btw this isn’t even me as a biased william girl saying this bc even friedge went against HIS usual policy and openly talked about an injury during playoffs because the discourse and discussion around william had gotten so unfair and out of hand bc m.lse handled it like absolute amateurs and then, even worse, did nothing about the mess they created!!!!

when i say the godforsaken organization is always treating him like shit the bullshit this round is what i mean. i'm not going to blame anyone for him playing in game 82; there was seeding at stake + you don't know when a migraine is going to come on and even if he himself suspected it was approaching he was obviously fine to go at the time and wanted to be in the lineup. but it is soooo crazy of the l.eafs to throw him under the bus and feed the voracious toronto media some bullshit about "soreness" knowing this was going to whip people into a frenzy because SINCE WHENNNN has ANY HOCKEY PLAYER in the HISTORY OF THE LEAGUE missed a stanley cup playoff game because of soreness lol. like there were genuinely people were convinced sheldon HEALTH BOMBED him for game one because the grand shanaplan called for no transparency. which, fine. unlike the sports bettors out there i don't think i'm entitled to information on injuries. but then if a complete lockdown on injury info is the party line why would you then say something vague about soreness and let him get attacked from all angles for being soft or not committed to the team or whatever. i sincerely wish m.lse ill and i even more sincerely wish william a migraine-free existence!!!
