You Are Softer Than You Look

Lena hated flying. Even though it was part of being in Leverage International.

She did fly to Boston and New Orleans, but those were just a couple hour flights. Plus she kept busy.

Nope LI was flying to Portland, Oregon.

Ugh! Why do I have to go?! She wondered.

"Ya ok there, Sweetheart?," asked a gruff voice.

"Yep. All good, El!," she smiled.

"Liar," he smirked.

"OK. I hate flyin'. Yes, I know I flew to Boston and down here. But it seems different. We're goin' to Oregon. That's further," she explains.

"I gotcha. Looks like Breanna sat us near each other," he smiles.

That smile…

When they get to the airport, Lena is hesitant, but Eliot is right beside her.

Once they board the plane and she gets seated, she starts shaking. Eliot sees this and holds her hands. A thousand sparks go up her arms.

"I gotcha. Rest. We'll be in Oregon 'fore ya know it," he smiles.

She gets comfy and falls asleep.

Eventually Lena's head rolls onto Eliot's shoulder.

He just chuckles and kisses her forehead.

He would do anything for her. More than anyone else.

A few hours later, he's nudging her awake.

"Wake up, Darlin'. We're ‘bout to land," he softly growls.

She wakes up and stretches like a cat. Showing off a bit of her fluffy belly. She realizes this and quickly pulls it down.

Eliot just stares and licks his lips.

Once they land and depart the plane, Lena pulls him aside.

"Um..thanks El. For helpin' me relax and rest on yer shoulder. You're softer than ya look," she smirks and walks away.

He stands there dumbfounded.

That woman can see right through him and he's soo intrigued.

He catches up with her and walks close to her.

"You're welcome, Darlin'. Please don't go tellin' people that I'm soft. I have a reputation to uphold," he whispers to her.

She chuckles and follows her friends to their next job.
