Currently learning Korean, just started on Chinese and I'm working on improving my study skills!
I'm also looking for a Korean study partner/someone to practice Korean with.
Message me if you're interested 🤗

If there is something that happens habitually/often or that tends to repeat itself every now and then, you would use the grammatical structure -곤 하다. To use this, you just add it directly to the end of the verb stem: you just drop the 다 from the end of the verb and add -곤 하다, then conjugate the ending for speech level. Super easy!
These kinds of habits might be like:
‘When I have time, I usually (from time to time) have lunch with my friend’ - 저는 시간이 있을 때 친구랑 같이 점심을 먹곤 해요.
‘From time to time, I write letters to my parents’ - 나는 부모님한테 편지를 쓰곤 한다.
‘I usually eat fruit but sometimes I also eat candy (now and then)’ - 저는 보통 과일을 먹지만 가끔은 사탕도 먹곤 해요
‘In the evenings I often play games with my friend’ - 저녁에 나는 내 친구랑 게임을 하곤 해요.
You can also use -곤 했다 to express habits that you used to have but no longer do, such as:
‘I used to watch dramas every day’ - 저는 매일 드라마를 보곤 했어요.
‘I used to go for a walk often’ - 저는 자주 산책을 하곤 했어요.
‘I used to drink alcohol a lot’ - 나는 술을 많이 마시곤 했어요
'I used to listen to INFINITE all the time’ (actually I still do but… THIS IS AN EXAMPLE hahha) - 나는 항상 INFINITE를 듣곤 했어요
NOTE: You wouldn’t use this grammatical structure for activities that always happens routinely e.g. ‘I go to school every day’ (매일 학교에 가요) or ‘I always have dinner every day’ (나는 항상 매일 저녁을 먹어요)
Hey guys! When I was learning French, watching series helped me to improve my French in a fun way! So I wanna share a few series I have watched and/or that are popular. Hopefully, they will help you too!
Les Revenants (dead people coming back to live and to their beloved ones)
Marseille (about the mayor of Marseille and his rival)
Louis(e) (a trans woman falls in love with her former wife)
Le secret d’Elise (mystery, about the death of a child, takes place in the 60ies, the 80ies and today)
We say “English doesn’t make any sense” because saying “English is unusual in that, when it borrows vocabulary from other languages, it tends to partially retain the morphology of the originating language group rather than adapting the word in question to English morphology, which is why we have twelve different ways to construct a plural” takes too long.
19 febbraio 2018 || I’ve been studying Korean for the past 2 weeks, and I’m really proud of myself because I haven’t missed a day. I can finally go on with level 2 of TTMIK ✨ I really enjoy TTMIK lessons, and I wish there was something like this for Chinese too 👀or maybe… there is and I don’t know about it? Please tell me if you know 📚
