Ember Twin and being unable to fly back out.
